Anyone with the "oo" sound in their name gets that treatment. I remember going to Mizzou games and yelling "SPOOOOOON" anytime Sean Weatherspoon got a tackle.
I'm pretty sure fans of all teams do this for every player with a "oooo" sound in their name. It's honestly just automatic for me haha. Even when watching on TV, I say really quietly under my breath "Cooooop" whenever he catches a pass lol
This reminds me of when the Steelers had Fooooo and Mark Bruener and I think someone else I'm forgetting and they'd all get the same treatment.
Bruuuuuuuuuu
As a young eagles fan back in the early 2000s I thought this was a specific Duce Staley thing. DUUUUUUUCE!!! And then I thought every other variation was just based on that. I no longer think this but I will always associate it with Duce.
Same here, man. I remember I was young enough that I didn't give a shit about the game but was totally blown away by the DUUUUCCCCEEEE. Instantly became my favorite player.
anybody with the double oo or makes a smilar sound in their name I'm pretty sure
The ones you mentioned and
Amari Cooper - Coooooop
Austin Hooper - Hoooooop

We tend to chant "boooo" during our offensive series
Boo Radley plays for the Bears?
Cowboys suddenly chanting "Zeeeeeeke" but when Amari Cooper was there it used to be "Cooooooop." Idk if the Browns do it now.
Indeed they do
Good to hear! It's a fun chant.
Anyone with the "oo" sound in their name gets that treatment. I remember going to Mizzou games and yelling "SPOOOOOON" anytime Sean Weatherspoon got a tackle.
They do. And we did it when he was in Oakland, too.
Ah makes sense. I didn't know for certain if they did when he was in Oakland, which is the reason I didn't say anything.
I'm pretty sure fans of all teams do this for every player with a "oooo" sound in their name. It's honestly just automatic for me haha. Even when watching on TV, I say really quietly under my breath "Cooooop" whenever he catches a pass lol
I used to do the same thing!!
Pats fans chant ZAPPE every time Mac makes a play
“Makes a play” means completes another 3 yard pass!
John Kuhn when he was playing for the packers. Miss those Kuuuuuuuuuuhn chants
I still think those rednecks were just chanting slurs, but you'd know better than me.
Coooooooop
Spruuuuuuuuuce Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce
[удалено]
We tried to chant "Tee Jay Hoosh Man Zah Duh" but we could never get the whole thing out before the next snap.
You guys too?
I seem to hear “Juuuice” from Niners fans whenever Kyle Juszczyk makes a play
this been happening since he was in Harvard
My fullbacks wicked smaht
You like offesnive weapons? How about them offensive weapons??
Anybody whose name makes an "EEEE" or "OOOO" (like "hoop") sound gets this treatment.
Those Dolphin fans really stressing the "EEEE" with tyreek
JuJu gets a "Juuuuuuuuuuuuu" in KC now
...that's um....yeah
I think Kanye is a big Juju fan.
Booooooo-urns
Give that man the ten thousand dollars!
TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE any time Tee Higgins name is mentioned in Cincy
REEEEEEEEEE any time Tyler Boyd drops a TD
Ehhhh its only happened once and we still won, ain't no bitterness there.
I've been doing TB83 since last year.
Luuuuuke was a huge one when he was playing
it always cracked me up when AJ Klein made a tackle and got LUUUUUKE chants
If Luke was anywhere near the tackle everyone chanted Luuuuke lol
Hooooov at full back.
Chris Fuamatu-Maʻafala = FOOOOOO in both PIT and JAX.
Shutchomouth
This reminds me of when the Steelers had Fooooo and Mark Bruener and I think someone else I'm forgetting and they'd all get the same treatment. Bruuuuuuuuuu
OG Mooooose Johnston
Barry when he hit a crazy run. Groans when he got tackled 5 yards behind the LOS, trying to hit a crazy run.
As a young eagles fan back in the early 2000s I thought this was a specific Duce Staley thing. DUUUUUUUCE!!! And then I thought every other variation was just based on that. I no longer think this but I will always associate it with Duce.

Steelers do it with whatever TE they have no matter how much of a stretch it is.
We actually just still did Heath for all our white TEs until Pat. Which is an indicator of Pats influence tbh
Yea they would yell Heeeaaattthhh at Jesse James.
I feel like it has more to do with Pat having an "Oooo" sound in his name than his influence lol
More likely the th ending but you're not wrong lmao
heath miller
STILL ended up sounding like hoooooooooooooo
We used to chant “Hooooooooooush” whenever TJ made a catch.
When John Kuhn was on our team regardless if we were home or on the road we always yelled "KUUUUUUHHN" whenever he touched the ball.
It’s not just Muth, any white tight end now gets the Muth chant even on the road as did HEEATH. (See Gentry last game)
Heaaaaath, Kuuuuuhhhn.
[удалено]
Uh. MelekalikiMaka?
Fred Smooooooooot
Cooper and Hooper
I always get them mixed up.
what this thread taught me is that only players with "Ooooo" sounds in their name get chants
Ezekiel elliot early in his career, and while in college, was met with “zeeeeeek” calls
anybody with the double oo or makes a smilar sound in their name I'm pretty sure The ones you mentioned and Amari Cooper - Coooooop Austin Hooper - Hoooooop
Cooper and hooper
When Tua makes a play, fans have been chanting MVP. I assume that counts.
TO had his own chant
This season we have taken to chanting Geno over and over again
I miss the old BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUU for Tedy
Maxxxxx - Crosby
Breeeeeeeeece!
DOOOOOM whenever Dumervil got a sack. I remember hearing that thru the tv
We sing Deck The Halls every time Faalele stops a pass rusher. Well I mean we don’t really, but we should.
Steelers started with Heeeeaaath for Heath Miller and it transformed into Muuuuuth. The Heeaath chant lasted through a few TEs too.
John Kuhn
Luke Kuechly, Muhsin Muhammad, and Brad Hoover with Luuuuuuuuke, Moooooooose, and Hooooooov, respectively, in Carolina.
Crowd was chanting "We want Jamo!" at the end of our last game. Does that count?
Mid 80's Jets, Al Tooooooooooooon.
Juuuuuuice
BRRUUUUUUUUUUUUCE Van Miller would have to explain everytime that it wasn't boos it was "Bruce"
All the "LUUUKEEEEE" chants Panthers fans would give Kuechly like 20 times each game since he was such a tackling machine
KUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHN
Every player ever that has a name like that. Daryl Johnston "moooooose" Cooper " coooooop"
anyone who rhymes with "boo"
