When will the “wait for it” trend just fucking die? That and putting “…and GO!” at the end of social media posts should warrant an immediate nipple cripple.
^this too. And what are we waiting for, nothing changed?
Time to spend a day binge watching the ext versions. See you tomorrow
Right there with you! Gonna be a great sunday
Wait for what? Of all the epic moments throughout that film they picked this to showcase?
Yeah because it’s one of two things: either you know the movie and the story and don’t need to be told to wait because you know what’s coming and how poignant the moment is OR you have to be told to wait because you’re not familiar with the story in which case it means nothing to you anyway. 🙄
Do you feel better?
The op said wait for it and there wasn't anything to wait for. Not anything worthy of a wait for it, anyway.
I hope your day turns around for you.
The music (and only the piece of music) being displayed is not even remotely close to nextfuckinglevel, which is what the subreddit is for. This should be posted on lotr subs, not here for some karma.
Thank you. My point exactly.
I hope you didn’t take a date with you and do this shit. Put your phone away in symphony hall
Man, this gave me chills...
Dude I am sitting here with the hairs on the arm prickling like mad and flashing back to watching this happen in the theater.
The perfect blend of pathos and haunting sound. Seeing the weight of loss in everyone’s eyes even to the point of knowing what’s going on in Pippen’s soul crushing sadness that his mistake is somehow the cause of the loss of their friend.
God damn, it’s a great trilogy.
I’d be in tears so quick…
Ah chills, literal chills!
That’s exactly what I was going to say. Wow! That’s so amazing.
It was number 5
Oh my god I forgot about that
🎶 TELL ME WHY?! 🎶
And they're multiplying!
Did they do this for entire film or just select parts?
They show the entire film. This has become a pretty popular thing to do with many orchestras.
Our local performing arts center is doing all the Harry Potter films. About 2 a year. I have tickets to one later this month.
These are awesome to see. One on the top 15 days of my life was watching Star Wars epi iv with the Philadelphia Orchestra!
10/10 gimme 2 tickets
Everything about LOTR was sheer perfection.
So when do they start adding so many onions to these videos...sniff, sniff, choke...stupid onions
Is there a name for the type of singing being performed?
I don't care what it is, anything that tells me to "wait for it" is getting immediately ignored.
Keep the film, just give me that live orchestral performance.
Let’s not talk about the elephant in the story. Couldn’t Gandalf use magic and fly Frodo to be rid of the ring? 😁
No. That's not how that works. That's not how any of that works...
And the elephant in the story is the Mumakil of Harad.
