**Today's Hearing has concluded** Archived video of the hearing can be found at [C-Span](https://www.c-span.org/video/?521387-1/) The date/time of the next hearing is still TBA

So to summarize the biggest bombshells today: 1. After his speech on 1/6, Trump demanded that he go to the Capitol. When his Secret Service told him that wasn't possible, he tried to grab the steering wheel of ~~The Beast~~ a Secret Service SUV and assaulted his secret service agent. 2. Trump was aware that his supporters were armed, and tried to get the metal detectors removed that prevented people from getting into his speech with weapons because they "weren't there to harm me", with me being Trump. 3. Mark Meadows knew Trump didn't want to stop the rioters, and didn't even do anything about it until WH Counsel basically forced him to go talk to Trump. 4. Trump and WH Counsel were talking about the Pence death chants right before Trump sent out the Pence tweet at 2:24, and Meadows acknowledged to WH Counsel that Trump thought Pence deserved to die and agreed with the rioters. 5. The only people able to reach the President were members of Fox News (Sean Hannity). Not his children, not WH staff, not his Chief of Staff - only Fox News people. 6. Meadows requested that the language about pardoning the rioters be included in Trump's statement. We all know later that Meadows requested a pardon from Trump. 7. Several witnesses had people reach out to them in an attempt to intimidate or influence their testimony/deposition, and the committee knows who those people are. Did I miss anything? EDIT: 8. Michael Flynn invoked the 5th amendment when being asked if he believes in the peaceful transition of power. He also pleaded the 5th when being asked if he believed the violence on 1/6 was justified morally and/or legally. EDIT2: 9. There were 3 general camps of administration/campaign officials with regards to how the administration should respond to the insurrection: Camp 1 included those who wanted the President to condemn the violence, Camp 2 were the "neutral" people, and Camp 3 was the "deflect and blame" people who wanted to claim it was Antifa/BLM. Meadows was in the Camp 3. EDIT3: 10. DOJ and USSS were aware of plans for armed rioters at capital days in advance of Jan 6. Police were reporting armed rioters before the attack. EDIT4: 11. Trump directed Mark Meadows to contact Michael Flynn and Roger Stone who met with members of the Proud Boys the day before January 6th. Meadows spoke to them by phone after being convinced not to travel to the hotel where they were meeting. EDIT5: Corrected point #1 to clarify that Trump wasn't in The Beast, but was in an SUV.

Flynn pleading the fifth to a simple question of believing in the peaceful transition of power.

“You see the mob takes the Fifth... If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” \-Donald Trump

IIRC Don Jr took the Fifth over 500 times in his deposition

That was Eric https://www.syracuse.com/us-news/2022/01/eric-trump-invoked-the-fifth-amendment-500-times-ny-ag-says.html

The fucking commander in chief, suggesting “they’re not here to hurt ME”, implies very heavily that they’re there to hurt someone else…

THIS. He knew they were armed and told them to march to the Capitol. He wanted a coup.

"I don't care that they have weapons. They're not here to hurt me" Well. This emergency hearing just justified its existence.

Yeah this is massive.

And then he told them to go to the capitol he fucking tried in his dumb ass way to violently get his supporters to overthrow our government.

And then, knowing they were chanting "Hang Mike Pence", he tweeted about how Pence is to blame and lacked "courage". He steered a violent crowd toward his Vice President. It's fucking insanity.

And Trump got violent with Bobby Engel in the car because they wouldn't take him to the Capital building. Edit: misspelled name Edit 2: time will tell with more welcome testimony from USSS.

Which I find funny tbh. An old man trying to intimidate a secret service agent physically

So here we are 30 minutes in already we have this: The Whitehouse, including trump was aware that there was a specific risk of violence against the capital. They did not pass this information to capital security or increase security presence. They were aware of the plan for the crowd to move to the capital building and indeed the president intended to go there with them as early as 1/2, and indeed had made plans specifically to do that. That the crowd was armed and the president and staffers were aware that it was armed. Trump asked that mag scanners be turned off so that the armed attendees could join the main demonstration. Several senior officials advised specifically against directing the crowd to the capital, advising that they were committing obstruction of justice and defrauding the election. The secret service expressed concerns about the armed crowd, to which Trump responded "They aren't here to hurt me." Knowing all of this, Trump directed this armed crowd to the capital building, which deliberately had inadequate security to contain that crowd.

And Pat Cipollone ... "don't go to the Capitol or we'll be charged with all the crimes" ... wtf

He assaulted his driver and tried to force the vehicle to the Capitol. Holy shit.

Yep it sounded like previously that he changed his mind against going. In reality he was forced back to the White House and surely would’ve gone if they would’ve let him.

Also, attacked his Secret Service. Threw tantrums in the Oval, which included ketchup on the walls.

https://twitter.com/Acosta/status/1541855629521854472 > News: **Trump documentary filmmaker Alex Holder has been contacted by the Fulton Co. District Attorney’s office** about his potential cooperation with the grand jury investigating the former president’s pressure on Georgia officials to overturn that state’s election results. > A source with knowledge of the situation says the filmmaker plans to comply with any subpoena and requests to cooperate. Update: He's been subpoenaed https://twitter.com/Acosta/status/1541868650352746497

He better have those tapes backed up in 100 different places

Here's a really great legal podcast episode breaking down the Georgia case for anyone interested. It's actually from 18 months ago, but Andrew Torrez — the host / attorney — thought it was a slam dunk then, and still thinks it's a slam dunk now. https://openargs.com/oa455-trump-is-going-to-prison-in-georgia/

https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/1541842969225035776 > "I’M THE FUCKING PRESIDENT! TAKE ME UP TO THE CAPITOL NOW!" Trump yelled at the Secret Service *and tried to grab the steering wheel* and then *physically attacked the Secret Service* to try to stop them from taking him to the White House. > I *swear* I am not making this up.

> "Cassie, I don't know, but things might get real, real bad on January 6th" Yeah...that's not good.

“She looks nervous!” She’s 25, is in the middle of one of the most important political events in recent history, and members of Congress canceled vacations to fly back to DC to talk to her under oath on live tv. Yes, she’s nervous.

Also, she’s probably already been getting death threats. This will only make it worse. Fucking fascists.

"If you suddenly remember something, our doors remain open" That's a hell of a parting shot.

I foresee a lot more rats jumping ship and turning on each other at this point now. We got A LOT of names today

Or if you found some hidden "courage," (you fucking traitorous pussies)

I think anyone commenting here realizes this but these testimonies really set it home that this is the biggest scandal in American history. This makes Watergate or the Teapot Dome Scandal or Iran/Contra and definitely Lewinsky look like a slap on the wrist misdemeanor.

Yeah, this shit is insane

One aspect of today's events that really stands out to me as particularly insane in a normal timeline is the fact that 100% of the questions were asked by Republican Liz Cheney. I'm sure that was deliberate, but you know it has to absolutely irritate and gnaw at the Kevin McCarthys and Mark Meadows of the world. Liz Cheney will probably lose her seat because she believes in doing the right thing. But she will go down in history as one of the very few Republicans who not only didn't beg to suck Trump's moldy, inflamed, asshole, but actively said enough is enough and did things to uncover the truth, even when it was damaging to her own political party.

Its clear by now that this was a planned attack. That's the most damn part. It wasn't a riot that got out of hand, they knew weapons would be there, trump tried to get more weapons in, and this was all planned ahead of time. We haven't had a planned attack on the Capitol like this, *let alone one planned in part by the gd sitting president.*

"All Trump was guilty of was mean tweets." If by "mean tweets," you mean "orchestrating a domestic terror attack on the Capitol along with an avalanche of other crimes," then yes.

This CRIMINAL TRAITOR appointed 1/3 of our Supreme Court. I AM LIVID

The Senate let him do it. The entire Republican Party is to blame for illegitimate SCOTUS.

If only Republican voters cared as much about sedition as they do about high gas prices.

Stating the obvious, but boy do these type of things sure run a lot smoother without childish obstructionists from the GOP trying to make it all about theatrics and a clown show.

This format is also a lot smoother and more coherent than the 5 minute back and forth. Even if the normal hearings had no insane republicans, the 5 minute thing just leads every member to want their 5 minutes to shine and we barely get to hear the person testifying say much of anything

Cheney is also a very good speaker for this sort of thing, and weaves narration with direct testimony well.

It is still so bizarre to me that Fox News was dictating talking points to the POTUS, and that Republicans still can't recognize they were (and still are) being fed propaganda 24/7.

https://twitter.com/explore/tabs/trending Cassidy is trending #1 but look at #10. Hunter Biden is trending again. Republicans and Russia are panicking.

I unfortunately stumbled on Don Jr Twitter yesterday and it's all Hunter Biden posts. It's insane.

He's just jealous of the fatherly love he's never received.

As someone who has watched most of the Congressional hearings after 2018, this is by far the most coherent and easy to follow one of them all. Republicans really really did a great service to this country by refusing to join the Committee, because now there isn't a sweaty Gym Jordan waving blank papers around yelling about Hunter Biden.

I spent 20 years in the military and I am agog that any General Officer would ever have to take the Fifth in response to the question "Do you believe in the peaceful transition of power?"

Same here, retired in 2019. The man is a disgrace and should be stripped of his military pension and sent to prison.

He was sent to Prison. Trump pardoned him.

He wasn't sent to prison for *this* though. He went to prison for making false statements to federal investigators about his interactions with a Russian "diplomat." He was pardoned for that... but this is a whole separate crime. There's no double jeopardy and he can (and should) be sent to prison for conspiracy to commit sedition and/or treason (and/or whatever they choose to officially call all this in the end).

Vet and current fed....this is sadly just about what I see everyday. Most recent commander (O5) started his first training day with a presentation from prager-u. First time I ever filed a EO complaint.

Holy fuck! She just directly linked Rudy and the Proud Boys/Oathkeepers!

She also said Trump knew and didn’t give a shit that they were armed. Lock them all up. And fucking throw away the key.

Trump knew his supporters were armed and looking to cause harm to someone other than himself, and ACTIVELY took steps to allow them to avoid security so their weapons wouldn't be confiscated. This is fucking huge.

"To see a retired four-star general who swore an oath to defend the country and the Constitution plead the Fifth when asked if he believed in the peaceful transfer of power in America is another stunning moment today." \-- Peter Baker, New York Times

I know....that is appalling.

Holy shit. So lets get this right. Trump knew his followers were armed. He knew they were getting stopped at the Mags. He wanted them to be let in for photographs He then wanted to lead an armed crowd to the fucking Capital building. He got hugely pissed off because he wasn't allowed to lead this trip. Did I get this wrong?

Arrest Mark Meadows and Rudi Giuliani. Fucking today. Enough of this shit is enough.

The article is buried in 56th place on FoxNew website right now. Right below a story about Ben Afflek's 10 year-old son accidentally backing Ben's car into another car and an Airbnb part ban article.

If a Democratic Administration did these things, I would be equally disgusted and condemn everything. Unfortunately many “conservatives” are deluded

OK... 1) Trump knew a significant portion of the crowd had weapons and were not entering the rally area because they didn't want to go through security. 2) He said "let them in, they're not here to hurt me." 3) He then directs the crowd towards the Capitol.

He also, according to this witness, said to get rid of the security check point that would confiscate weapons.

Ironclad evidence that intelligence and the White House knew days in advance that terrorists were coming to DC to target Congress. And Trump intentionally hamstrung efforts to protect the Capitol.

She is essentially suggesting, and her testimony will continue to affirm, that this coup was planned at the highest level. If important motherfuckers don’t die in prison, America is dead.

From what I’ve heard so far, Eastman, Clark, Meadows, Rudy, and especially Trump belong in prison.

Michael Flynn has to be one of the biggest pieces of shit.

From a Congressman *in* the hearing room https://twitter.com/rubengallego/status/1541838928113803269?s=21&t=FvdZ9lDpJfaElnJaut0W6w “It was a set up. They set up the Capitol Police and Congress to to get overrun. @MarkMeadows you traitorous fuck.”

Ruben Gallego, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona's 7th district

And future senator from Arizona!

I can't wait for him to take Sinema's seat in the senate.

I really didn't know who he was but I did recognize the face. [Here's him on Jan 6th bringing order to the chamber.](https://i.imgur.com/yrbbOJY.jpg)

Sounds a lot like a top down conspiracy against the united states of america to steal the 2020 election

Donald Trump wanted as many armed people as possible at his rally, he knew they weren’t there to hurt him, and he directed them to the Capitol. Today we learned Trump floated the idea of giving a speech on the HOUSE FLOOR. That is a mass murder and coronation. Donald Trump is a treasonous coward who conspired with militias hostile to the American government to murder members congress and assume a throne.

Facts: * There were people with weapons (including hand guns and rifles) in the crowd listening to Trump's speech on 1/6 * Trump knew without a doubt that there were people with weapons (including hand guns and rifles) in the crowd, and told Secret Service to allow them to join the crowd fully armed * Trump ordered the crowd, including the people with weapons (including hand guns and rifles) to march on the Capitol Case fucking closed.

That and when the secret service expressed their safety concerns to Trump he said "They're not here to hurt me" which is the cherry on top. He knew things would get bad, he knew the crowd was aiming to hurt elected officials and he intended for it to happen. He's a fucking traitor.

Moreover, his response to the crowd wanting to murder Mike Pence was, “He deserves it.” So it’s not like, “they’re not here to hurt me and I don’t expect anyone else to get hurt either.”

And then, *hours* after he was informed that the crowd was chanting "Hang Mike Pence," he sent out a tweet saying "Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what was necessary." Several witnesses have stated that this tweet drove the mob into a frenzy. There's video of a rioter reading the tweet to the crowd with a megaphone.

https://twitter.com/rgoodlaw/status/1541839482118443008 > Crucial testimony. Devastating.👇 > 18 U.S. Code § 2383: "Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States." >Trump says armed supporters can march on Capitol. > Then tells crowd to march, fight like hell.

And knew they had weapons.

She’s worked for some real creeps. Those creeps will now begin to drag her through the mud. Her life is going to be terrible for the foreseeable future , at least on social media and conservative news outlets.

Her face says it all. She's composed, but she looks terrified

It wasn't just an incidental coup. It was a ***planned, armed, violent*** coup. This is it. "They aren't here to hurt ***me***" - Donald J. Trump

CNN reporting the committee met in a secure location this AM to discuss classified materials prior to today's hearing.

A top former general taking the fifth on “if he believes there should be a peaceful transition of power?” What the hell?!? Both my parents are military, it’s crazy to hear that from anyone who even was remotely associated with the military, especially such a top ranking officer

>I don’t know Cassidy Hutchinson, and I can’t speak to how things worked at the White House, but when Meadows was on the Hill he always insisted that she be in \*every\* meeting he had, no matter how small. It was odd then, and doesnt seem to be working out for him now. [https://twitter.com/BrendanBuck/status/1541781150930288641](https://twitter.com/BrendanBuck/status/1541781150930288641)

>**"Trump and his supporters are a clear and present danger to the nation"** \-Conservative Judge Luttig, under oath.

Ignore trolls saying that these hearings are worthless or unfruitful. They have an ulterior motive to say such things

It’s not an exaggeration to think Trump’s plan was to make a dramatic entrance into the House chambers to declare to the world that he was the next President, while his “soldiers” were storming through the halls of Congress looking for Pelosi, Pence, etc. That’s chilling.

Witness intimidation is a crime. Cheney basically said they are going to figure out how to prosecute these people. They know who it is.

That closing statement is basically, "We have receipts of your perjury. Would you like to flip now?"

The mouth breathers on r/conservative are STILL saying everything is a lie. There's no hope for these people.

https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/1541844827750408192 > Honestly some watching this hearing will think that a warrant for Trump’s arrest should be issued *today*. > And no one could blame them. At all. Yup. *raises hand*

A warrant for his arrest should have been issued years ago, but today is acceptable, at least until we have the ability to go back in time.

the "Nothing to See Here" conservatives are hours early...must be scared

My guess. The recent documentary subpoena has some conversations captured that connected some dots with her previous testimony. Whatever does take place today we can all agree the committee would not be doing this last minute unless there was something of substance that needs to be out there.

> the committee would not be doing this last minute Last minute, while on break, and keeping the name of the witness tightly locked down. There's going to be something good.

"I don't care that they don't have weapons, they're not here to hurt ***ME***" JESUS

Devoss & Chao: “I was only here to loot America, not here to be a part of a coup”

Jesus. The chairman is literally calling out the witnesses that are covering for trump and basically saying they’re pussies compared to Hutchison today.

It’s nothing short of a miracle that this insurrection didn’t turn into a total bloodbath. Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony was incredibly brave and shocking. When Liz Cheney read the messages about witness tampering, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

Trump literally wanted armed people to be allowed into the capitol. THIS WAS ALL FUCKING PLANNED. HE DESERVES TO DIE IN PRISON.

It's unprecedented. This is the first time Trump has tried to strangle someone who wasn't a female subordinate.

Friendly reminder Mike Pence is a coward that should be testifying but chooses not to because he's a nutcase.

Trump wanting the metal detectors removed and stating "They're not here to hurt me. Let my people in. Let them March to the Capitol after this." The President knew armed people were in his crowd before he gave a speech. He then instructed a mob, which had armed people in it, to March to the Capitol. *Norm McDonald mode activated* Guys I think this Trump guy wanted to see people get hurt and shot.

https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2020/11/what-if-trump-refuses-concede/616424/ Published on September 23 2020 >"The worst case, however, is not that Trump rejects the election outcome. The worst case is that he uses his power to prevent a decisive outcome against him. If Trump sheds all restraint, and if his Republican allies play the parts he assigns them, he could obstruct the emergence of a legally unambiguous victory for Biden in the Electoral College and then in Congress. He could prevent the formation of consensus about whether there is any outcome at all. He could seize on that uncertainty to hold on to power."

at this point i am convinced that the only reason Trump didn't issue those blanket pardons to everyone else involved is because he was pissed at them for failing

Mick Mulvaney https://twitter.com/MickMulvaney/status/1541844207974899714?t=SY4NQpjPAwbj43kgpyviWg&s=19 > My guess is that before this is over, we will be hearing testimony from Ornato, Engle, and Meadows. > This is explosive stuff. If Cassidy is making this up, they will need to say that. If she isn't they will have to corroborate. > I know her. I don't think she is lying.

A lot of bombshells today but the biggest was saved until the end IMO. Witness tampering is generally extremely frowned upon

This poor woman is going to get insane levels of abuse and shaming by the MAGAs

Trump and Fox say this is unfair because no one is telling Trumps side. Keep in mind the committee has indicated they would give him all the time he wants...so long as he does so under oath. The response...crickets.

People will latch onto and joke about the ketchup and flipping tablecloths and whatnot but it's important to not let that overshadow that he knew the crowd had armed members beforehand and still sent them to the capitol. He knew they weren't there to hurt him so he wanted to stop the metal detection to get to his speech area so he could have a full crowd which could then go to the capitol from there. And then he physically assaulted his own detail and grabbed the steering wheel of the beast so he could go to the capitol with his armed supporters.

I’d feel much better about the Republican Party if they actually invoked the 25th amendment. Like.. I’d understand that they were still sleezeballs but at least they cared about the country as a whole? But they didn’t. And they don’t.

This makes Watergate look like a high school class president election scandal.

Speculating here, BUT it sure seems like this hearing wasn’t announced for an important reason: To protect the witness from ruthless, powerful, rich people communicating with violent extremists who might threaten her, her family, etc.

"suddenly discovered some courage you had hidden somewhere" Southern gentleman, Bennie Thompson, with his own version of "bless your heart."

It seems like Fox News was a part of the Whitehouse. Not sure if anyone Is complaining cnn or npr weren’t texting advice! Fox needs to be censured for their fuckery

There is nothing I love more than hearing Liz drag that spineless sack of shit McCarthy.

Flynn, a fucking US General, took the 5th when asked if he believed in the peaceful transfer of power. Wow!

They’re actually showing this on Fox News. Either shit is about to hit the fan or it’s just cause it’s 12

The Murdoch Empire has been trying to transition their fanbase from Trump to DeSantis for the past year or so. This might be a signal they’re ready to shove him off a cliff.

“As an American, I was disgusted.” HELL YEAH

It ends with Mark Meadows asking for a pardon. Wow! What a ride!

Oh shit, he basically invited people who perjured themselves to try again.

"suddenly you remember things you couldn't previously recall" = "you dun' fucked up if you don't talk to us now!"

> "He wants me to let you know that he's thinking about you. He knows you're loyal, and you're going to do the right thing when you go in for your deposition." Creepy af

Melania Trump's Chief of staff texted her on Jan 6th asking her to tweet 'there is no place for violence in democracy' and Melania replied that she wouldn't do it. Worst First Lady in history! She's probably worse than the First Lady of the Confederacy.

Imagine what Trump does to his undocumented staff at Mar-A-Lardo if he’s willing to fight the SS. Edit: I meant ‘Largo’ but God had other plans.

This wasn't said explicitly... but Trump intentionally set up the Capitol police officers to be overwhelmed and ultimately killed. That was deliberate.

Did I hear that right? People with AR15 IN TREES?

Diet Coke Hall Putsch

Let this be a lesson: Fascists always turn against each other. Fascist governments are inherently unstable. If you need more proof, look at 1930s Germany and Italy. Mussolini was publicly executed at the end of World War II. *By his own people.*

Gen. Flynn needs to be tried for treason. JFC what a disgrace to the uniform.

WOW - Fox News is absolutely stunned and they are throwing Trump under the bus.

Cheney pulls a Steve Jobs: "Oh but one more thing..." FELONY WITNESS TAMPERING, a whole new set of crimes!

"January 6th is going to be a great day." - Rudy Colludy.

Just think, Rudy could have gone quietly into retirement with his reputation as "America's Mayor" and his post-9/11 leadership intact. Instead, he decided to hitch his wagon to the fascism train and is not being implicated as one of the chief organizers of the January 6th riot. Smart move there, Rudy. Real 40D checkers.

The fact I'm only 90% sure that Trump will never be president again instead of 100% sure is a massive massive indictment of our electorate.

We've been begging this entire time, "Why won't someone step up and tell the truth?" She may very well be that person here today and she's going to need the support of a nation because the opposing side is going to come at her with everything they have.

https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1541846400836714496 > Fox News's Bret Baier describes Hutchinson's testimony as "stunning" and "compelling"

Hutchinson confirms that Meadows, after emerging from the room with Trump, said that Trump expressed Pence deserved to be hung and the rioters were justified.

Tonight on Tucker: Why Trump was right to assault a Secret Service agent.

I find it gross that news hosts have a direct line to the Chief of Staff.

Trump reading transcripts is 100% the most unbelievable part of this hearing.

Living through multiple historical events has not been nearly as fun as I would've hoped.

Hutchinson knew: -Meadows was warned of violence on January 6th. -House counsel told Trump his plan was illegal. -She witnessed Meadows burning documents after meetings. -She said she heard Trump agree with rioters when they shouted “Hang Mike Pence”

She also knew which congresspeople asked for pardons

Cassidy has already testified four times with the committee. I’m guessing they are calling her in to this hurried meeting because they may have found some evidence of what she has stated earlier. This also explains the worries about protecting her. Interesting.

She has likely received credible death threats from people within the Republican Party.

This. The more I think about, the more I suspect somebody was dumb enough to threaten her on voicemail. Rambling, incriminating voicemails to the wrong people is a very Rudy move.

Who the fuck would have ever imagined that a white house Chief of staff aid would say "ketchup dripping down the walls" under oath in a congressional hearing about the president... This episode of black mirror is fucked.

It was actually smart how they led off her testimony by showing her fraternizing with all the GOP politicians. So no one could question her Republican bona fides.

Well, Hunter Biden is trending on Twitter, so the facists are expecting a bad day.

I love how they always bring him up. Like who cares about his laptop y’all tried to overthrow the entire country lol

https://twitter.com/JoyceWhiteVance/status/1541838613574549505 > Knowing people in the crowd were armed, Trump demanded USSS take down magnetometers to let people into the ellipse rally & then Trump directed the mob to go to the Capitol.

Imagine being 25, thinking you have an awesome job and then having to testify in front of a Congressional committee and spending the rest of your life getting death threats from terrorists.

I'm a little behind but Holy fuck, Trump attacked a secret service agent to try and have them take him to the capitol?! Like, grabbed him by the neck for not letting him go lead the insurrection himself?

Trump thinks Pence should get hung, but Pence is still backing the man child

He’s basically saying “y’all are about to be totally fucked - this is your last chance to flip”

I’m a little behind but holy fucking shit Flynn taking the fifth to being asked if he believed in the peaceful transition of power!

When a young, impressionable, completely loyal aid suddenly turns on you during a historically televised Congressional hearing... That's how you know Mark Meadows is in for some rough shit.

If Trump & Co don't get in some SERIOUS shit after all this then this country is finished. I mean, he could be president AGAIN in a couple of years. Then what?

The President of the United States Knowingly let armed people March on Congress, because he was concerned about the crowd size and knew they were not there to target him. This is Sedition, by a sitting President of the United States. Indict Trump. Now.

Well. Hunter Biden is trending. You know what that means. Something big is about to drop that the GOP does not want you (their voters) to see.

Yup all they got is "DEFCON LEVEL LAPTOP" cause mccarthy sat on his balls by not putting any R's on the panel.

McCarthy’s decision of pulling all of his picked Republicans from the committee is really biting him in the ass right now. They had a legit opportunity to help frame the narrative of the insurrection in some kind of light favorable to them. But instead they get nothing.

They also could have had someone on the inside spoiling these surprises.

Oh shit, it has to do with events IN the whitehouse?! This is gonna be good!

Reminder that Meadows was referred for contempt 196 days ago... haul his ass in already

This motherfucker had the nuclear codes for 4 years. It's a wonder we're still a species.

Flynn plead fifth on ‘**peaceful transition of power**’ question! How to say you’re a traitor without saying you’re a traitor!

“As an American, I was disgusted.” Same girl, same.

And the worst nightmare just came to pass. The hearings are showing for all the world to see that Trump was willing to burn this country to the ground just so he could be in charge of the ashes. Anyone who still supports this is a traitor.

https://twitter.com/MickMulvaney/status/1541844207974899714 Mick Mulvaney tweet: My guess is that before this is over, we will be hearing testimony from Ornato, Engle, and Meadows. This is explosive stuff. If Cassidy is making this up, they will need to say that. If she isn't they will have to corroborate. I know her. I don't think she is lying.

Knowing that Ms Hutchinson isn’t entitled to the level of Secret Service protection and security, coupled with knowing how how far towards violence some of Trump’s supporters have shown they’re willing to go for him, is really heartbreaking. I hope that only will she be safe but also feel safe; I cannot imagine the feeling of such a weight on your shoulders when you are in the hot seat sharing this information live and to the world….even if you had made the choice to want to share that information, it does not make it any easier or less stressful.

Mob tactics. Witness threats. No Republican deserves any votes in any election moving forward. This is not a party anymore, it is a mob empire.

I’m thinking they have another White House insider wanting to flip and now testify. Getting this testimony on the public record here’s a way of telling this other person that we have a real good idea of everything that went on so we will know if you’re not being forthcoming in your testimony.

Hutchinson testifies Guiliani told her Trump planned on "going to the Capitol" on Jan 6 She immediately told Meadows and he said things could "get real real bad" on Jan 6

Reminder, 2A was intended to *prevent* a tyrannical government, not to create one. All those people from the 6th need to take a civics class... in prison.

Donald Trump knew the people in the crowd were armed, but not armed to harm him. Then told them they would March to the capital. Holy fucking shit.

This is 1000x worse than, "Just say the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congress."

And we haven't even fucking dipped into the documentary film guy's stuff yet...

Regardless of anything else today, just remember that Cassidy Hutchinson's life is going to be threatened in every conceivable way after this, she will be dragged through the mud, called every name possible, and that she is probably, more than anyone who has testified so far- going to save the Republic.

Hold on, was his code name MOGUL? Of fucking course

A larger-handed man may have gotten away with murder.

Uh-oh…the donald and his allies should be getting very nervous - the ketchup is on the wall!

According to another post, this is what Donald Trump said on another social media site that allows him to have an account: > "There is no cross-examination of this so-called witness. This is a Kangaroo Court!" What's fucking hilarious is that 100% of the questions came from a Republican Vice Chair (Liz Cheney), and the Republicans CHOSE not to seat anyone on the committee. Besides that, it's not a court of law so how could there be cross-examination? This is a congressional investigation. Donald Trump is not very intelligent. That poor ketchup.

So, to go through this in order: 1. They were aware that violence would probably happen. 2. They said "take away the metal detectors". 3. They instructed the (armed) crowd to go down to the Capitol. This is it. This is the evidence to indict Trump. All of it. As a juror, this is the amount I'd need, assuming that we were talking about a Democratic president, to indict. Right here.

Liz Cheney is exactly the right person to be asking these questions. She's a lifelong Republican from the most Republican background possibke. You just know that the Mark Meadows and Kevin McCarthys of the world are dying inside to see not only a young woman tear them apart, but there's Republican Liz Cheney leading the fucking effort.

Thank you Cassidy Hutchinson for your testimony! People may be focused on the temper tantrums, broken dishes, ketchup on the wall, grabbing the steering wheel of the limo, etc., but it is also clear from Hutchinson's testimony that all the WH legal counsel knew that everyone would be in serious legal trouble if Trump marched with the crowd to the Capitol. That tells me that THEY ALL KNEW what was in store. They knew the rioters were going to attack the Capitol. They knew there would be violence. They wanted some small shred of deniability and they didn't want Trump to march with the riot crowd. Other bombshells: Trump wanted SS to not use metal detectors. Trump said something to the effect of "they aren't going to hurt me". He knew there was violence planned, he wanted violence, he didn't want the rioters weapons taken away. Also, Hutchinson was trying to talk to her boss Mark Meadows and he slammed the car door on her (twice) while he talked on the phone for 25+ minutes. So many others knew what was going on and have not come forward or have not told the whole story. Now that Hutchinson has told her story, there are dozens of others that need to go on record and answer to her claims. Meadows needs to be grilled. I mean, this guy is guilty as hell and he needs to answer questions. Who was he talking to for 25 minutes while his aide was trying to fill him in on the riot? I feel like this committee is just heating up. and let me also add: Fuck Trump and fuck everyone else who hasn't come clean yet!

Cassidy Hutchinson on how she felt seeing Trump's 2:24pm tweet condemning Pence: "As an American, I was disgusted. it was unpatriotic. It was un-American."
