People spend years building an audience. And 90% of the time they are exceptionally skilled at whatever it is they focus in on.
Nevermind the incredible amount of work required to build a non streaming audience as well on places like YouTube, which is almost certainly required if you really want to grow.

I don’t really watch live streams, but I do follow a few streamers on YouTube. There’s plenty of streamers whose content doesn’t pertain to children but can still create engaging content and are worth the occasional donation. I personally enjoy MoistCritikal’s content.
