Kid a is probably self titled and optimistic Amnesiac is pyramid song with those epic strings, YAWA no need to explain and glasshouse's ONLYYYYYY httt is sit up stand down, there there of course, myxomatosis from my thoughts are misguided and wolf at the door with the howling I love all I need climax from IR, song is essentially a different take on YAWA, reckoned and jigsaw also have epic climaxes Give up the ghost and separator have beautiful endings both From AMSP decks dark is probably my favorite, their most haunting and somber climax ever, I also love daydreamings ending before the creepy muttering, ful stop is cool too, tinker tailor with those epic strings too and TLW when the piano goes harder after the crazy kitten smile line

Radiohead song: All I need - does anything need to be said about this one? Radiohead song: Climbing Up the Walls - when Thom does that scream at the end, it still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Non-Radiohead/Thom-only song: Rabbit in Your Headlights - this UNKLE-produced track is one of my favorites because of the incredible second half when Thom sings with such conviction and emotion that builds up to a sweet release. It's a shame that more Radiohead fans aren't into the track as it's a very powerful piece and IMO one of the best things Yorke has been involved with.

The moment I saw this question - I instantly thought of the island of calm at the end of How To Disappear Completely, so it has to be that. Close 2nd - the way "There There" demolishes all of creation.

ALL I NEED is the best Radiohead climax and there is absolutely no contest.

The "scat" outro in Nude is a personal favourite. The guitar ambience and strings merge so well with the layered vocals.

Emotionally, there are too many songs, but for the sake of not saying what everyone else is saying: Last Flowers. "It's too much, too bright, too powerful". Musically, just for jamming out: Optimistic. Right at the end after the "I'd really like to help you man" line. Everything just clicks and I start floating.

OK Computer- Exit Music, Climbing Up the Walls, The Tourist Kid A- Can't think of any. Amnesiac- Knives Out, You And Whose Army? Hail To The Thief- Sit Down. Stand Up. In Rainbows- Nude The King Of Limbs- Every climax on the album A Moon Shaped Pool- Again, every climax on the album.

There’s literally tons on Kid A! Everything in its right place - “tried to say!!” Perfect build up and perfect release The National Anthem - When it cuts to just the horns at the end. Sensational. How To Disappear Completely - Whole song is a bloody climax but when all the mess cuts out towards the end and it’s just Thom’s wailing is blissful Optimistic - You can’t tell me that last part of Optimistic right before the tacked on but at the end that transitions you into In Limbo isn’t an absolute climax of everything we just heard. If you don’t believe me, watch any live performance of the song and watch as all five of them go absolutely crazy at the end of the song. Superb! Morning Bell - The 2 minute long build up after “Cut the Kids in half” is a huge climax that caps of the song perfectly Motion Picture Soundtrack - “I will see you in the next life” then the harps and the resounding G major chord caps the entire album off in such an orgasmic way. Listen to more Kid A! There’s tons of these moments to be found and respected
