If there's any QB you can't feel too bad about blowing that lead, it's Tom Brady.
If there's any QB you *should* feel badly about blowing that lead, well...
In a weird way this really gives me a lot of peace. Like, just look what our players can accomplish with competent coaching. If we can just get a smart offensive minded HC in we should be able to get a lot better quickly
I am picturing you at an animal or zoo type enviroment looking on as CMC is running around.
Cmc briefly looks towards you as if he almost recognizes you.
But as you want to reach out and say "hi"
He turns and scampers off with deebo, aiyuk and kittle
You choke back a tear and tap the glass
"There you go buddy.. run free..."
This was beautiful. Carolina is the only team in the division that doesn't bother me cause they're so weirdly bad. But, here in the NFCS, we're all weirdly fucking bad.
Morris defense is so easy to read. CB play soft so just take the short passes. The fact that the raiders refused to change their offense to take advantage of the rams is a joke
But the Browns couldn't make it work and they're well known for their ability to create top tier QBs, so obviously if neither of those two teams turned him into Tom Brady then he is a piece of shit /s
Which was 2 years ago. People keep talking about Baker like he is 38 and on the verge of retirement. He is barely off his rookie contract. He went from a promising young QB with a few aspects of his game to clean up to a terrible, never good, completely washed QB after 1 year that he really should have sat out due to injury and a handful of starts in the dumpster fire that is the Carolina QB room. Granted, Jeff Saturday also beat these Raiders days after being plucked from a TV studio, so I do think Baker has a bit more to prove, but anyone who has already completely written him off and view him on the same level as Josh Rosen or Nathan Peterman are morons.
THANK YOU!! As a Baker truther this has been what I've been preaching. I'm not saying he's some elite talent but the dude has had Hue Jackson, Kevin Stefanski with two different OCs, and Matt Rhule as his coaches. He was the first overall pick for a reason and like you said is only two years removed from leading the Browns to the divisional round and BARELY losing to Mahomes and the Chiefs.
The Raiders not only lost to a coach with no Head coaching experience at the College or NFL level but they've now also lost to a QB who has only been on the team for two days
He’s the only LA Rams QB to ever win with 10 seconds left in the second week of December of the 2022 season. Crazy to think how slim the odds of him being the only one to do it as QB on that team
It is crazy that there's like a whole organization of people putting the Pirates on the field.
Like there's *a lot* of people whose whole job is supporting some aspect of that organization just for them to be so laughably god awful.
It's going to get weird. All 4 of the Rams remaining games are winnable and they might be favored in a couple of them. If Baker was ever going to succeed, he should really jump on this opportunity.
His hype during that final drive was the first time I've seen that all season. That McVay sideline hype is one of my favorite parts about this team over his tenure here and he hasn't had a chance to show it much this season. That final drive was peak McVay.
I can't wait to see the locker room speech they always post on social media after wins.
Yeah but everyone is on the hate Browns bandwagon because of the rapist, so they won’t talk about those years unless it’s in a “fuck you Browns” context.
Also, fuck you Browns.
Sometimes it's hard to hate someone who hates themselves so much.
I remember we were once like you. Maybe 67 documented accusations less but I know, we've been there.
At least the rest of your team is pretty cool.
To be fair everyone (including Browns fans) wanted to conveniently forget his two good seasons with the Browns because the narrative was "that Browns team was good and carried Baker Mayfield, who sucks and has always sucked". Even though it's kinda hard to carry a QB for two whole seasons without them at least being an acceptable NFL starter (even if you could still argue they might not be elite).
Hear me and rejoice! You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Mayfield. You may think this is suffering. No... it is salvation. The universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile... for even in death, you have become children of Baker.
I live and Colorado and my family is bunch of diehard Broncos fans. Rams bros, can you tell us what it’s like to have a newly acquired QB win a game in the final moments?
Imagine a few years ago when the Goff Rams were all in every year and in the playoffs every year - that they’d end up with a QB room with Stafford and Baker.
What the fuck, it was nearly identical to the ending of the buccs saints game on monday too. Scored their first TD with 3 minutes left then scored a TD again with timennearly running out.
You have to give it to baker to be able to adjust to what the offensive calls were for probably 15 plays. With the starter out for the rest of the year… could be a problem come next spring… you dont ever want there to be indecision at the qb slot
I know this was a relatively quick release but Mayfield looks so poised with a clean pocket. I hope no one ever doubted his talent. When healthy he is a legitimate starting quarterback who has had to carry way too much weight.
Press man one on one with a rookie vs the Rams best remaining receiver with no safety help. You know they HAVE to go end zone. Insanely terrible defensive call
Two games in a row, two blown 16-3 leads
damn that’s crazy. *exits conversation quietly*
Wouldn’t know anything about it. No *sir*
🤔 no sir, I don’t like it.
The least safe lead in football
Imagine scoring 16 points. Couldn’t be my Broncos.
I don't want to talk about it. I hate football. I hate football. I hate football. See y'all sunday...
If there's any QB you can't feel too bad about blowing that lead, it's Tom Brady. If there's any QB you *should* feel badly about blowing that lead, well...
...it's John Wolford and whatever backup they managed to rustle up off the street?
I'm not gonna lie I feel 100x better now that this same scenario happened against a non-Brady QB
Yeah, at least we only blew double-digit leads one game at a time.
Imagine if a 12 point larger lead was broken, that would be even crazier if it ever happened
Fortunately, that’s impossible. No team could give up a 25 point lead after not even letting their opponent get a touchdown to that point.
And if that ever happened, surely that team--nay, that franchise--would have no choice but disband in shame.
I dunno guys, I'm drawing a real blank on who you're talking about.
God fucking damn it
At least they score 16 points 😅
16-3 is the new 28-3.
Fuck yeah, Baker. That was awesome.
NFC South, the division for teams that can't play football good but can do other things good.

Good for Baker Shame on the Raiders
Josh McDaniels lost to the midweek hire of Jeff Saturday and a team that signed Baker two days ago lmfao
Aaron Donald out too and they only scored 16
Rams sub has it out for Raheem Morris, and to everyone else he's a rising star at DC.
Morris defense is so easy to read. CB play soft so just take the short passes. The fact that the raiders refused to change their offense to take advantage of the rams is a joke
He’s been a “rising star” at DC since 08. Hell it landed him a HC job in 09. He’s an average to above average DC. Always has been, always will be.
The shutout against Dennis Allen is somehow worse than any 4th quarter they’ve blown up multiple possessions, however.
To be fair we also lost to a guy coaching his first professional game, so this is consistent.
The Raiders will probably be Saturday’s only win as a coach!!
I kind of want him to be successful just for laughs
Saturday is a likeable guy. But no way, sadly. The Raiders win was because…it was the Raiders.
And they say we don’t have records! I am in pain.
And somehow won 3 in a row in between. Just enough to get our hopes up again before fucking us all over again.
Good for baker, bad for our draft pick, shame on the raiders.
McDaniels is so fuckin bad
McDaniel played that game not to lose vs to win. That never ever works out
What if Baker isn’t washed but Carolina was just a black hole for QB’s this year?
This year?
Lmao my thought exactly
Hey now. Broncos idk if you want this convo. I also don’t. If you know history beyond say this year.
I need Peyton Manning back in my life, hell I’d take Tim Tebow or Jake Plummer if he was good to go. Anything else please.

McVay is about to get Mayfield a nice big contract from a contender that is "only a QB away."
Which could very possibly just be the Rams again.
Which in this case hopefully works out again.
Can confirm.
But the Browns couldn't make it work and they're well known for their ability to create top tier QBs, so obviously if neither of those two teams turned him into Tom Brady then he is a piece of shit /s
Last time Baker was healthy in Cleveland for a full season they had their best year in 30 years.
Don’t forget Freddy Kitchens
Lots of people want to forget Freddy Kitchens. Although if you're gonna remember Hue Jackson, might as well remember Freddy Kitchen.
I’ve been saying this and people are like “well he got outplayed by….” And both other guys who “out played him” have sucked just as bad.
You don’t have to yell at the clouds. Bengals fans know that Baker has *always* been a Top 25 QB in this league. He’s a starter, for better or worse.
Quick, someone save Sam Darnold before it’s too late!
Surely no other team has been known for ruining QBs even worse though, right?
Subscribe
Best Broncos highlight this season.
No kidding, first time in multiple games that I FELT something
LET’S RIDE
Baker beat the Raiders, something that Russ didn’t do in either opportunity.
So long as Raiders suffer with us I will be content
Damn, our 2nd pick is off the table it seems
Raiders gonna Raider unfortunately
Should have to walk back to Vegas! Disgraceful!
Josh said “It’s McDaniels’ing time” then Mcdanieled all over the Rams!
Can McDaniel come home, because the fat stepdad is worse…
But he's a rocket scientist, haven't you heard?
As a Seahawks fan, I feel so conflicted.
The Raiders not only lost to a coach with no Head coaching experience at the College or NFL level but they've now also lost to a QB who has only been on the team for two days
They also blew like a 17 point lead against us. Sad.
And the Cardinals.
No no, that was a 20 point lead.
And the chiefs
It was such a Raiders performance. Tons of silly penalties giving away first downs left and right.
Let Baker Bake
Is Baker Mayfield the greatest QB in LA Rams history?
Greatest QB in LA* History
Greatest QB*
Greatest*
He’s the only LA Rams QB to ever win with 10 seconds left in the second week of December of the 2022 season. Crazy to think how slim the odds of him being the only one to do it as QB on that team
good for Baker, legitimately happy to see him succeed
Freed him from the Rhule/Mcadoo vortex!
Unironically demote Carolina to the XFL next season
PJ Walker MVP

This is why we need relegation in the NFL
All major sports leagues should have it. Imagine if the Pirates were reduced to a double-A team.
It is crazy that there's like a whole organization of people putting the Pirates on the field. Like there's *a lot* of people whose whole job is supporting some aspect of that organization just for them to be so laughably god awful.
True but remember, as bad as they were Cincinnati ended up with the same record and Oakland was actually worse.
Maybe Nutting would sell them and we'd finally be free!
PFL, Poverty Football League, inaugural teams are Browns, Panthers, Jags, and Texans?
Yeah, call up the Battlehawks in their place. They were awesome back in 2020.
Baker truthers rejoice!
*THE BAKERY IS OPEN*
It's going to get weird. All 4 of the Rams remaining games are winnable and they might be favored in a couple of them. If Baker was ever going to succeed, he should really jump on this opportunity.
It took McVay all of 2 days to coach the Browns and Panthers out of Baker
His hype during that final drive was the first time I've seen that all season. That McVay sideline hype is one of my favorite parts about this team over his tenure here and he hasn't had a chance to show it much this season. That final drive was peak McVay. I can't wait to see the locker room speech they always post on social media after wins.
He's like Gandalf blasting out the corruption from the king of Rohan.
"I will draw you, Cleveland, as poison is drawn from a wound"
This is why we come to Reddit.
To be fair he had 2 good seasons with browns
Yeah but everyone is on the hate Browns bandwagon because of the rapist, so they won’t talk about those years unless it’s in a “fuck you Browns” context. Also, fuck you Browns.
We’ve been making fun of the Browns for years before that
Yeah but now you don't have to worry about feeling mean about it
I hate me more than I hate everyone else 😤
Sometimes it's hard to hate someone who hates themselves so much. I remember we were once like you. Maybe 67 documented accusations less but I know, we've been there. At least the rest of your team is pretty cool.
Personally, 66 documented accusations are where I draw my line
☝🏽
To be fair, the Browns DID hire the rapist.
And Guarantee him a quarter of a Billion dollars.
Luckily they didn't coach him much so there wasn't a whole lot to get rid of lol
The Panthers really have an amazing talent to take a mediocre quarterback and turn them into something unbelievably atrocious.
I owe you an apology, I wasn’t really familiar with your game
Baker woke up feeling dangerous today…
#WOT N TARNATION
No fucking way lmao
I don't care how well he plays for the rest of the season, I'm just happy he's had at least this one redemption game.
Hear me and rejoice! You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Mayfield. You may think this is suffering. No... it is salvation. The universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile... for even in death, you have become children of Baker.
Baker’s moving in.
Baker vs Russ xmas day, get your griddles ready, we gon have a cookoff
I’m proud of that dude fuck all you haters
Baker bros our time has come
I'M SO HYPED DUDE
The Baker redemption arch, holy shet
Where were you when Baker Mayfield rose from the dead?
I live and Colorado and my family is bunch of diehard Broncos fans. Rams bros, can you tell us what it’s like to have a newly acquired QB win a game in the final moments?
Never been a Baker fan…until tonight. Good for that guy. Heck of a last 5 mins.
Happy for him
Baker is only one TD away from tying Russ with 8 on the season. Granted, he hasn’t played every game like Wilson has.
And has like $200m less on his contract. That Wilson trade was a franchise killer.
Imagine a few years ago when the Goff Rams were all in every year and in the playoffs every year - that they’d end up with a QB room with Stafford and Baker.
Baker Mayfield is the best QB of all time and I will hear no arguments.
If he does somehow go on to multiple pro-browls and we're stuck over here with Deshaun Cosby..... Probably is what's going to happen knowing our luck.
Imagine what Baker could have done if he had 72 hours as a Ram?
FUCK DUDE OUR DRAFT PICK
Raiders D 🤝Lions D pre MCDC
Rams baker is the goat don't @ me
Baker is going to win a superbowl with the rams
RIP Matthew Stafford’s ad money
Goodbye Pizza Pizza, hello At Home with Baker Mayfield.
Those were two amazing fucking throws wow
The first and only time I’ve actively been cheering on the Rams to comeback and win
CMC? he’s a DAWG. BAKER? he’s a DAWG. MCADOO? He’s DAWG **SHIT**
What the fuck, it was nearly identical to the ending of the buccs saints game on monday too. Scored their first TD with 3 minutes left then scored a TD again with timennearly running out.
Idk why but Baker in a Rams jersey just fits to me for some reason, can’t really explain it
Browns fan. Happy as fuck for the guy! Great to see him do well.
I’m happy for Baker. I hope this is the start of his redemption.
BAKE THIS INTO MY VEINS
So glad I tuned into this otherwise boring game. That was such a great ending.
Baker Mayfield Revenge Game vs Green Bay and Rodgers on a Monday night? Sign me up
I REGRET CLOSING THE GAME WHEN BAKER GOT SACKED
If only you had asked literally any Raiders fan first...
League fucked.
League ain't ready for Ramily Baker.
Thank you rams
Baker saw that ball on the two and said “Fuck it I’m gonna win this game AND give Cleveland fans ptsd flashbacks to the Drive.”
Don’t slap the ball out of a QBs hand.
It’s Bakin Time
Baker now has as many wins with the rams as he had with the panthers
No more Baker Slander allowef
McVay you son of a bitch put this kid behind Stafford next year the world's our oyster
What the hell do you mean BEHIND???
Hopefully behind a functional o-line
My next jersey purchase has to be a Mayfield Rams jersey I'll wear it to the next matchup against the raiders
Happy for Baker
Baker just guaranteed himself a contract somewhere next year with that drive
JEEEERRRRYYY TILLLERRRYYYY BABEY
Some amazing throws by baker on those 2 drives
You have to give it to baker to be able to adjust to what the offensive calls were for probably 15 plays. With the starter out for the rest of the year… could be a problem come next spring… you dont ever want there to be indecision at the qb slot
Good for him, not even mad
[удалено]
He’s prob just numb at this point
I’m very mad.
That penalty for slapping the ball
They're in the "acceptance" phase.
I am yes, 3 in a row ain't shit in the league
What the fuck is that flair homie?
I would be very mad…
bahahahahahahaha
As a human, this make me happy af!
RAIDERS WHAT HAPPENED?????
what a dime
Just fucking end me
I SAT THROUGH 50 MINUTES OF DOG ASS FOOTBALL FOR THIS!!! LET'S GOOOOO!!!!
Unreal throw and catch
bakers back baby lets fucking go.
Damn bro are the panthers that terrible. Baker is is obviously talented. He’s been with the team 48 hours
Not to take anything away from the awesome throw and catch - but the commentary is just awful. No enthusiasm for a game winning play.
Lions watching their high first slowly slip away
I’m really happy for Baker Mayfield. I’m glad he got this one.
