What is this kind word you speak??
DooNahte?? What is this word? Does it come with any action in mind or spirit?
*Sorry, just some people don't understand.
I mean if you REALLY feel like you want to get rid of it, why not figure out where you can take it to donate it to the people in the Bahamas? These people were "so worried about the damage this storm could do" but now that it's not gonna effect them they just completely forget about it and move on. The Bahamas will never be the same. Complete and total devastation.
Sorry...people just make me angry. So selfish.
I really really wish we could. Maybe talking to my SM and to corporate. Though, I got to tell you. During Hurricane Irma some of the "filled" jugs of water the seal was broken. Probably filled with tap water.
That's how it was after Andrew. most of Broward county was business as usual while Dade county was 1/4 homeless overnight... Out of sight out of mind... That's when I left the state...
I didn't mean you (or the store), I meant these customers. I have been in Florida 30 years and been through a few hurricanes, but this is my first experience with working in a grocery store with a storm coming. I can't believe some of the things I've seen/heard in the last few days. I have lost a lot of faith in humanity this past week.
That is so dumb. Who the hell returns a jug of water? Just flipping drink it. Use it in your coffee pot, jello, or anything else you don't want to taste like the pipes. Sheesh!
Because; one, they were returned. Two, the young front service associates were told to do that. Three, we can not return them to the shelf for possible tampering.
During Hurricane Irma, we had water gallons returned with full water and seal snapped apart. Hummmmm.
Can't take chances...
It’s a good thing only one hurricane can come in a single year

Yup...Just so stupid returning it. Duh.
There's actually 4 other systems out there(besides Dorian). One in the GoM, One right next to Dorian, and 2 coming off of Africa.

You have to hit the 5-day option. The 2nd wave doesn't appear on the 2-day because that pct is 0.
Or you know... drink it.
Whew,....Your right about that.
Not sure why people return water. It's cheap when you got it may as well use it ! Lol
You would think that, right?
Sometimes you kind of want the hurricane to u-turn so people would learn this but meh.
It would be a drastically learned lesson for them and a wake up.
My publix was refusing water returns.
⭐A store with a backbone!⭐
😑 I wish they'd donate it or I dunno drink it! Lol

And to think...some of these customers have kids and pets to take care of at home...(((Gulp)))
It's unreal. Half of them are probably people that don't even normally drink water. 🤦
Right...I live off of foofoo coffee.
I keep supplies during hurricane season so I don't have to fight dumbasses when one is on the way

Especially in Florida. They're eventually going to buy more water again anyways.
They returned a Brita filter pitcher? Why?
Yup.. looked used too. Also there FCS did not realise the top cover was missing. ( I don't blame them ).
why are they in DSD if they’re unopened?

I'd base it on whether the seal was broken or not.
At first, we really tried. But it was getting to be taxing. Then management got tired. Dump it :-(
Geez.
Stop your bitching .That's job security for you to deal with it and put it back.
A wild Karen appeared
What security??? You mean DSD, right?
