No you cannot.
Dont think its possible, the reason is to prevent to play copies of disks I think although I am not sure... I never tried it .
Has nothing to do with that, and everything to do with the fact that the Xbox does not support external optical drives. The only exception was the HD-DVD drive for the 360, but even then that only played HD-DVD movies.
That does make sense that that would be the reason they wouldn’t allow that though.
An external disc drive is not going to work but it might be possible to use an external hard drive to move the files from one console to another. I have an OG One and recently got a Series X. I had a bunch of games on a USB hard drive and when I plugged it in the X recognized them and didn't require redownloading.
