Kervin Arriaga makes Team of the Week (bench) in Week 1

Well deserved for Kervin. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come from him this season. He played a massive role in our road win against Dallas. Covered so much ground and helped generate some nice attacking sequences for us. Wish that free kick would have gone in, would have been an absolute banger of a goal.

He was very good in that match. He's one player that may actually improve without Reynoso on the pitch, as he'll have more time on the ball and more influence in the attacking third, where he excels. Very well deserved.

RiffRaff14

I kinda wonder what him in the #10 would look like...

Kafkas7

I think he’s more of an #8 like Gregus…can ping the ball and break up plays…I don’t think he’s got the creativity to take the keys.

mandolin08

Probably similar to Lod in that it'd be fine, but not great. He's not the dribbler Rey is.

Infinite_indecision

I understand why defenders getting goals gets them on the list, but it feels like it ignores the role of defense.

EtheralSingularity

All three of those defenders were on teams that had clean sheets as well.

Was great to see him do well, my confidence in him was shaking a bit towards the end of last season

Infinite_indecision

I kind of forgot he was still injured since he was still playing

Buffaloslim

Well deserved, he was my MOTM. Heath should have been manager of the week.

Lol I didn’t see Almada for a sec and thought I was going crazy 😂 - that said Arriaga bossed it. Cool to see a week 1 loon in totw
