If you’re not cooking with msg you’re missing out

trensetter69

Boutta start using dmaa for my chicken

Roidedupgorillaguy

Goya Adobo seasoning w/ cumin. I stock up on 3 big containers every time I'm in the states. Shit improves everything and has a solid dose of msg as well.

Zoolanderek

Lol ya msg + goya adobo is the exact base for everything that I cook. Add the cumin if I’m going for a Mediterranean or Mexican taste.

Roidedupgorillaguy

It's legit in everything. Tastes great on air popped popcorn w/ valentina salsa.

breauxdle

truth. brings most dishes up a level. and there's 0 evidence of deleterious effects

Quadrasaurus-Rex

This is the truth, I started using it a couple months ago and it’s awesome. Adds a great backing flavor to everything.

faaaack

How do you use it? In place of salt or in addition to your other seasonings?

srdn4

I season normally and add some MSG. Basically a flavor booster

Zoolanderek

I use it in addition to salt/other seasoning. It’s kind of hard to describe, it doesn’t have too much flavor but it gives your food that just mouth watering taste that makes you want to devour it. Pick up a bottle of Accent the next time you’re at the grocery, it just takes a few sprinkles.

ms_degenerate

Use a scant pinch of MSG on anything that's savory. Go very light, it adds a nice amount of umami. Very good for meat and soups. MSG is similar to the savory flavor that makes hard cheese and tomato sauces so fucking delicious.

brave_00

Msg passes your health standards?

ms_degenerate

There's nothing wrong with msg.

brave_00

My mother swore it gave her headaches and I got used to asking for no msg as a kid. Then I stopped eating Chinese because of the oils they use so it became moot. But now I guess I can add some to healthy food and see what’s what. You the best

ms_degenerate

https://www.seriouseats.com/ask-the-food-lab-the-truth-about-msg The whole MSG thing was mostly just hysteria. The article above is a good overview of the science and history of the anti MSG movement.

brave_00

I actually read selfhacked and examine’s articles on it before because I was curious and now for once, I am adding something to my diet rather than removing it due to the science. It’s really about time.

feed_me_your_lapels

Mushrooms have naturally occurring MSG as well.

Stanazolmao

Intermittent fasting working very well. Two double espressos throughout the morning to keep hunger down and energy up. 12 weeks into diet and feeling really flat at times and really good other times

Salty_Indication_503

4 shots of espresso to start the morning? God bless you.

SoniCrossX

There is actually less caffeine in an expresso than in a normal or long coffee

Stanazolmao

My brother bought a really good espresso machine and I was working in a cafe when I started the diet so I'm absolutely spoiled. We got really into speciality beans, getting crazy ones that have tasting notes of raspberry and shit like that

breauxdle

330g egg whites. 120g oats. Blend. cook like pancake. then top with 30g almond butter, and a splenda. cum in your pants

-3than

i’d rather cum on the food, but sure waste good protein and your gains

MedicalTooth9081

Why whites as opposed to whole?

breauxdle

hit the macros i want in the fashion I want

MedicalTooth9081

Fat content or?..

optimizedbeing

I'm gonna try this. Blend the oats and egg whites together in the blender?

breauxdle

Naw. Washing machine

fogftw01

here’s mine: 80g oats, 1 scoop of protein, 40g pumpkin, 300g egg whites, vanilla extract, 6g psyllium husk, sweetener

fogftw01

usually throw in some blueberries if i’m feeling frisky.

Maeng_da_00

Whey has gotten more expensive here (Canada) that its cheaper for me to just get my protein through food exclusively now. It's like $20/lb for whey isolate, and I can get lean pork for $2.50/lb which has 100g of protein. Half the price of the whey, and I can cook it in five minutes. Gonna keep some around for convenience, but my main protein source is just gonna be food for now.

Fetus-Feaster

Got me nervous now. I usually buy 10kg at a time from canadian protein so I haven't seen prices in a while but I'm getting low.

Idontfukncare6969

Jesus Christ they are almost doubled from the last time I bought 3 months ago

Roidedupgorillaguy

Whey prices globally are fucked right now. Raw material prices have like doubled.

LomaSpeedling

I noticed that myself shit has been expensive here for a while now but fucking hell its getting to the point where the gear is cheaper than the basics. Nevermind the extra stuff I used to buy on iherb its all out of stock.

Roidedupgorillaguy

Supply chain is really fucked for a lot of things. A huge amount of herbal and other raws come from Indian and China. I think gear just has a huge profit margin built in usually so a lot of suppliers have been able to eat any small increase in price of steroid raws. Just a theory though.

ms_degenerate

Speaking of supplements from India, even psyllium powder is way more expensive than I remember. That stuff is grown almost exclusively in India.

Roidedupgorillaguy

Yeah it really blows how much the price of everything has shot up, except for gear 😂

reekhadol

Halved fats to 0.2/0.3g per lb since Friday and my energy is dropping fast. I've been told I look better but I put on weight on the scale and my shitting schedule is still irregular, idk.

OTTERSage

Straight up struggling to reach 3600 calories a day. IDK how some of ya'll are pushing 5k and shit

trensetter69

Same I can push to 250 easily but i like to be healthy and be a nice 180-200 lol

trustmeim18

MCT oil in coffee, yogurt, avocados, olives/olive oil in whatever, popcorn w butter, and milk are pretty solid ways to get clean and dense-ish calories. I also sometimes get chicken nuggets from whatever fast food place for a cheat to get my calories. Also, honey in anything is good. Fruit is also easy for me to eat. This is my advice from dealing with an eating disorder my whole life

SJR4815

I can eat 2,000 calories in a meal and I'm 5'9, 180lbs. You're doing something wrong. I made a bagel sandwich last night that was about 1500 calories and pretty reasonable to eat. A good sized sweet potato loaded with butter and maple syrup might come in at 200 carbs, 30g fat. Throw in a chicken thigh and some sauce and thats 1500 calories easy.

OTTERSage

Guess I've been pretty stuck to clean foods for a while now. Going too far away from clean causes me serious stomach and sleep problems

SJR4815

Nothing about a sweet potato with butter and maple syrup isn't clean. About 95% of my diet is meat, vegetables, whole food starches, fruit, nuts and healthy fats. DM me if you need help with stomach problems. I used to have serious trouble with that and working with clients with digestive issues is something I have a lot of experience with.

LeucisticBear

Mk677 has easily added 1000-1500kcal to my daily intake over the first two weeks so far. Definitely worth it if you're having trouble bulking.

LomaSpeedling

I moved my mk677 intake to the morning and christ i never feel satiated just want to keep eating.

LeucisticBear

Yeah it's crazy, today I had 3400 down before dinner. Prob a 5k day and I'll go to bed thinking about food 🤔

MrHallmark

It's not that hard, just space it out. I'm on 4500, my highest was 5200. Breakfast at 9am, Shake + Oatmeal at 1pm during work out 1.5 scoops of karbolyn, 5pm dinner, + protein bar. 7pm shake + protein bar. 9pm last amount of food (usually my highest carb wise).

-3than

Bro tip: add a protein shake to your meals. If you had enough food it’ll slow it down, you should absorb everything

SJR4815

Nearing 2 weeks of my no carb ultra low cal rest day, ultra high carb workout day experiment and so far, this shit has been great. Weight is all over the place because of glycogen stores and food volume changes but strength is still going up, body fat may even be dropping. too hard to tell yet but eating 700-800 carbs is fun so...

Dry_Bake_8689

Started saving carbs for later in the day. Keeps cravings down. Also my go to cheat meal recently been Zaxbys. Salads are like 500 cals and you can add grilled chicken

Roidedupgorillaguy

I eat the bulk of my calories postworkout in the evening and at night. Small Preworkout meal and then I eat the rest of my meals before bed. Keeps me feeling satisfied even on 2500 calories.

dbolisher98

For a bulk what is a good goal rate for lbs gained per week?? Using MacroFactor for tracking and I’m thinking .5-1lb per week for gain to minimize some fat gain, but I’d like to hear some other thoughts. I’m thinking of running with 200+ cals in the beginning and then evaluating to bump higher if need be.

LeucisticBear

A pound per week is the gold standard that seems to optimize growth both with and without gear. The classic physique guys tend to stay leaner year round and often have smaller surpluses, usually with "lean bulk" macros of high protein and low fat like you'd see in a cut. So either is possible but smaller surpluses mean potentially less gains. Absolutely nothing wrong with starting at 200 and adding more as you go.

dbolisher98

This comment nailed it for me! Thanks man!

[deleted]

No more than a half pound per week, I would only increase in 100 calorie increments. If you go up 300+ calories make sure you add volume to your training and train hard af. Focus on how the increase calories effect your maximum recoverable volume and strength instead of just weight. (I’m natty so I have no experience in how AAS change the rate of perceived progress.)

KyIeJ

Hit me with all air fryer recipes

smallanklecrew

Ground up a chicken breast, roll them into balls and flatten them, coat each side in panko bread crumbs, 400 degree for 8-10mins and you just made easy healthy crispy chicken nuggies

dward27

Someone posted [this](https://nomnompaleo.com/) neat site recently and you can filter the recipes by air fryer.

kareem6aces

So I just hopped on my first ever cycle on rad140 1 week in. I was already bulking up eating in a surplus of 2600cals a day. Should I increase it more since im on rad or maintain? I’ve been gaining already nice and steady weight every week before rad.

Dbol504

I dare say you need to drop that surplus way back. If you gain a half pound of muscle a week on a cycle that’s incredible gains and takes a piddly 300 calorie a day surplus tops. 2600 a day is a short path to being a fat, failed lifter that’s looks nothing like a bodybuilder.

kareem6aces

Sorry for my miscommunication. My maintenance is about 2100, and I’ve been eating 2600. Been gaining slow and steady over the past few months without rad.

Crocune

Probably means they're eating 2600cals total, and it's leaving them in a surplus...

MedicalTooth9081

Eating in a surplus of 2600 calories as in 2600 over maintenance, or eating 2600 calories total?

kareem6aces

My maintenance is about 2100, and I’ve been eating 2600. Been gaining slow and steady over the past few months without rad.

LeucisticBear

If you're gaining at a rate that makes you happy why change it?

glk1320

My advice is hop off the rad 140, i did one 8 weeks cycle and test was shut down for two months when got bloods done, the side effects and what it does to your hormones are not worth the results you get. Stop being afraid of needles and hop on test e less side effects and tons more results.(ik this isnt nutrition but i hate to see people getting on sarms and fing up their hormones when test is so much better)

brandonab84

ANYONE who is familiar with blood work and managing it, my free test and estradiol are high after a ostarine sarms cycle and PCT with rebirth. any idea on how to manage the estradiol safely? Brain fog and lethargy are getting bad

JimJimmaJome

>after a ostarine sarms cycle and PCT with rebirth You used a vitamin supplement as a PCT, or you used the rebirth supplement alongside your PCT? What’d your pre-sarm bloodwork look like?

brandonab84

no, rebirth is all i used. maybe what i read was wrong but from what i could see since ostarine is less suppressive rebirth was OK. i don’t want to tank my estrogen but i don’t want it to be high either. should i use something to lower it? and how long and what dosage?

MedicalTooth9081

How high is your E2 and test? What makes you think its E2 causing the symptoms?

brandonab84

my total test is 814 ng/dl, my free test is 182.3 pg/ml, and my e2 is 52 pg/ml, and i don’t know for a fact but it seems it may be the reason. you think it could be?

Anadrool

Damn my E2 is 51 with my total T at 1461 and I felt a bit high in estrogen. If you can get access to it, Aromasin is good but strong, start with half or a quarter of a tablet and wait a few days.

brandonab84

just use one or? i just don’t want to tank my estrogen. Safer the better, i just want to have my hormones balanced. and your T being that high, are you using TRT?

Anadrool

Yeah just one 25 mg tablet. 25 mg is a lot from my experience, a quarter of that should be safe if it turns out to take you too low. A little too low if fine, you want to avoid tanking it because that'll put you out for a good couple weeks. I recently upped dose to 175mg/week, and ended up responding a lot stronger than I anticipated lol

LeucisticBear

Those numbers aren't unreasonable. Definitely a bit high e2 but I personally feel just fine up into the 80s. Ostarine isn't something most of us know much about, but some people experience general malaise coming off blast. It could be that.

brandonab84

true. I just want everything to be balanced how it should be to rule out any causation. do you think i should use something to balance it out or just let my body figure it out over time?

grandeman2

Who’s many calories in surplus should i be eating on a bulk?

Salty_Indication_503

200-500 calories.

SJR4815

10% increase to start. Measure weight gain and gym progress. When that stalls, bump up by 10% again. Keep doing that until you get fat and then bump up the dose of drugs.

CarfentBoofer

400-700
