Gameplaywise, you can always go back there in either the child or adult timeline. And even start there in the child timeline if you saved outside a dungeon. Though storywise, does Link ever again see the village and the kids he grew up with?

He probably goes back there after returning to his own time before setting out to find Navi. And probably lives there again after MM until he grows up naturally.
