Your manager literally said you can have the days off…. Also you can’t be fired for missing days unless you just don’t use any ppto and get over 5 points by missing those days.
That’s not what the manager said. The manager said OP could work their normal schedule. If the manager told OP that, manager probably expects OP to be at work. Can’t get pointed for it, but there’s definitely room for backlash if OP is expected to be there and isn’t.
If you aren’t on the schedule then you’re fine to stay home
