Very cool that we made some intern add a new color to the scale just for our weird ass

1984 presidential election vibes

disco_infiltrator_32

😳 What if we kissed under the 1984 presidential election map 👉👈

Bigmodirty

My thoughts exactly

Beautiful_Sport5525

A step closer. Let's get out in those midterms and keep these policy changes coming.

SeaM00se

MN gop “oppsie poops we didn’t mean to do that” Public at large “No backsies”

SoReadyForItToEnd

Who has a good THC infused tater tot hot dish recipe?

KR1735

Who the heck decided to make these states red instead of green?

Dano4600

Republicans who didn't read what they were signing are already trying to cancel this bill

makeITvanasty

This is like the equivalent of trying to unsend the drunken text to your ex

Upbeat_Group2676

Except if they get enough power, they'll absolutely repeal legal THC.

makeITvanasty

Sounds like political suicide. It’s easier to excuse keeping something illegal vs making it illegal after you just made it legal. Cats already out of the bag and I don’t think conservatives are willing to give that up once they have it

Upbeat_Group2676

The Republicans don't give a shit. I legitimately believe they'll fuck us over to "own the libs" at any chance

meme_pizza

You mean after November? They can do anything about it without house support at this point. Weird downvote. Lol

dude-O-rama

So I've seen Delta 8 and 10 hemp flower. Can't they just spray THC 9 on hemp flower and sell it the same way? Which is totally stupid and hilarious at the same time.

Moose_country_plants

No, the farm bill that legalized d8 and D10 did so by not specifying enough. All it said was all hemp derived products must contain less than a certain percent (I think like .5%) D9 THC

cracksintheegg

True, but perhaps it doesn't specify that the farm bill is relevant to any execution of the law. Maybe this could be going about legalization just in a weird-ass Minnesota way - "it must come from hemp." I wonder if a case could be made that way.

Jordanjl83

Lol we snuck one past the republicans. If they could read they would be so mad right now.

NedStarksButtPlug

I love how Republicans are simultaneously so dumb that they can’t read, but apparently so clever that they can conspire to pass anti-abortion legislation in MN (at least that’s the perceived threat).

Jordanjl83

They are not clever, those white nationalist terrorists make decisions out of hatred and bigotry.

NedStarksButtPlug

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen Reddit threads that follow some variation of “Republicans are so unintelligent and incompetent” followed up with a reply of “Nah man, they know exactly what they’re doing.” It’s like which one is it?

ScotchandSadness88

Edibles only, 5mg per serving, 50mg per container, from hemp containing up to .3% THC. Such an odd policy on so many levels. Just let us have the plant man.

v0idl0gic

Where are you getting the "must be from hemp" part?

TheLadyRev

Duh the farm bill. Can't be synthetic. Look it up man

v0idl0gic

I've read conflicting opinions if it can be from cannabis, post the new law. Be nice.

Ok-Complex-3019

So… I can eat a pot brownie… but I can’t smoke it… gotcha

jjnefx

Why would you try smoking a pot brownie? :)

BeleagueredDleaguer

Definitely gonna clog your oneie pipe quick

Dathlos

In some states it's only legal to sell bud and dabs but no edibles because of appeal to children.

Submarine_Pirate

Yeah pretty funny edibles and THC drinks, the two easiest consumption methods for children to get ahold of, try, take too much of, and hide from their parents, is what we legalized. Flower is way safer.

Klaatwo

Not for your health in general. Smoking anything tobacco or cannabis isn’t good for your body. And yes cannabis isn’t as bad as tobacco but it’s worse for your body than edibles.

Submarine_Pirate

I meant safer as far as accessibility to children goes. Obviously smoking flower is probably the least healthy way to consume THC.

SoReadyForItToEnd

Flower only became legal for MN medical users a short time ago. https://www.health.state.mn.us/news/pressrel/2022/cannabis020122.html

TheDoctorOfDice

Bruh our state is basically its own country at this point with just some dabbles here and there from the US as a whole.

FatGuyOnAMoped

Edibles edibles edibles Edibles edibles edibles

bbernal956

d’oh!!! minnesota republicans trying to keep their foot on the neck of cannabis medicine.

bbernal956

no regulations…. give me some of those extremen gummies

Zach81096

Isn’t it only hemp based edibles that are legal? If so that’s basically just allowing CBD is it not?

klippDagga

Delta 9 THC is exactly the same regardless if it comes from ditch weed or high octane hydroponic cannabis. Ingest enough and you will get high.

Moose_country_plants

There are certain strains of hemp that produce THC, just in lower concentrations than actual cannabis.

NielTheGrassBison

Hemp is just an immature marijuana plant.

bbernal956

it’s the chemically thc process now allowed.
