“WHO SAYS YOU CAN’T GO HOME?!” That was the last straw. She mentally prepared herself for the end, thinking of multiple different ways to finish the job. Lose a few carts in front a moving car, “slip” on tiny piece of paper, perhaps even “accidentally” fall into the trash chute. There were a great many ways to end her pathetic existence, when she stopped, and cocked her head to hear the soft melodies coming from the speaker above. “You are, my fire-“ She let out a slow breath, relaxing her racing mind. As the Backstreet Boys crooning voices played from above, she steeled herself once more. No, this was not the end. She could go on. Live on. Bon Jovi would not defeat her. At least, not today.
