My favourite games of all time, these guys have a special place in my heart <3 if you got some good recommendations that you think I'd like, shoot them here.
Great! If you get ever end up getting stuck, the subreddit for the game is a good resource to ask for help, but I strongly advise against not looking at any of the other posts until you finish the game and DLC.
Outer Wilds was going to be my suggestion too! Also I'd like to add an extra note: in my mind, there are some amazing games that give a uniformly wonderful experience throughout - and of course they work best if completed, but it's also not a huge deal if you don't get to the ending.
Outer Wilds is not one of those games. I say from experience: it *really* needs to be played and *finished* in order to get the full experience.
so many good games on this list, esp omori, persona 4 golden, botw
trying to save up for persona 3 portable rn, just beat persona 4 and excited to eventually get persona 5 royal 😅
I would it’s just HE KILLS ME EVERY TIMEEE I wish I knew what could be upgraded for each character like the hero’s bat for example you can upgrade that more then three times
That was a long battle for me since I didn’t have the best classes at the time. The best ones to me were Hero for Ichiban and Saeko as an idol for healing but I unfortunately had Saeko in her Matriarch job. What helped was getting Eri and making all the men go through the fortune teller class so they could all revive people.
I can't believe another /s was needed.... anyways I was making a joke about how yous aid it was the best game ever, but you haven't played every game ever
Since I saw Omori, Ace Attorney and Okami, I would like to recommend you some "detective"/investigation anime games, like: The **Zero Escape** series (there's visual novel too) and **Danganronpa** (also visual novel).
Also, due to Persona 4 Golden being on your list, I world recommend you **Shin Megami Tensei III Nocture** (If you like it a little more challenging), **Persona 5 Royal** (turn-based RPG) and maybe **Ni no Kuni**.
I already played Persona 3 on my vita a long time ago but I had no chance to play Persona 5, now that it's finally on pc I can play but it's very expensive in my country, impossible to get even so I will wait for a sale and till I have the money, it's actually my most wanted game right now because I love the series so much!
Nice characters! Yeah, I actually agree with you on Zero Escape being really weird, in my case I would say that I liked it because of its weirdness. Another game which is similar to Danganronpa is **Your Turn to Die** (YTTD), I think you can play it for free on the official website and it's also on Steam (unfortunatelly, it's paid on Steam).
I like your picks. We pretty much have the same taste. I used to like any of the RPGs from Squaresidr / Enix such as Final Fantasy and similar. And recently, Far Cry , Assassin's Creed and Fallout 4.
I'm also trying to find really goodbpost apocyptic games. I just viewed a review of Mad Max and read a review of Days One or such. I just wish I Chronoi Trigger was affordable. There are also some systems that have SNES, Sega, Nintendo, Atari, and/or other games, which may be good.
You have good taste, we like a lot of similar things! And this list made me even more excited to play Like a Dragon (which I’ll get to once I beat 4-6!)
Outriders is alot of fun if you like shooters mixed with rpg. New to it but lots ways to build and its super fast paced shooter. Also it's free with the ps plus premium. There's a second South Park game also after Stick of Truth another great game. Binding of Isaac is also a strong reccomendation I give to most my favorite indie rogue like.
Outriders looks like something I'd like, and yes I already played the fractured butt whole, they are both incredible games but stick of truth takes the cake for me.
Half-life and Half-Life 2 - We have oddly similar tastes, also a person of culture i see. However, my favorite of all time is Earthbound, which you also may throughly enjoy. And if you do - give Mother 3 a college try. That game was an emotional roller coaster of epic proportion.
That’s a terrible reason not to get it. Most first playthrus are real time 10-15hrs, making it about as long as Doom, the game clock only counts the segmented run so if you game clock on the first run says 8hrs you probably have 10+. It’s not too short, it’s as long as most action games are.
On top of that it’s the most replayable game ever, I
Have 150hrs in it, and I am still hooked. Once you master the mechanics and sequence break the game completely transforms and is just an absolute blast. The fact that once you master it you can book thru it so fast is part of why it’s replay-able, it immediately is fun and there is no filler and no long commitment, just pure adventure platform action. 100% must play.
you have no idea how much I did not like this one xd, It's a good game I just did not vibe with it, I prefer Ori, Haiku, Metroid, Bloodstained, Messenger much more haha
Quite a diverse list! Also is Mega Man 2 purely there for nostalgia reasons? I couldn’t get into it but love X.
The rest on the list all hold up quite well.
I wouldn't say you are completely wrong xd, I could be blinded by nostalgia in that Megaman 2 is the one I played the most as a child and still listen to its OST anywhere I go, I beat it so many times I lost count, but I still played the entire megaman series except for 7 and 8, I loved 10 but 2 still is my favourite.
Megaman X however I only played the 1st and 4th one, they are both great however classic is what got me into the series.
Now we wait the battle network collection :)
I've played Yoshi's Island and I loved it but Banjo did not age very well for me despite me liking the ost from that game and I never had a playstation to try bloodborne lol
Like A Dragon really?! Ugh. I got the 4th character in my party and started to get burned out. I loved how ridiculous it was but I could not get into it
It's one of those games where everything clicks at some point and you can beat it with little help, but yeah it's extremely confusing the first few times
you have no idea how much I did not like this one xd, It's a good game I just did not vibe with it, I prefer Ori, Haiku, Metroid, Bloodstained, Messenger much more haha
Omori!
If you haven’t played it already, I highly recommend Outer Wilds, but if you do play it please make sure to avoid spoilers!
my friend gifted me that one! will play it soon.
Great! If you get ever end up getting stuck, the subreddit for the game is a good resource to ask for help, but I strongly advise against not looking at any of the other posts until you finish the game and DLC.

don't worry! the friend who gifted me the game has great taste as well so I'm sure I will enjoy it and complete it!
Based Persona 4 enjoyer 😎
Elden ring, also try beyond two souls if you liked Detroit
A fellow Titanfall 2 fan I see
Masterpiece. Both campaign and multi-player.
I will never forgive Apex for robbing us of Titanfall 3... Good for Respawn I guess, but Apex just isn't the same.
so many good games on this list, esp omori, persona 4 golden, botw trying to save up for persona 3 portable rn, just beat persona 4 and excited to eventually get persona 5 royal 😅
I never beaten like a dragon as I got stuck on the first boss in the tower
please finish it, it's the best game ever 😭
I would it’s just HE KILLS ME EVERY TIMEEE I wish I knew what could be upgraded for each character like the hero’s bat for example you can upgrade that more then three times
Is it against >!Tendo?!<
Y es I think it’s been awhile since I played it as I raged quit
That was a long battle for me since I didn’t have the best classes at the time. The best ones to me were Hero for Ichiban and Saeko as an idol for healing but I unfortunately had Saeko in her Matriarch job. What helped was getting Eri and making all the men go through the fortune teller class so they could all revive people.
Have you played every other game ever made??? Than how is it the best game ever????? /s I haven't even played it LMAO
yes I played the entire series
I can't believe another /s was needed.... anyways I was making a joke about how yous aid it was the best game ever, but you haven't played every game ever
Nioh 2
I played the first one but felt it was very unbalanced to be fun, my friend will be streaming the second one very soon.
Nioh 2 is better in every way, an endlessly replayable masterpiece imo. Love seeing the love for Like a Dragon!
Since I saw Omori, Ace Attorney and Okami, I would like to recommend you some "detective"/investigation anime games, like: The **Zero Escape** series (there's visual novel too) and **Danganronpa** (also visual novel).

I already played Danganronpa, my favourite characters are Gonta and Toko. I wanted to get into Zero Escape but it felt too weird for me xd.

I will check that out! Thank you for the suggestion!
I'd recommend the entire god of war franchise, especially the Norse games
Seconded. If you like bayonetta, I think you’ll like the older god of war games as well. The core loop felt v similar to me
I think you may like Dead Cells
I beat it a lot of times lol
On 5BC?
I thought 4BC was max
Nope! Make sure you get the Rise of the Giant DLC. It’s free and adds a bunch of content. And it has 5BC
Fuckin love tropical freeze
Excellent list
Thank you!!
im just so happy to see RDR2 seems to be on so many lists
The only thing wrong is that it isn't in the number one slot. But that can be forgiven. Great list.
I like your picks. We pretty much have the same taste. I used to like any of the RPGs from Squaresidr / Enix such as Final Fantasy and similar. And recently, Far Cry , Assassin's Creed and Fallout 4. Try Elden ring or Destiny 2
oh I played a lot of Destiny 2 when it was on battlenet, I liked it.
Have you tried Elden ring?
no actually I'm not very into souls games xd
Me either, but trust me, you might really enjoy it.
You have good taste, we like a lot of similar things! And this list made me even more excited to play Like a Dragon (which I’ll get to once I beat 4-6!)
it's so good, get ready for one of the best experiences ever!
We have similar taste in games. If you haven't tried Chrono Cross or Vagrant Story, they're both PS1 gems that deserve a shot.
I haven't played Chrono Cross yet, but now I will!
Awesome. I know everyone says this about every RPG, but the music in Chrono Cross is so, so freaking good. Hope you enjoy.
Jackpot!!
MIDNIGHT CALLING, MIST OF RESOLVING!
Pokemon platinum :)
the best one :)
Best list I’ve seen for A) having a resident evil game, B) having a bioshock game, and C) having a South Park game
Thank youu, I've played all the games in those mentioned series, they all are very good games.
Lego Star Wars the complete saga, grand theft auto San Andreas, and red dead redemption 1
I love San Andreas but I have no way of playing rdr1 as of now, we await the remake xd
Shadow of the colossus.
I wish it was on pc man
I want to play re village but haven’t gotten around to it :/
HOTLINE MIAMI SUPREMACY
Outriders is alot of fun if you like shooters mixed with rpg. New to it but lots ways to build and its super fast paced shooter. Also it's free with the ps plus premium. Give outriders a go its very much like alot of the games you like.
Stick of truth!! Yes! So much fun!
Minecraft and elden ring
Damn bro. That’s a solid list. I fuck with it
Sonic Mania love to see it, and Mega Man 2 OST is so good and Celeste is just simply wonderful :)
Yessss I love the Megaman 2 ost sooo much!
Try *Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice*
Fallout New Vegas, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Command and Conquer series, and Child of Light are some great game I highly reccomend
Ah, Titanfall 2, one of the best campaign ever for me
Me when I see Mario and legend of Zelda : I trust this man with my life
Half-life and Half-Life 2 - We have oddly similar tastes, also a person of culture i see. However, my favorite of all time is Earthbound, which you also may throughly enjoy. And if you do - give Mother 3 a college try. That game was an emotional roller coaster of epic proportion.
I LOVE MOTHER 3 LUCAS IS MY HOMIE, I played Half life 1 ages ago but never got around to HL2 because I'm waiting for some sort of remaster.
Oh good! HL2 still holds up incredibly well. Worth a try on steam if you have a PC.
added to my wishlist!
Finally! A list with a VR game. Props on HLA. Resident evil 8 plays great in VR too
the ending was so beautiful
Nice to see Borderlands and South Park making the list, don’t see those too often and they’re some of my favourites
Terraria is easily my favorite game of all time
Doom Eternal, Tropical Freeze!? A man of Culture Gotta play Metroid Dread
You're killing me man, not the first to mention it I want to play it but it feels too short for it's price 😭
That’s a terrible reason not to get it. Most first playthrus are real time 10-15hrs, making it about as long as Doom, the game clock only counts the segmented run so if you game clock on the first run says 8hrs you probably have 10+. alright I'm sold, will get it when I have the money, just to make sure, the last 2D metroid I played is Super Metroid, that's fine right?
It reviews the events of Fusion in the opening so yea it’s fine.
Donkey Kong country 2... I know I'm insane
played dkc 1-5 lol
Based on Yakuza, I would strongly suggest the Shenmue series. They are what Sega made before Yakuza. Same style of gameplay.
Is this sub ever gonna be good again
Wow mr negative really had to comment huh But I listened to ur music it’s pretty good!
Sleeping dogs
I never tried that one, which one do I start with?
I think it's just the one you can usually find the definitive edition on sale.
Hollow Knight
you have no idea how much I did not like this one xd, It's a good game I just did not vibe with it, I prefer Ori, Haiku, Metroid, Bloodstained, Messenger much more haha
I couldn't get into ori. I really liked Bloodstained, tho. Have you tried Celeste?
yes it's no.31 lol
Quite a diverse list! Also is Mega Man 2 purely there for nostalgia reasons? I couldn’t get into it but love X. The rest on the list all hold up quite well.
I wouldn't say you are completely wrong xd, I could be blinded by nostalgia in that Megaman 2 is the one I played the most as a child and still listen to its OST anywhere I go, I beat it so many times I lost count, but I still played the entire megaman series except for 7 and 8, I loved 10 but 2 still is my favourite. Ever play Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner? My personal favorite PS2 title..
I never even knew about it, looks amazing!
Have you tried Bloodborne, Banjo Kazooie, or Yoshi's Island?
I've played Yoshi's Island and I loved it but Banjo did not age very well for me despite me liking the ost from that game and I never had a playstation to try bloodborne lol
What app/site is pictured here?
backloggd
Metroid Dread! Also, what did you make this list on?
backloggd, I really wanna try Dread but I hear it is very short so I don't know about putting 60$ on it xd
Unrelated but what app/website you used to make this list?
backloggd
Thank you!
Like A Dragon really?! Ugh. I got the 4th character in my party and started to get burned out. I loved how ridiculous it was but I could not get into it
What is this website called
it's backloggd
yakuza 7 as no 1 but no other yakuza game on the list....
check no.35, I also like Yakuza 4
What ranking app is this?
backloggd
Damn that was quick. Thanks
How do you make this format? Is there a website for creating this sheet?
yes it's called backloggd
Horizon zero dawn
Dk country 2 Diddy kings quest, much better then the first game imo
I liked it but, there's no Donkey Kong man xd

Nice list! Ever tried Dragon quest or Fire emblem?
I played DQ V, planning on playing XI soon
DQ XI is awesome! Hope you like it!
The lack of terraria is brazy
I've played it multiple times but I was too young I felt lost in what to do, I might finish it some day lol
It's one of those games where everything clicks at some point and you can beat it with little help, but yeah it's extremely confusing the first few times
ELDEN RING O ELDEN RING
Hollow Knight
you have no idea how much I did not like this one xd, It's a good game I just did not vibe with it, I prefer Ori, Haiku, Metroid, Bloodstained, Messenger much more haha
HOLLOW KNIGHT

backloggd
