True, but being part of cancel culture definitely means that you're not a good person.

WiredRawdy

I wasn't part of it, I just watch things on the sidelines

Prudent-Ad-545

Life is not a spectator sport.

We all believe something right? I believe that everyone is not inherently evil or bad in anyway. If you had the money you would have chosen and supported the candidate according to your own beliefs. He supports LGBTQ and has shown that numerous times by donating to cuases. He's not a bad guy just misinformed and has his own beliefs

antoboss546

nobody is evil because he is evil

a_underscore_disease

What's makes you think so?

antoboss546

tell me someone of reality or fiction that was or is evil just because he is, they all have reasons or problems

a_underscore_disease

That's exactly what I'm saying, no one is inherently evil

antoboss546

yes, so I’m saying that I agree with you

Birdboy42O

yeah, even the worst people that we would consider evil aren't evil. Unless you go into it with malice, and attempt to cause as much harm as possible you are not evil.

WiredRawdy

we aren't totally sure tbh, I'd be all for having his name clear

a_underscore_disease

I mean of course it's up to what you believe, on his reddit post he explained everything loud and clear.

What happened with FNAF? Did matpat go too far?

StupidRedditorBTW

No, cancel culture took him. What a article said about it Much of Cawthon's cancellation came from the LGBTQIA+ fan base, which claimed the developer supported public figures considered "homophobic and transphobic"

WiredRawdy

scott, was a religious funder, supporting some anti lgbt stuff, stuff got really heated

EviltwinEdgelord

I'd argue that cancel culture in itself is evil, so unless the person was super heinous standing against it is always righteous in my eyes

SumBoooooooooDe

Take away the internet and you take away the power all these tiny groups use to cancle culture

red9For_LEON

It might not make you a good person, but fighting cancel culture is always the right thing to do.
