Yes, it's a quad core CPU with hyper threading, that's alright for today's standards in laptops. How long it lasts depends on what you are going to do with your laptop.
I'll be using it through my college plus masters so basically until it dies 🙃
And I'm short on money else would've gone for the Ryzen 5500u
I'll be using it for casual gaming, coding... And maybe a bit of Blender and Unreal Engine (that is, if I get time to, otherwise gaming and coding are primary tasks).
That's relatable... I've got an i3-3217u still going strong (basically can't do anything except some spreadsheets, music and a bit of browsing) cause of Linux...

For coding it should be good, but only usable for light gaming unless it has a dedicated graphics card.
Yeah has a 4 GB GTX 1650 GDDR5... I guess I should be good
Relevant would mean that they would still get recommendet so No... But its an alright cpu quad core with hyperthreading so its still decent
So you think I'll be okay with everyday tasks 5 years down the line?
Hard to say im no magician. Depends how the tech evolves. But i i think you are good for atleast another 2-4 years with that cpu.
Alright thanks for the advice.
If not even longer, there are people with nearly a decade old CPUs still running their system
