Financial planning and analytics for a company that owns and operates nursing homes
Hire me? Lol
As someone who works in a nursing home, I can’t help but wonder if you work for the company that owns our nursing home. Most of our residents are Medicade and Medicare.
Ditto. You'd think that being high disqualifies you from having a serious career and earning a butt load of money. Nope.
Second year CS rn, getting my ass handed to me. U living my dream bro, this motivated me
You got this bro. Once you get in the industry you'll be able to work from home and smoke weed all day lol
Yea, gonna grind out these semesters then work on my portfolio over the summer, my goal is to find coop placements for the third year 🙏 thank you guys
You got this, I've never coded a thing in my life, gonna start learning on Reddit this weak lol, keep going man
Found my people.
I'm a character performer at a certain theme park where I play a certain character who hangs out in a van with his dog and solves mysteries with his friends. Smoking counts as character research.
Edit: since this got a little traction I do wanna clarify that I've never been high at work. Being high, pretending to be someone I'm not, and surrounded by strangers sounds like a nightmare.
I may have seen you a couple weeks ago! that was my favorite show as a kid so I got unreasonably excited when I saw they have y’all there
lol, saw someone that may or may not have been you, at a certain place that rhymes with spooniversal.
Deliver pizza lol
Everyone except my manager at my dominos smokes pretty much lol
Me tooo man
What pizza delivery guy isn't? XD
Student recently finished college with no direction or meaning
Edit: Jesus I fit a stereotype don’t i
omg that'll be me in like 4 months, hang in there homie 💀
That'll be me in one more year
I’m 33 and that’s still me
Lmao that was me then Covid immediately hit like 2 months later (grad was Dec 2019) shitttt the lack of meaning and direction fucked me up. Fell into hard drugs real bad
I’m sorry mate how you doing now better?
Eh marginally… in sober living atm 😂
Lol thanks for asking you?
I work as a paramedic. I think it is a fascinating job but you really have to be careful about how much weed you consume because you need to stay focused at all times.
Former medic here. How often do you have to worry about tests? One of the best medics I ever knew got fired for popping hot on a random, it was really awful. I was always too scared to use cannabis when I was still in the field, was too worried about random testing.
What’s it like being a paramedic? Always heard crazy stories
Currently a manufacturing quality engineer but I'm switching to industrial engineering in January wish me luck on my drug test!
Ayy good luck, I'm a machinist. Pls don't be the guy who makes shitty prints 😂
Oh no I'm the guy who yells at product development in meetings cause they made a bad print. "How the fuck do you expect us to make this when the tolerances overlap each other?!"
I hate this so much, what's even better is critical dimensions being non existent
I understood y'all until you got to critical dimensions lmao
Sell the shit
Hell yeah hopefully you keep some exotics
ofc I do :) but it’s not my main market. I pick up a pound (or five) of brick weed from B.C. and re package and $ell that
Buyin it DIIIRRRTTT cheap so it’s a good way to make bank ;)
Aye self snitching 🤙🏻🤙🏻 smart bro
Lol everyone in Canada get their packs from BC it's nothing new 😂 the fact is nobody gives a shit so why should we be secretive? Life is good up here in Canada (at least weed-wise)
What’s a $300 usd Canadian ounce of zaza likr
Unit Manager at a Residential Treatment Facility for children and adolescents with mental and behavioral problems 👌🏻
What kind of mental and behavioral problems are the most common on the children you work with?
In the past few years I’ve met a lot of parents with kids with autism, really bad anxiety and depression, ADHD and other things, so I’m really wondering what is affecting kids the most
I'm a civil engineer and I dab daily lmao
does it affect your performance?
Probably doesn’t if he still is an engineer lol
I'm also an engineer although in a different field. I want to know how long can you dab everyday and be fine. Maybe I'm just being anxious but I'm concerned about my weed usage. I want to see how other people are doing so I can get a better picture
Some people are very functional even while high on dabs, I personally find that I perform better in skateboarding when I’m high as opposed to being sober.
I think he probably just does his engineer work then takes hella dabs after work, it’s literally like how the rest of the population drinks when they get home.
Yeah I never go to work high. It's not enjoyable for me at all cuz I get anxious
I sell + architect tech all day high asf so I think it's just a tolerance thing
I work in cannabis cultivation 🙏🏽
I work in a related field, cannabis consumption.
I am a workaholic.
But honestly just go out there and look, I was a lil nervous moving from healthcare to cultivation but now looking back it was a no brainer. Apply apply apply and don’t be shy to say you have black market experience, without that there’d be no legal market now
How’d you originally get into this field and what got you there? If u don’t mind me askin
Was also gonna ask the same
Sometimes you just have to walk to it yourself
Thank you for your service
You ever take the free pianos off Craigslist’s and fix em up for money?
That sounds so sick!!
I like it a lot. I specialize in mechanical Player Pianos, if you’ve never seen one I highly encourage YouTube videos of them!
I make dabs. I do what I love!
I'm a bartender. After a long shift, nothing beats a joint
Same!!! Getting ready for a 4pm-2am shift now. Can’t wait to smoke after!
Have a good shift man. Don't forget to blaze it up afterwards
HVAC & journeyman work is where it’s at.
Small Animal Massage Therapist
That's my job, I work at a canine only facility but I'm licensed with the health department and everything...as a dog massage therapist.
Amazing. My aunt had a very high-strung standard poodle and she took some animal massage workshops and regular massages totally changed his behavior, it was amazing.
Going from muzzled massage to having a dog completely trust you is an unreal feeling.
This is now my dream job
that's so damn cool! I didn't know such thing existed
I often joke that I am a professional dog petter, bit its super rewarding and way less stressful than a lot of other jobs in the animal industry
Stoners always give the doggies the best pets whenever they come over so I very much approve of your job choice
Half the employees are very green friendly.
how’s the pay? my boyfriend has been interested in the field for a while. do you work for a vet or have your own practice? sorry for all the questions! c:
I make more than a vet tech, with a lot less stress. I work at a rehab facility and I am state licensed and board certified, I believe Washington state is the only state that requires both. I have worked at a zoo and a dairy and rehab absolutely comes out on top. A few of my co workers are still LVTs and actively work in clinics but it's just not for me. I could make more potentially having my own practice/ mobile massage but my boss has relationships with a huge amount of vets in the county, and she's got the building and the business insurance. I can answer more questions if you have them so feel free and ask away.
How does one get into this? I've wanted to be a dog trainer but this seems way less intense. Do you have dogs with behavior issues? Did you have to go to school for this?
NBCAAM is probably the best place to start. I do work with dogs with behavior issues but I specialize in rehabilitation. School was 400 hours with 2 week long practical exams, the national board exam and my state exam. I can answer any other questions you have if you like.
Oh my god, what a dream job! You pet dogs for a living!
That sounds amazing. Helping animals feel relaxed and loved. So sweet
Most of my clients are seniors or post surgery and it's great to see progress. Love my frosty pups
Inventory and Procurement for a dispo
That is dope
damn that’s a profession? how do u even do that
You tree climb with a little chainsaw clipped to your belt
Nice! I run heavy equipment at a tree farm and we partner with a climbing company. Tough work.
Ah you’re our favorite type of business we dump all our chips and log lengths at nurserys in our surrounding area and in turn if we come in we get heaaaavy discounts off all their stuff because they end up banking off what we give them we don’t charge them and they don’t charge us because essentially free dumping for us and free money for them
I came to see if one of my own was on here. Stay safe flushedthrower!
Damn, that sounds dope can you tell me more about it, what you do exactly, any qualifications needet?
I climb into the canopy of trees with ropes pulleys a bunch of gear and remove damaged limbs, dead wood all the way to full removals of trees it’s residential work so it’s always up to the homeowner and what my boss agree to on the contracts no I mean an arborists license could be needed for some but at the place I work at it’s just incentive for more money we also do sprays and fertilization those you need applicator license for but for most companies they’ll just train on sight
5***** hotel’s manager 😂

I’m a finance manager for a lending company. I like it. It’s a bit boring. Sometimes I’d like to have a job that’s not at a desk.
Trade you a couple week of industrial maintenance. A week at a desk sounds nice. Wouldn't want it much longer than that tho.
Artist a positive test for THC is required I love my job
how’d you land that gig???
Work in IT :)
Everyone in IT would have a mental breakdown at some point if it wasn’t for weed lol
Is becoming a programmer difficult? Do I *really* need college to become one? How long would it take for me to become cognisant of the ins and outs of programming? Question to all who programme, thanks.
Coding bootcamp is all I needed. I was able to quit my day job and become a full stack developer. I can’t really judge if it is hard or not. For some it might be overwhelming while for others a piece of cake. Long story short and 3 year later, I work full time at a gaming company while building my startup. I SMOKE THE ENTIRE DAY AND LOVING EVERY FING SINGLE SECOND OF MY DAY. SO FCK THE TEACHERS WHO MIGHT TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN OR CANT DO.
Damn. A day of just smoking weed and doing a job you enjoy. Heaven. If I may ask, how long did the boot camp take you, and how much do you make rn?
Bootcamp took me 3 months but I never actually finished studying or building projects for another year (like, awe-inspiring projects).
I make somewhere like 90k USD yearly. My startup got me less than 10k, but little by little, it will get there!
Some days I code from 9 am to midnight without even feeling it's over. I enjoy solving issues when high.
Yeah your start up definitely going places, it’s clearly got a level head at the helm. And hol up... 3 months of boot camp and your raking in sub 6 figures?? Sign me up wtf
It wasnt not all shitz and giggles; I built an app deployed to app stores JUST as my ‘look at me!’ project; it caught the eye of a few recruiters. And wouldnt be if I didn't study and work my ass off every day untilq the night.
Oh so you need a significant project to catch the eye of major companies??
Yeah, especially if you don't have a degree in CS to show, the next best thing is showing off how much work you can handle, how much the project is in the scale of complexity, and of course - the project is live, deployed, and running, just because recruiters might try it out before they reach out.
Also, have a show-off portfolio site - a must!
If you are interested, i could recommend a path to MERN stack, is you want more info feel free to PM
