If anyone has had a cast on, when it comes off, your wrist is emaciated and twig like. It takes time to rebuild the strength. Even once it is safe, does he have an NBA shot and handle ready? They can't just throw him out there with one arm to be embarrassed.

You're right on a lot of things, but I think Herro had a removable splint a week or two after surgery. Idk what exactly kind of surgery he had, but generally at the professional level there was some kind of setting of the bones and maybe a screw to keep the bone in place. I believe in that setting they can do some sort of range of motion/ therapy stuff at a couple weeks to prevent that full 6 week cast type of atrophy. - Because of that, the hope was that he could return around that 6 weeks.
Chris Haynes been on a slump lately: From reporting before the finals that Herro would likely return Game 3 to saying the Suns will waive CP3 yesterday.
It’s not a slump if you’re bad your whole career
It could be both true that Haynes is a bad reporter and that Herro's healing isnt going as well as they planned.
He done
Damn. This is still a huge lose
Not the hero they need right now or something
Eh. The Heat beat 3 teams without Herro. Clearly they’re not missing him that much. In this specific series, he would just be another guy that Denver’s offense could pick at. He’s never scored well in the playoffs. Even in the regular season, his best year’s he is an average efficiency scorer. Since basically everyone efficiency drops in the playoffs, we’re talking about the Heat missing an inefficient volume scorer. Doesn’t sound like some massive loss. Am I saying they’re 100% better off without him? No. But I also don’t think it’s a huge loss. It’s a loss tjay wouldn’t change the outcome of this series.
So he's really not coming back.
I'm sure this is all just gamesmanship.
death, taxes and "herro has not been cleared to play in games"
Are the Heat refusing to play Herro due to second hand embarrassment from his outfits? People are talking...
SO herros 3s instead of Duncans. Seems like a push to me. Not sure it will make a difference.
It's Herro instead of Lowry's washed ass
plus it's not like herro only shoots 3s
Herro playing at all instead of Lowry for 30 minutes.
Herro is more than a spot up 3 guy
Stan Van Gundy beside himself rn
Tyler Herro is a deceptively athletic gym rat who brings his lunch pail and hard hat to work every day.
These are playoff games not play in games.
This is why your dude can't make it through the playoffs.
Who?
MVPity
What a bum. Dude's never available when the Heat need him the most. Next year, we have to go through another season of banking on "Herro's growth and internal development" only for him to either crap the bed or get injured during the playoffs again and again. Like clockwork.
Do you think he fractured his hand diving for a loose ball on purpose?
This works in the Heat’s favor. Herro sucks.
If Lowry is injured we have no guards besides gabe
Has any report came out that Lowry is injured from last night? I know he did something to his groin doing the splits but is it anything serious?
At this point I just assume Lowry got injured if it looks like he did. I haven't seen anything but it's like the Heat to not report on things like this during the playoffs
That’s a hypothetical. As of right now, they are better without Herro. However, they could use Oladipo.
No we aren’t better without a guy who averaged 20/5/4 and had the highest net rating on the team Nuggets fans are weird, I remember when y’all were saying you were better without Jamal Murray
Heat could use another guy who can reliably create his own shot outside of Jimmy, too. Maybe he’s a problem in defense but Denver’s offensive rating is already great so I dunno if it matters that much for Miami, defensively
Herro’s not great defensively but he’s about equal to Max and better than Duncan so it would be a wash. Offensively Max is 1-23 outside of the first quarter of game 2 and Jimmy has struggled, having another 20ppg scorer who is very good in the pick and roll would be very helpful
