The sexiest english accent is southern accent.
By - etompis
Brummy without a doubt for me - now *that’s* an unpopular opinion
I can only assume you're deaf
The sexiest English accent is an American one?
And the second best English accent is a French accent
This is surprising?
Even better are all the variations of the “southern” accents..
People from Louisiana sound nothing like people from Arkansas, and people from Arkansas sound nothing like people from Alabama, and people from Alabama sound nothing like people from Tennessee
They even vary within the states, NC has a lot of variations which are easy to discern.
People from East TN sound nothing like those from West TN.
Wrong, Irish is the sexiest English accent.
When you can understand.
Which one? We could be talking Essex or North London here for all I know.
Yorkshire Yorkshire Yorkshire..
I wish I could give you 3 upvotes
Just not South Yorkshire or Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough is not Yorkshire
Yes it is, it’s North Yorkshire
Have a google of it lad. It might border Teesside but for all intents and purposes it’s in Yorkshire.
Actually it’s in the north-east
The north-east of….England? Well done. So are other parts of North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and the Humber.
But it’s not classed as Yorkshire
But it is…
Out of all the southerners I’ve heard I only really find Matthew McConaughey’s voice sexy
That would be an East Texas, Southern Accent.
Definitely unpopular. Well done.
Love a Caribbean accent.
FINALLY SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME!!! (No I am not antivax or redneck or anything)
Do you know there is multiple English accents
I'm guessing they must to have a preference for one
It’s probably the one where they thinkI drink tea all day and eat crumpets
I seen all yall yella bellies talkin sheeit about good ol Texas. Yall wouldn't know yer ass from a hole in the ground! Now go on, GIT!
I could feel brain cells withering reading that.
Lol i promise most people in Texas don't talk like that
I can't fuck with it at all. The accent just instantly makes me think of uneducated hicks
Kind of discriminatory
We get a lot of crap for having a “hick” accents in the south so it’s so nice to see this. I bet your have a lovely accent as well - from Georgia
I never thought I’d agree but I do. I did after the first time I heard a very attractive person say “yes ma’am” to me on a tinder date. I’m like…okay who am I now lol
I absolutely agree
I got happy for a second until I realised you meant southern US, and not southern England. Enjoy your cowboy accent.
I raise you the Columbian accent
This guy knows... 😁
That's an American accent. Accents are from locations, not languages. An English accent would need to be one of the ones from, well, England.
But americans speak...english
A French person who speaks English would still have a French accent. English people have English accents. Americans have American accents. They still speak the English language
No, they speak American, obviously.
Yes, they do. Gold star for you. But again, Accents are from regions, not languages.
Someone help me translate the word pedantic from American to English for this asshole
But…there are more specific accents based on location within American. Unless you honestly think people from California, New York, and Alabama all sound the same
"Yeehaw brotha! We don't care 'bout no covid down here"
That's an American accent.
Also not unpopular, Southern States accents are generally considered pretty, if people can get over their classism.
BTW French is a language, not an English accent.
I think OP’s referring to how the French sound when they speak English.
So a French accent, which isn't an English accent.
But there are multiple subsets to an “American” accent, which is why OP specified southern
Yes American accents, not English ones.
There are multiple English accents and none of them are from America. They're from England.
England is a country in the Atlantic Archipelago Islands off the coast of France and Holland if you're confused.
Weirdish question, but are you from Australia? I've witnessed enough Australian women saying they love American southern accents that it wouldn't surprise me to find it's sort of a cultural norm to romanticize/sexualize them.
Nope, north east europe.
Hi I’m from Texas
Gimme a girl with a kiwi accent and I'll go weak in the knees. Irish accent is up there to.
Bless your heart...
I like the Ukrainian and Swedish accents
I like how Spaniards speak english. Penelopy Cruz for example. So sexy
Irish and the proper educated Oxford English are the best. I'm Finnish so I am sort of unbiased.
A lot of southern accents can sound good. Alabama and I believe Georgia are probably the nicest to me.
The only American Ive met was from Georgia. I guess thats the southern I mean specifically.
Agreed. Both states have that soft drawl, at least the folks I’ve met.
i think any desi accent sounds hot. Just a little bit. I'm kinda indecisive but yeah
I agree 100%!! Hands down! 🙌
There is NOTHING sexier 🤤.
French is apparently an English accent now, who knew?
I think your ears are broken 🤔
