So from what I gather, he’s a versatile left sided player who was more of an attacker, but was converted into a left wing back. Got a hell of an engine apparently, and looking at his highlights he has a wicked left foot. Takes a lot of free kicks and corners which is usually a sign of quality; he’s got a great cross. I assume he’ll be down in T2, no?
One and only real downside I see for him right now is that he's extremely one footed, all the highlights I see of him, he relies on his left foot and left foot only.
Like you said though, his left foot is absolutely wicked, and if we play him anywhere on the left side, it likely won't be too big of an issue.
Definitely hope we sign him to a contract and get him playing for our second team ASAP.
I'm not even sure T2 is a thing at this point. They went on hiatus for 2021 and I still haven't heard anything about them. You can't even access their sub-site on the Timbers website anymore. And their direct URL just links to the post about going on hiatus.
Hopefully someone else knows more about what's happening to enlighten us on the status of T2.
Oh geez. I totally forgot about MLS Next and MLS Next Pro. What a mess all of this MLS and USL stuff has turned into. Now we have some development teams in USL, and some in this random league that has almost no information about it but is run by MLS.
Good to hear about a rebrand. They needed one after the first season. I don't get how they saw Real Monarchs and other MLS 2 teams that didn't half ass their branding and said "yeah, T2 is good enough".
When I went to their website and it was like "Please turn off your ad blocker", I was like "wut?"
Also, GCU's own David Hague scored a hat trick in the USL days!

they're supposed to be back in 2022 as part of MLS Next Pro (not a joke) supposed to have a rebrand soon as well

Is that what the new "MLS Next Pro" thing is? https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/mls-next-pro-unveils-21-clubs-for-inaugural-season-starting-march-2022
yep.
seems more like a blake bodily (versatile) than a zac mcgraw (big CB). i think they labeled him as a defender just for us, haha
Seems like a left winger converted to a left wing back, as coaches think he has a higher ceiling as an outside back. So yeah sort of similar to Blake
Go Lopes!
