Typically, lead time is the time it takes for manufacturing after the order is placed, which is before shipping. So when this group buy ends, it will take 60 days (approximately) to make the batch, and then they will start shipping them out, which takes some time in Itself.
A JWK Linear and Tactile. FFFF tactiles similar to koala/T1? Any differences to the stem or just a recolor? Either way its a nice option to have a canadian vendor for this. Quickish turn around as well.
Factory lube is usually not very thick so you should be good to lube right over it. I know some people like to clean off the factory lube before lubing though. Its preference really.
Sourcing switch collectors: No, seems to have never been done before.
According to Matrix Lab discord, the polishing is similar to the shine that H1s and Obsidian's exterior have. Just, now on the inside rails.
Hmm maybe they took the day from the western hemisphere and the date from the eastern. Posted when it was Friday locally to vendor and August first locally to producer.
For sure.. Once the second round or in stock sales go live I hope there's a good number of independent reviews
I'll prob write something up.. But it'll be biased most likely heh
Unfortunately Canada Post is overwhelmed so Canadian vendors are at the mercy of FedEx, Ups and DHL which explains the shipping cost. NovelKeys is in the same boat where the cheapest shipping option to Canada is 25 USD. Having DeskHero has been a good change for the Canadian mech market because we no longer get killed on duties when buying from the states (Trump killed NAFTA when he came into office and the duties and tarrifs on American goods is insane, forcing us to buy from any other country of possible). I really hope NovelKeys can find a Canadian proxy to sell their goods on day.
Henlo fren, this is Shin, I have personally talked to FF, 4F are different than our Dogikons and they will use a different shade of yellow, please buy this if you are missed out on Dogikons, cheers <3
for some further details that no one cares: ffff is the 3rd run of ff's switch gb. First run is ff, similar to Tangies rev2, made by Gateron. With a milky top, I sold a space65 built with it. [https://imgur.com/a/RPR7yjb](https://imgur.com/a/RPR7yjb) FFF is the 2nd run, as you can see via [malvix](https://store.malvix.com/collections/all/products/fff-switches-linear) and [ilumkb](https://ilumkb.com/collections/switches/products/pre-order-fff-switch).
I can see the FFF is currently on pre-order on malvix (your link). So what's the main difference between FFFF vs FFF? Thanks. (FFF is quite cheaper on malvix I think).
According to JWK: improved molds, different housing materials and internal polishing. BTW, the tactile version isn't a recolored T1. At least JWK says so. IMHO it's color preference at the end. Hope this helps.
What's the actuation force on the linears? Is it the same as [FFF, i.e. 45g](https://ilumkb.com/collections/switches/products/pre-order-fff-switch)?
Is there any more information on the tactile switches? Is the bump at the top like seals v2 and holy pandas?
Is there a sound test?
Found one https://youtu.be/TC55rO9Gh4o And one https://youtu.be/kgjI9LhSP2c
As a Canadian I am very interested in this, despite the fact that my keyboard cost less than the switches shown here. *\*cries in poor\**
Any keyboard is cool as long as you enjoy it :)
Is it possible to have the switches not prelubed?
I dont think so...but apparently theyre lightly applied. If that helps
What linears/tactile switches would this be most similar/comparable with?
Does the 60 day lead time mean it will take 60 days to ship?
Typically, lead time is the time it takes for manufacturing after the order is placed, which is before shipping. So when this group buy ends, it will take 60 days (approximately) to make the batch, and then they will start shipping them out, which takes some time in Itself.
Estimate.. I want to say 60 days to ship to customers, as always I'll update if things change
got it, it all makes sense. Thanks guys! I've always been a fan of linears, and these switches look mad promising

Are you new?
how?
Yeah seriously. Deskhero is one of the biggest Canadian vendors.
Does factory lube need to be removed to add 205g0? Is there a sound test?
Factory lube is usually not very thick so you should be good to lube right over it. I know some people like to clean off the factory lube before lubing though. Its preference really.
I will second this. I have done this and noticed no difference.
" Internal polishing is this something other switches have had?
Sourcing switch collectors: No, seems to have never been done before. According to Matrix Lab discord, the polishing is similar to the shine that H1s and Obsidian's exterior have. Just, now on the inside rails.
hey thanks for your help!
> Starts Friday Aug 1st 🤔
Started. Ha was late on posting
> Friday Aug 1st 🤔 intensifies (August 1st 2020 is a Saturday)
Look man! Do you want the switches or not :) haha I launched the gb last night after midnight and I got all mixed up Fixing thanks!
Hmm maybe they took the day from the western hemisphere and the date from the eastern. Posted when it was Friday locally to vendor and August first locally to producer.
ne proxy avail?
Good question I'll work with my vendor friends and see if we can do something about it
Interested, but also an RGB backlight guy. How much do the housings affect backlighting?
Good question - judging by the renders, it may not play nice with RGB. Not sure how the FFF was though
Saw a thread on Holy Pandas that says they don't let a lot of light through, so I might have to skip this one.
How are these compared nk dry switches?
Without much of a review or test, its really hard to bite on this....
For sure.. Once the second round or in stock sales go live I hope there's a good number of independent reviews I'll prob write something up.. But it'll be biased most likely heh
67 CAD shipping to Norway, I think I will pass on this one

We're on the same boat! If shipping prices to Norway become reasonable, I will order a batch of these linears, for sure.
Yeah, I just saw that, hard pass. Sad, I was interested in these.
So is the tactile just T1 recolor?
If I buy these, can I refer to them as Dogikons?
Henlo fren, this is Shin, I have personally talked to FF, 4F are different than our Dogikons and they will use a different shade of yellow, please buy this if you are missed out on Dogikons, cheers <3
Cheers!
*Eventually* there's gonna be 26 switches, each named with a letter of the English alphabet repeating 4 times, mark my WWWW OOOO RRRR DDDD SSSS.

and all of them will be jwk recolors, until all are one
Should I do an Optimus prime or ultra magnus jwk recolor? Mmm
Yes!
Is there any picture of the tactile? And what is the housing/stem comparable to?
Compare to zealios v1.
Just curious, where did you find this out? I desperately want a Zealios replacement, all I've found were the Rara switches.
their CN gb post, it's public but in Simplified Chinese
So it’s a completely new switch not a recolor? Of like a T1? Brand new stem?
The housing is different from T1. Different materials.
Ral7021 is the color code of the tactile’s bottom housing. Top is RAL1007, stem is RAL1015.
only the bottom housing is in different color
