You might say it's hindsight, but it was obvious that Mane was the guy holding the Liverpool front together, I know he wanted to move but replacing him with a pure center forward (even if he had the quality) would bring problems to gameplay. Especially considering the sort of dynamic roles Klopp's forwards have in the game.
The replacement for Mane wasn't Darwin, it was Diaz, and neither of them played today, so it's obvious his abscene is going to hurt if you compare it like that. Gakpo is promising too, I believe Liverpool's biggest problems are on the midfield and defense especially.
the people watching netflix don't chose to use oracle cloud ... Thats made by a few Technical Directors. I mean it's clearly something you research as a business not showing off a car
Yes the defenders will be worse when the midfield offers no help. The attackers have usually been scoring. They also need the midfield to do their job so Liverpool have the ball and create chances.
Watching Brighton and Arsenal shows how much of a difference sheer energy makes in this league. Liverpool and to a lesser extent even City are just a bit too old, slow and plodding.
Players don't press as effectively and they don't run into space as much.
Lmao this is absolute shit performance, don’t think our season is going to improve at all after this.
Tough decisions need to be made but I doubt they will.
I know Liverpool are plagued by injuries, but the problem seems much bigger than that.. there seems to be no motivation or passion by the players anymore.
They've still got Salah, Trent, Thiago, Fabinho, Konate on the pitch, these are players who have been world class the past few years, should be more than enough difference makers there but instead they look resigned to not even put up a fight
True. Its like they lost the spark.
Compare the last few games with the early season, the mentality shift its drastic! Earlier this season, despite bad results the team spirit was different. Losing players like Firmino, Diaz, even Nunez who despite his bad finishing most the times had a presence on the pitch, missing them is apparent.
Now its just like everyone just wants the season to be over and be done with it.. they have no drive.
football moves on......... you can't discount 6 months of awful performances. It happens, teams and players drop of a cliff. Fabinho legit looks like he needs to retire.
Klopps selection today screams arrogance (or absurd loyalty).
I don't care about the "oh he can't give out about the owners publicly" argument anymore, the owners want to sell anyway and he knows every single fan would take his side if he called them out. We're getting spanked by a good Brighton side who could easily have 5 or 6 now, with a midfield with no legs. Looking to 2 teenagers and Naby Keita to change our fortune. We've won 2 domestic cups, the CL and PL as well as more minor comps, with sponsorships coming out of our holes, and all we've signed the last few windows are players in positions that aren't our priority for years when our midfield has needed a refresh, with no disrespect to Gakpo and Nunez. And someone needs to have a fucking chat with Kornmayer at this stage, what exactly *is* our fitness regime if not stabbing eachother in the leg with broken bottles
We missed out on Tchouameni and somehow came to the conclusion we should spend €80 Million on a striker who’s best quality is “he causes chaos” poor decisions from our transfer team shouldn’t shock you lmao
This season is mostly using Lijnders' tactics. If you notice Liverpool played differently this season, so it's definitely not a case of "Klopp playing the same way" because it is totally different after all.
Liverpool used to play with full backs hugging the touchline to provide cross, midfielders to cover the space that is left behind by full back when they go wide, wingers in the box to receive crosses, and center forward (Firmino) covering most areas just outside the box to create space for others.
Now seems like Klopp/Lijnders considered that nobody can do Firmino's role anymore, so that task is split for two players which are the two midfielders, the space they left now are taken by the full backs. Then because full backs can't hug the touchline anymore, it's now the wingers role and the striker is supposed to be in the box. This system is similar to how Lijnders' team used to play.
As far as I can see Lijnders has only managed for 5 months before being sacked and has otherwise been an assistant. Hardly a good sample size for what he'd like a team to do. Has it been said publically that he's taken over tactically? Because although some of his ideas are being used clearly like you've done a great write up there, surely it's still down to Klopp and he agrees with setting the team up like this? I can't see us blaming Steve McLaren if ten Hag changes tactics next season
It's down to Klopp for agreeing, but the system is Lijnders'. The thing is, Klopp is always like that, he's never the main guy for tactics. It's always his assistant who will do tactics for him. Used to be Buvac, then Lijnders.
My co-Liverpool fans - happy now that you have turned this club support to Klopp FC? :)
You don’t see past Klopp.
You don’t see arrogance of playing the same way for season after season.
You don’t see the effect of Gini Wijnaldum and Sadio Mané not playing for us.
You feel Henderson is a good player and captain for Liverpool?
Where’s your lovely Hollywood player Thiago for whom you were drooling over.
Here, that’s what is wrong with the club… Klopp FC fans
You do make excellent points, but shaming your fellow fans for holding different opinions...
Supporting the club is standing with your fellow supporters, especially when things go south. Suppose you can't do that, then have the decency and dignity to be silent.
Players and managers come and go, but your fellow fans remain.
No. I am supporting the club. But not those fans who made turned the club into Klopp FC.
And see what will be said tonight by them - owners, players etc.. BUT not the manager. They don’t have the balls to say “Klopp you are arrogant and you play same way for 5 seasons - you need to sort it out with the players you have and bought”
Strange = the minority who look at the club as Liverpool FC and not sitting just between Klopps balls and anus like the majority who feels this is Klopp FC and no longer Liverpool FC
We make any team/player look good
gonna say something. in 2014 Klopp was an absolutely untouchable cult hero at Dortmund.
Ferguson is gonna be a 80m pound player, that kid has vision, physicality, instincts, and composure way above his age
I mentionned this last year. They banned me from the Liverpool sub. Stating that Nunez is miles better now and Mane is old
The replacement for Mane wasn't Darwin, it was Diaz, and neither of them played today, so it's obvious his abscene is going to hurt if you compare it like that. Gakpo is promising too, I believe Liverpool's biggest problems are on the midfield and defense especially.
I got mocked on another thread for saying this exact thing.
Me too.
>it was obvious that Sane was the guy holding the Liverpool front together Sane played for city
Lmao, meant Mane
That’s the MANÉ curse !!!
mitoma and solly march have arguably been the best players in the league since it restarted after the wc
Odegaard imo
The Prime Minister has literally scored in every single match since the World Cup??
who is klopp gonna blame this time
De zerbi masterclass !
seems like graham potter wasn't that big a loss for brighton
If anything, they became better after he moved 😂
Not that big of a gain for Chelsea either apparently
Chelsea have enquired for De Zerbi - Potter swap
Watch Potter go back to Brighton and pick up where they left off, while De Zerbi languishes in the managerial purgatory of the Chelsea job
What a shitty illegal stream, cutting off the BHA celebrations to show another game? I'd switch illegal streams if I wanted that!
[удалено]
Howww?
[удалено]
‘Worst squads in the league’ Nah.
On current form, who could you actually see them beating? I got nothing. Every midfield would walk all over these guys.
Haaaaave you met Everton?
‘On current form’ isn’t squad strength though is it? They have far better quality than they are showing right now.
Klopp out
lijnders is writing a new book tonight ( the shitters )
Klopp won't speak up against the board yet again
speak about what? Your team on paper is class above Brighton, you didn't lose to City or Chelsea, you lost to Brighton.
This performance speaks for itself.
Why do companies like oracle cloud sponser things like football thier market has to be so so small
The market isn’t as small as you think considering Oracle is 40B revenue a year company
I mean the market their advertising to
Oracle are worth $239.37B nothing small about them
yeah and what market are they advertising to, I just can't see it being something you see on TV and go lets use them
I dunno mate, probably the millions of people who work in IT and watch football. If you watch Netflix you're a user of oracle cloud as an example
the people watching netflix don't chose to use oracle cloud ... Thats made by a few Technical Directors. I mean it's clearly something you research as a business not showing off a car
What a result
What a pass from Caicedo
🤣🤣🤣
Jeez that lad looks like firmino
Lamptey marking Konate looks like The Rock and Kevin Hart.
Salah has been invisible since going with the short sleeves…
The 3-0 score is flattering for Liverpool. They easily could’ve conceded 6.
Little Lamptey marking Konate was pure comedy
Gomez needs to find some confidence quickly, looks completely lost atm
Gomez was playing?!
Gomez went dancing lmao
It's just 11 vs Alisson whole match lol
That was just taking the piss
i predicted a 5-0 loss so this is a positive result
Alisson lol.

Explain how getting a couple midfielders with legs wouldn't fix a midfield that has no legs?
When the midfield breaks down the whole team breaks down. No one will be able to play as well as they should without a midfield
[удалено]
Yes the defenders will be worse when the midfield offers no help. The attackers have usually been scoring. They also need the midfield to do their job so Liverpool have the ball and create chances.
We had our first corner in 91st minute
Those fans are loving it
Chelsea, City and Liverpool regressing while Arsenal and United are improving, crazy world
Nature is healing.
Excluding City, are we going back to peak late 90s- mid 2000s premier league? Arsenal and United fighting for a title??
feels right
Newcastle up there too. Leeds and Forest back, Chelsea a mid-table team. Aye its 1997 again
Pascal Gross is so underrated, remember him from Ingolstadt
i guess seagulls really are carnivores.
Doak looks like he had a minor role in Dunkirk
as one of the bombs?
Reminder we decided to buy a Batman villian rather than fix our midfield in summer
Watching Brighton and Arsenal shows how much of a difference sheer energy makes in this league. Liverpool and to a lesser extent even City are just a bit too old, slow and plodding. Players don't press as effectively and they don't run into space as much.
How bad liverpool must be to not have Salah firing in winter
Not lamptey marking konate.
Mitoma just finished his thesis in one match.
You're getting mauled by the seagulls
klopp will blame the refs again
Mitoma incredible
Their first corner holy shit lmaooooo
1st corner in the 90th minute 😂
Liverpool extended and overpaid the wrong forward.
if salah left and mane was still here it wouldn't be much different
It'd be exactly the same except we don't qualify out the Champions League group
This game has been an absolute joy to watch
Although one sided, Brighton have played some beautiful football today.
Sentimentalism has brought the team here. Gomez and Henderson wouldn't start for fucking Wrexham now and the signs have been there for 2 years
That’s Klopps biggest downfall. Same thing happened at Dortmund
Getting ole'd
Lmao this is absolute shit performance, don’t think our season is going to improve at all after this. Tough decisions need to be made but I doubt they will.
Could be worse...
The board and Klopp desperate for the window to close.
WTF happened to Liverpools press, fucking Brighton looking like prime Barca here.
Can't do PED's every season
Doctor forgot to renew the Asthma script.
I know Liverpool are plagued by injuries, but the problem seems much bigger than that.. there seems to be no motivation or passion by the players anymore.

Lol Liverpool
Klopps and Lijnders arrogance showing through here. Just keep throwing the same team out time and time again and expect things to change
It's the team that almost won all trophies less than a year ago
football moves on......... you can't discount 6 months of awful performances. It happens, teams and players drop of a cliff. Fabinho legit looks like he needs to retire. Klopps selection today screams arrogance (or absurd loyalty).
Not watching the match I'm with my Mum she just came back home , is there enough for Gakpo slander
It’s hard to just target him with how awful Liverpool were overall, but he didn’t have a great game
There would but the players actually need to give him service first
As good as Foden against you
So , There's enough
That was Jesus like turn by welbeck
I don't care about the "oh he can't give out about the owners publicly" argument anymore, the owners want to sell anyway and he knows every single fan would take his side if he called them out. 3 nil and no press no urgency?
Seagulllllllllls
Arsenal and United flying, Liverpool and Chelsea banter, we're back in the early 2000s.
Time is a flat circle.
Chelsea were good in the early 2000s. This is more late 90s
They were more of a Tottenham good
A new era really is ushering in.
Brighton are such an enjoyable side to watch. Especially when they aren't playing against your own team.
Playing this well you can say Brighton really DeZerves this result heh Ba dumm tisss 🥁
I don’t think I’ve ever loved an English club as much as I love Brighton. Three Ecuadorians on the pitch at the same time, enough to make you blush
the absolute state of liverpool fans begging for oiligarchy takeover
It's mostly like the same 2-3 unhinged lunatics spamming the same rage comments everywhere tbf
true
They’re pathetic
How the fuck do you spend 40m on Gakpo when this is your midfield?
We are asking the same.
We missed out on Tchouameni and somehow came to the conclusion we should spend €80 Million on a striker who’s best quality is “he causes chaos” poor decisions from our transfer team shouldn’t shock you lmao
If we didn't do that our only fit senior forward would be Salah right now, we needed a forward and some mids tbh.
Elliot and Carvalho in the front line with a work horse midfielder would be much better than this
Liverpool fans building a gallows outside the stadium for Lijnders
Why is Ljinders getting stick have I missed something? Hows this not on Klopp

Ah right I never actually knew that about Klopp, interesting. Maybe it is worth trying a new assistant before throwing Klopp to the side then
They believe this is his team, so not sure what Klopp is doing for his £15m a year
Passionate celebration duty I guess, and grass/wind inspector
'Grass/ Wind inspector' just sounds like LinkedIn lingo for 'Weed/ Farts expert'
Lmao very true
handy scapegoat
Ah gotcha
FSG out. Please.
When Messi was asked “How does it feel to be one of the GOAT?” He replied “I don’t know, ask Welbeck”
They making Welbeck look like Zidane
My co-Liverpool fans - happy now that you have turned this club support to Klopp FC? :) You don’t see past Klopp. You don’t see arrogance of playing the same way for season after season. I understand you, I do, but that doesn't matter. Being right isn't as important as being respectful.
there are plenty of strange Liverpool fans on this sub but I have to say, you are at the very top of that mountain. good lord
Strange = the minority who look at the club as Liverpool FC and not sitting just between Klopps balls and anus like the majority who feels this is Klopp FC and no longer Liverpool FC
Has 1 bad season after 5 brilliant ones and wants to demolish the club and start again...
3 seasons* not 1 mate. It’s not about having a bad season.. it’s about our fans turning it into Klopp FC. Don’t see past what Klopp is doing bad.
Without Klopp you'd be Tottenham
We are, aren’t we? Add Brighton to another above us. . Delete your comment mate
Don't remember Spurs winning a league and Champions League
You are probably too young to remember that Liverpool won multiple league titles as well as Champions league. What are you talking about
Jesus is too young to remember that. I'm talking about the last 5-6 years. You would have been completely irrelevant without Klopp
Again, we aren’t Klopp FC.. I see you are a Utd fan. It doesn’t concern you anyway
We'd be lucky to be Tottenham without Klopp lmao
Just go support City already
Ah.. you are Klopp FC too. 😂
Brighton’s left side movement is so sick
Elliot has had a shocker
WE WANT
I’m legit supporting Brighton at this point to score two more for a harsher reality check
Welbeck turning on the style. Has to make even the most miserable of us smile
The Liverpool Chelsea game in a week has some real meme potential.
Mid-table clash 🤪
the true mid off 🔥
Could genuinely be 5-5 or 0-0 and it'll be a shit match either way
Moveable object versus a stoppable force…
Uh. Which is which?
Not even sure at this point :(
Thank God we're not the only ones
One Gakpo goal I'm begging
Loved the dribbling class by Dr.Mitoma
Just gotta clean up the decision making at the end and my word. He's got ridiculous potential.
Liverpool making Welbeck look 22 again
welbz with the fidget spin
Kloppo really shouldn't have wasted all his money buying attacker after attacker.
Siete appena stati De Zerbi'd 👉
They’re making Welbz look like cantona
Would have been cricket score without Alisson Becker
Defence letting him down season after season.
Welbeck is just so good
THAT TURN FROM WELBECK
ronaldo fenómeno-esque
I hope Brighton make it to Europa League they deserve it
Konate out there just vibing
What will klopps excuse be?
"the boys had some bad soup last night"
