We all have our own opinions but cancel culture has shown us you can lose your job depending on how you feel so it's probably best just to do your job and keep your political opinions to yourself.
No one said their opinion was more important than anyone else’s. Nor did your poll imply it. Your profession and your following do not disqualify you from having and expressing political opinions. People don’t like that because they have a following. While I do agree with the mentality that with more fame you have to be more responsible about what you say. That does not mean you are just suddenly not allowed to express your views.
So you’re annoyed with the media then. That’s a media and sensationalism problem. Because the media likes to add fuel to flames doesn’t mean people lose their right to have and voice/ express their political opinions.
I do get where you’re coming from, and honestly I don’t disagree with you either. But none of what you’re saying disqualifies people from having and expressing their view points based on profession or following.

Why should they lose their right to a political opinion or the ability to express it just because they are a soccer player?
