I'd like to suggest you add a wall or Groyn partly across the mouth just cos otherwise this village isn't going to exist long in a storm hahaha. Its a bit like a micro version of the early layout of villages and towns near me on the south coast. Hastings is built between two big chalk hills but has a beach for protection and the coastal Glen's not far away which are really similair geographically to this but un inhabited.
It's very pretty. Doesn't strike me as likely that people would build so close to the water's edge, or right underneath cliffs. Disasters waiting to happen.
Also I'd probably make the narrow bit of water shallower. Seems unnatural to have a narrow deep channel like that.
The map looks nice but I have to agree with the comments on the buildings below the cliffs and close to the water. That deep channel in the middle may make a good deep water port but the area would be susceptible to big storms and tsunamis.
Hello! Rustymaps here! Today, I present you new map
Did you make this in inkarnate?
You did a great job with the cliffs. I always struggle giving the impression of depth to cliffs and showing which side is "down". You did well here.
Thank you! I recommend playing with highlights and shadows! Without them it looks really flat

Could be right, but probably most of them don't live there

Hmmm looks like a good map for a game.
Thank you! It will be used for multiple D&D private campaings I believe
This gives me the feeling a magical boscastle type situation could be brewing here
It looks like houses on a beach

Hi! Do you do commissions?
