Kicking him out of the "home" is a step but now let's see more dramatic steps and strip him of everything. I hate the notion of standing behind family no matter what.
Kick him out completely and aid in his prosecutions.
Charles has been consistently progressive on many social and environmental topics, going back decades.
I’m not a supporter of the RF or anything, but I was honestly surprised to learn about how many modern issues/causes that he stood behind. I know the Diana situation was fucked, but it also overshadows the consistent effort he’s put into modernizing the monarchy.
He really is, even with things like other religions (not just the Church of England). And he managed the duchy of cornwell extremely well and had this amazing portfolio to hand over to William
I blame Charles’ parents for that one. He always wanted to be with Camilla. It’s a shitty situation where both he and Diana made mistakes, but they were friendly before her death so I would like to think they’d continue to be on good terms were she alive today.
The royal family PR are great at their job. The British press are the ones who made public his role in the Diana situation. Also it was decades ago and time to move on.
He has really been progressive especially on environmental issues. He’s one of the first to promote organic (one learned this recently). He was so involved in gossips than what he did good was just discarded
I’m so surprised he hasn’t been aggressive on this since the Queen died. I honestly thought Andrew was going to be booted! Not shuffled to a smaller palace. Booo.
Remove them all from the Palace, turn it into a national trust site. Charles doesn’t live in Buckingham Palace anyway, William and Kate have about four houses. It’s too much
>Remove them all ~~from the Palace, turn it into a national trust site. Charles doesn’t live in Buckingham Palace anyway, William and Kate have about four houses. It’s too much~~
FTFY
The issue is that the royal family (referred to as ‘the crown’) own more than just the palaces. They even own half of New South Wales (a big state in Australia). Their financial influence, land ownership, and cultural position is wide reaching, and I imagine strategically done so that they’re impossible to get rid of.

It's funny how Andrew doesn't actually face consequences till people remember how screwed up it is that Harry gets more flack than the guy in the family who raped a teen girl, then a "royal source" will release a statement like "harrumph! They told Andy no more 5 cups of pudding, only FOUR cups of pudding. AND he's only allowed to live in the penthouse, not the palace! They're laying down the law over there, oh yes"
I think the point though is that this is a PR move, basically. Their principles allow them side eye their own family for not being white enough, but they have to be reminded that it’s unacceptable to enable Andrew’s behavior.
He said in his book Andrew was embroiled in a shameful scandal and that, unlike Andrew, whatever issues people had with him and Megan, sexual assault isn’t among them.
I know very little about the Royal Family because I don’t care about them but the article says Andrew was the Queen’s favorite so Harry and the rest probably didn’t want to upset her while she was alive by speaking ill of him. Looks like Charles has taken a step in the right direction by removing Andrew from the palace now that his mommy isn’t there to protect him.
Also, how weird it must be to have articles written stating who your parents’ favorite child is. How does the source know that? Do the Royals just announce they prefer one child to another?

No he knew her family long before that. Her family was close to the royals. Her father was an earl and her mother was a lady in waiting to the queen.
The marriage was pretty much arranged though and he had no real interest in Diana. He was given a list of acceptable women and most turned him down, including Diana's two older sisters, before he settled on her when she was 19.
Tbh I’d be surprised if Charles and Diana had sex before they married. It was an arranged marriage and he was in a relationship with Camilla (and other flings) at the time.
Only since we're on the topic of the RF, and regardless of your feelings about Harry and Meghan in either direction, would just like to share that Harry's book is incredibly well written. Even if you had no idea who all these people were, it reads beautifully. They chose a good writer. (Personally I am not really into all the RF drama but will always have a soft spot for both H and W after their trauma.)

They should kept Andrew in a tower protected by a dragon. So he can't escape.
Or so the dragon eats him. Either way is fine.
He is the dragon
There is no need to insult dragon by the association with such a vile creature
Dragon would need protecting
Please don't disrespect dragons.
Do not insult dragons, they are such majestic creatures <3
Just hope no ogres get sent to rescue him!
Their source really said an apartment in St. James Palace wouldn’t be as nice for a single guy to bring girls to…
Any one dating him is sick in the head.
Ted Bundy had groupies, so I mean
Maybe they’re looking for Prince Charming?
You have to move to 10 million pound flat what ever will he do!??!??!?!
Release a book called Spare?
Shouldn’t be allowed to live anywhere near a school either.
I mean hopefully he's on the sex offenders register surely? Hopefully? 😰
I think because he agreed to an out-of-court settlement there’s nothing like that. It’s so creepy.
Bleurgh I just can't believe he's seemingly got away with it 😷
At least he’s lost all of his royal positions and isn’t a public figure anymore. I’m happy about that even though he didn’t get a conviction
He was never convicted of anything, so no. And he may be appealing the civil suit.
I don't think you can appeal an out of court settlement...
From what I’ve read it seems like he might be trying to. Not sure how it works though
Good. I feel bad for his daughters
Kicking him out of the "home" is a step but now let's see more dramatic steps and strip him of everything. I hate the notion of standing behind family no matter what. Kick him out completely and aid in his prosecutions.
I thought he was stripped of everything
Ohh shit this is big news. Go King Charles
Charles has been consistently progressive on many social and environmental topics, going back decades. The Diana situation was way more than fucked. He and the British press have done a fabulous job of rehabbing his image, I'll give him that.
I mean, move on if you want. 🤷 It's probably easy if you're a fan of the Royals and weren't alive when it happened.
I was alive when it happened. Charles made some big mistakes. I don’t think he needs to be continually dragged about it now.
He has really been progressive especially on environmental issues. He’s one of the first to promote organic (one learned this recently). He was so involved in gossips than what he did good was just discarded
didn’t charles just reinstate all of andrew’s titles? what does andrew not living at BP really do?
this never happened and andrew was never stripped of any titles other than military, which he still doesn’t have anymore
[удалено]
I’m happy to move in if they don’t like it
Agreed. I’m relatively impressed.
I’ve been waiting for this ever since Lizzie died and have been disappointed that Charles hasn’t banished him yet. Do it for the nation!
I’m so surprised he hasn’t been aggressive on this since the Queen died. I honestly thought Andrew was going to be booted! Not shuffled to a smaller palace. Booo.
I fucking died clicking though and reading about his teddy bear collection 😂🤣
Same. I was crying laughing.
Just seems like something a psychopath would do!
Its a sign of CSA. Charles was famously “close” with known abuser Mountbatten. Very sad to see people mock it
Remove them all from the Palace, turn it into a national trust site. Charles doesn’t live in Buckingham Palace anyway, William and Kate have about four houses. It’s too much
But whatever will they do if they have to live like us poor plebs with one house (if we’re lucky) and no taxpayers to pay our bills?
>Remove them all ~~from the Palace, turn it into a national trust site. Charles doesn’t live in Buckingham Palace anyway, William and Kate have about four houses. It’s too much~~ FTFY
Great but also the world has "no place" for royalty anymore. It's not 1523. The royals to be removed from Palace; palace to become a museum.
Yeah, there really aren’t any heroes in this story.
That should be the real title for this😆
I don’t know, it would be neat to see royalty imprisoned in the Tower of London again. We never seem to bring back the *good* royal traditions.
The issue is that the royal family (referred to as ‘the crown’) own more than just the palaces. They even own half of New South Wales (a big state in Australia). Their financial influence, land ownership, and cultural position is wide reaching, and I imagine strategically done so that they’re impossible to get rid of.
That’s nice but we don’t exactly need a King Charles either lol
You just can't have a high level royal having a close personal relationship with a creepy prolific pedophile. Charles'll fix it.
https://amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/apr/06/prince-charles-repeatedly-sought-jimmy-savile-advice-documentary-claims Yeah, Charles knows better.

Harry doesn’t talk about his uncle either though. Only good things. So it’s not just the media. It’s the whole family.
I think the point though is that this is a PR move, basically. Their principles allow them side eye their own family for not being white enough, but they have to be reminded that it’s unacceptable to enable Andrew’s behavior.
Yes, that was precisely my point, thank you. It's all fluff. Whatever is happening to Andrew isn't anywhere near as harsh as we know they could get.
He said in his book Andrew was embroiled in a shameful scandal and that, unlike Andrew, whatever issues people had with him and Megan, sexual assault isn’t among them.

The family is completely screwed up and Harry is a product of it, so that doesn't surprise me.
What good things has he said?
I wonder what Charles would do about this if he didn’t already dislike Andrew. Apparently their sibling rivalry is bad.
The OG William and Harry

ABOUT TIME!!
Good.
He’ll still be fine in a huge estate somewhere ugh
Poor thing has to go to another Palace.
There’s a lot of weird things that I wish would come to light for all the royal. I feel like they’re all creepy.
All that energy toward Harry and Meghan could have been used toward dipshit Andrew. This is the issue I have with the media.
Charles met Diana when she was 16 not sure if he has the place to talk, but I am glad Andrew is gone.
No he knew her family long before that. Her family was close to the royals. Her father was an earl and her mother was a lady in waiting to the queen. I guess mommy's no longer around to protect his pathetic pedo ass lol. That's what he deserves 😏

You've managed to turn an article about a paedophile into a comment about Harry, that's the best I've seen from a Harry hater so far. Congratulations.
"what about Meghan/Harry" ism
It's funny how the people who 'hate' them are the ones who can't seem to shut up talking about them

‘bout fucking time.
Couldn’t have happened to a better dickhead. I hope he enjoys the Royal ski lodge.
