Fairy has completely disappeared after name screen?

Fairy has completely disappeared after name screen?

LucidLadyGames

talked to all three NPCs over and over. i still have that one sip of honey wine, it didn't get consumed. but there's no trace of the fairy whatsoever. no special jar of honey, no fairy wings, no petal. i just gave the fairy queen my last two fairy petals (took them from my other characters), and once again the fairy name screen came up. I did exactly the same thing I did before, but this time the fairy stayed. actually, the first time i tried feeding it the sip of honey wine before the name screen showed up. maybe something about doing that confused the game into deleting my fairy? frustrating...

That’s an odd problem, sounds like it’s working now though? You know how to take the fairy out and put away?

LucidLadyGames

yeah, i click the fairy info button and the fairy screen shows up. How does the fairy get experience, by the way? I still really don't know how i got screwed out of my first fairy, tho. other than trying to feed it the drink before the name screen showed up, i did everything else the same. i just simply didn't know that the name screen would show up that first time. seems like an easy mistake to make.

you level up a fairy by making it consume base gear or the special honey, i would suggest grinding an area that drops lots of green weapons to consume or buy lemoria armor of the market since that gives the most xp outside of the pearl shop wine to my knowledge.

It could be that you weren't able to get the fairy since it disappeared and you had to redo everything again. By feeding it Honey, I'm guessing you meant putting the honey by the tree and summoning the fairy? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing it accidentally got released because it wasn't named so it kind of reset. It's just an assumption though. I could be wrong. It's been so long since I got my fairy so I don't quite remember. But to answer your question about giving your fairy experience, the fairy gets experience by feeding it Sweet Honey Wine, Ornette's Dark Honey Wine and by feeding it Weapons and Armor. Not accessories though. Just click Growth on the Fairy Information window and click the item. Blue gear gives better xp than green gear, but if you were grinding somewhere with a lot of armor/weapon drops (like the Abandoned Mines) a good way to get rid of all the extra weight is by feeding the dropped weapons/armor to your fairy.

LucidLadyGames

No. What I mean when i said i fed the fairy is that I spoke to the NPC farthest to the right, and saw a fairy highlighted on the list with one honey wine. I clicked that, and then the naming screen showed up, and my fairy disappeared. I'm fairly certain I did everything right the first time, seeing as I did almost everything the exact same the second time - minus talking to that NPC before the naming screen showed up. And wouldn't I have had to dismiss the first fairy in order to roll a second with the two petals? I didn't have to do that. Frustrating. Because in the few seconds I had with that first fairy, I saw that it was a tier 3 fairy. This new one is tier 1... is it possible to raise a fairy up from tier 1 to tier 4? If you feed it enough honey wine, you get a guaranteed chance to promote it to the next tier, right? and you can promote it all the way up to tier 4? or am i confused?

You just exchanged it for the honey wine. That NPC is to turn in unwanted fairies.

LucidLadyGames

what? oh jesus lol i'm just stupid then. sorry everyone...

You get the fairy from the NPC and it looks like butterfly wings in your inventory, you open it from there to get your fairy and then level it from feeding it sweet honey wine or gear like they said above. I’m guessing if you clicked on it in an NPC menu it’s likely you accidentally traded your tier 3 fair for sweet honey wine. That may not be the case but it kinda looks like that from here. I’d recommended trading in the tier 1 and not doing anything with it. If you don’t have a lot of petals to burn you can AFK fish at night, I get anywhere between 1 and 4 a night but my fishing level and gear are high. You want a tier 3 or 4 fairy ideally but what you are going for out of everything is max level miraculous cheer, have the fairy auto pot for you will be a game changer. I know people who only use that and feather step so in theory could get by with really only a tier 2 fairy. Long story short there are a bunch of great vids on YouTube, sorry you got a bit of a run around but I think the fairy how to videos would help you, I watched probably all of them about a dozen times while I was making mine. It costs a lot of time and silver to get a fairy set up the best way possible. You can P2W to save the time if you want but that’s up to you.

From what the folks who replied said, yep. You traded your fairy for honey wine. The npc on the right trades your fairies. It's possible to raise a fairy from t1 to t4. You need to get it to max level first. So yes, you can raise it from t1 to t4. Although, I suggest focusing on investing on a T3. You can keep using the t1, especially if it learns the skill that automatically gives you potions or Fairy's Tear which can revive you for free. For a fairy guide, I suggest this link: https://www.blackdesertfoundry.com/fairy-guide/ I hope it helps!

It’s been a long time since I got mine, but talk to the npc again? Did it replace the item back into your inventory for you to start the spawning and naming again? I’ve never heard of the specific problem you just ran into.
