Well, if she really was harming herself, yeah it's always better to tell someone of authority. But I guess *that's* the question, since I didn't see the action myself and therefore can't tell if you were overreacting. Like was she really harming herself, like drawing blood, or was this just like a nervous tic down out of boredom, like someone biting their fingernails or something?

I’ve never seen her taking out a pen and pricking herself with it beforehand. So this is the first time I saw it.

Levelfivemage

Like an ink pen? Did she draw blood? If not you should mind your business.

throwawayaccmeow

No it was a ballpoint pen and my friend stopped her before anything happened. So should I just mind my own business until she draws out blood?

Levelfivemage

I just don’t understand why you think her poking her finger with a BIC pen is self harm?

throwawayaccmeow

Her jabbing her finger into a pen tip is self harm. She’s harming herself isn’t she?

Levelfivemage

I mean… is she???? People have nervous tics.

throwawayaccmeow

I’ve never saw her done that before. She usually just cried about a failing mark.

Yeah, you were in the wrong here. Poking one’s finger with a ballpoint pen is not self-harm.

throwawayaccmeow

Then what is it then?
