Bruh when rn I can’t find a 12 without issues for under 10k lol one that needs a whole ass engine is 5k rn near me
I bought the car in July or August of this year! That being said, I'll be totally honest and say it's not the cleanest example in the world and I got the car off a friend for that price. The issues aren't too terrible and has consisted of mostly cosmetic things with other smaller things such as clear coat failure on the hood and roof, a terribly worn steering wheel, a full brake job (one of the rotors had a massive groove in it, I took the opportunity to do new rotors and pads all around), needing to replace the axle on the driver side, and other non trivial things. Also, I should mention that the shell of the car has 200K miles but the engine has roughly 100K on it. It already had some goodies on the car (BNR S1, Cobb catted DP + full exhaust, Damond trilogy engine mounts, pro tune, BC coilovers, etc). I did the crucial checks before buying the car, yes. All in all, the car has a lot of detractors but it runs great, drives great, and it's such a great daily driver. It needs work but that's okay! So what’s total cost with work? And what gen? if gen 1 it’ll probs have vvt issues soon (she looks clean though and I love the tint, what % is it?
I’m into it $7K - I didn’t do the engine swap or many of the modifications. Previous owner did. I’ve just done brakes, axle, and lots of little things up until this point. It is a first generation MS3 engine, but VVT has been done! I pulled the valve cover, checked part numbers and chain tension, too. The previous owner also has proof and receipts (if I’m not mistaken) that the VVT was very recently done, the donor car was in a wreck soon after they had the VVT work done. Regarding the tint, I’m not too sure of the percentage. It was on the car. I think it’s 25% all around. It’s really weird tint, it’s slightly red if you look from the inside out?
