You don’t want anything that’s a milled AK. Heavy modifications will be needed for the furniture to fit

ret2play

I did wonder about that…thanks!

fckyakalash

Arsenal SGL or any properly converted Saiga.

TheAcidHermit

This^ 102/104/105 saiga or bust

ret2play

I would love a Saiga, but I got into this AK game late last couple years, so those are pretty much unobtainium for me now.:.

Godzilla_OgKaiju

You can find some still very affordable

Super-Lychee8852

Converted saiga for sure. On more of a budget a Jack can do it

Fadinglaw

You should probably check out a KR103. It has solid build quality and proven reliability. I believe KUSA makes all their firearms following actual data packages aquired from Russia so they're 100% built to spec. Zenitco makes their stuff specifically for Russian rifles(unless otherwise specified). KUSA is the closest thing you'll get to a legit Saiga in the states without spending a ton of money. The fit and finish makes for easy installation of any Zenitco part. Also do you want a legal rifle? You'll have to consider 922r compliance. With an American made AK it is exempt from this restriction. I don't think anyone has ever been charged for breaking 922r compliance but it's something to think about in this day and age. https://preview.redd.it/x5w56pm1id2a1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=8105a2a904e1f00593ed6c621862e5bbd40455d7

Top-Recipe356

922r is nonsense for the civilian, that’s for the importer of rifles to worry about

Fadinglaw

Unfortunately that's incorrect, it most certainly encompasses gun owners AND importers. However, I do agree that it's nothing to worry about. Odds are nothing would come of someone violating 922r compliance.

Less-Wonder-2789

Anything 100 series. That's what they were intended for.

I bought an Arsenal SLR 106 and was told zentico parts would fit perfectly… long store short the sport 4 kit required hammering in and the b33 was canted forward and wouldn’t properly fit into the rear channel. Point if my post, go into your build with the mindset you’ll have some work to do.

truthfulphosphorus65

My 106 just required hammering like a mf, but didn’t really have to file anything or mess with the b-33, initially is didn’t install right but just re did it a few times and it worked great

ray2000c

Zero fil

ray2000c

Might if done it wrong or had bad Zenitco

Anxious-Salary-7669

I just ordered a Romanian Cugir M10 12.5” - cheap and you can actually find replacement parts stateside. The one I bought came with no furniture, full zenitco kit going on next week.

BRAELONMYKA

draco

MinutePoem426

Honestly psa 104,105 or kr-104. Those are the rifles zenitco was kinda designed to work with.
