Honestly, it kinda pissed me off that none of the people that previously bullied John exist anymore. Its like uru just waved a magic wand and placed all the blame on John and ignored the people who legit attacked him
Eh. They're not important to plot. They were just one off characters. The only bullies that I can think of the were reoccurring characters was tanner, gavin, winqre, and abble but even then they showed up 3 times tops
But they were. They were the catalyst for John hating the heirarchy and his main motivations. For the story to just pretend they don't exist and act like John is going too far for no reason is just bad writing. Pretty important to the plot if you ask me. It's like if in dragon ball at the end of the saiyan saga, Vegeta would have never appeared in the story again. There's a disconnect when clear characters that were always there suddenly go missing the second the main character starts fighting back
...that wasn't even my point. Also they've served they're purpose no reason to bring them back. Vegeta is a poor example because he still had a lot of room to grow and still had a purpose to serve in the anime which is why he kept appearing. They weren't made to be a side characters just made to be a main villan they just existed to progress the story by being the bullies to push john over the edge mean while Vegeta was the main villan of the first season of dragon ball z and the entire point of his character was to be Goku's rival which of we'er comparing to unO would make him more similar to Arlo who is supposed to be Johns opposite/rival which would make Vegeta part of the mc (which he kind of is) not a side character.
Vegeta did have a lot of room to grow, and could serve a purpose in the story. So could the mid tiers. They all have room to grow and could easily serve a purpose in the school, for example, it doesn't have to be this, but they could confront John to tell him that they are sorry. They obviously are side characters, but so is Zeke, and he keeps showing up in the story. Why not them? Why weren't they in the safe house along with the others trying to make a change? It would be easy to fit them in, and it would add a new dynamic to the story. They aren't even mentioned, nor appear. They just kinda don't exist anymore
Becuase they're not important to the plot. And zeke isn't very important either. He's showed up less and less since unO's return. Unlike Zegeta in dragon ball z
