Mrs A kitchen

PositivelyPete

MRSA Kitchen?

samt2985

Had my first one from there tonight, absolutely top drawer! Definitely my new go to for an Indian now

barnardcastleeyetest

Yeah it’s fantastic, tastes so fresh compared to other Indians with very good prices. The fact that the menu changes every day is a big plus too

Coulm2137

Which is probably why it's so fresh. Basically, restaurants that have circulating menu and only couple of positions in the menu are usually FAR FAR better than the ones with 50 things in the menu

vasilisathedumbass

Got to agree, love a thali from Mrs A's. Do sometimes have to go to the website to get the dish descriptions cause they aren't on deliveroo, but that's fine.

barnardcastleeyetest

Yeah I always look on there Twitter or Facebook page as they pop the menu on there then order of just eat. Tempted to get one tonight now!

cc0011

Kyotoya in Withington

dzalf

Awesome place!

Ilikeswimmingyesido

Yeahhhhhh! I’m so glad that’s still going. I haven’t lived in Manchester for years but I remember having an amazing sushi order for my birthday. They delivered it on this beautiful platter and just left it with us on trust that we would take it back the next day. I also remember their deep fried tofu being amazing!

maniac886

Levenshulme bakery. Mazaa in Longsight.

jconnor0161

Top kebabs just a shame you have to go into levenshulme for em

VeganWanker

Bhaji-Pala in Gatley (If greater Manchester counts)

CptFandango

prob the best curry i have had was from there, it usurped Vedic in Hyde as my fave !

Seanus90

Nomi Katsu - super tasty Japanese style katsu Mughli Chatcoal Pit - great Indian I knead pizza - dare you to not love the biscoff bites

Chocolaterain567

Romman, a Lebanese restaurant in Burnage

blackcurrantcat

Tibetan Kitchen. So, so fucking nice and you get a little cup of delicious chai tea while you wait for your food. I’ve got one in the kitchen now and I’m waiting til I’m absolutely famished to eat it because the level of appreciation for it will be optimal. They’re also a dead nice business who do loads for the community, the shop/restaurant is cute af and I know whatever I order will be stunning. Love, love, love this place.

itsnobigthing

They have a cafe in Hebden Bridge if you ever fancy a day out.

[deleted]

[удалено]

blackcurrantcat

They have. There’s also one in hebden bridge I think

Adept_Deer_5976

The Chai tea in there is insanely good. They used to do some bread called baleep, but they don’t seem to have it as much anymore, which is a shame. They also catered my wedding!

Oldbear-

Noi Quattro - best pizza ever!

Nhialor

Ciaooo want a word. But NQ is unreal

donnieswaggart

Sicilian chef I work with confirmed this

ApprehensiveMud352

Searched it up looks amazing nice Naples style if u like there I’d try Rudys if u haven’t already

LizardPosse

Company that owns Rudys are scumbags who believe their staff don't deserve a living wage. Guess how I know.

ApprehensiveMud352

You worked there?

LizardPosse

I can neither confirm nor deny.

titangrove

Rudy's is insanely overrated

Oldbear-

I much prefer noi over rudys!

burtsarmpson

Rudy's is maybe 5th in top five NQ pizza places

Ubiquitous1984

Oldham Star, Oldham Road in erm Oldham.

pukahontas-x

I ended up trying this place a few years back after noticing no matter what time of day or night I drove past, it was always heaving!

capriciousambiv90

Live in Whalley Range and love to have Kool Runnings and Tibetan Kitchen! Amazing food, affordable price, and nice people

Andy1723

CptFandango

Lotus in Withington

Gibs_UK

Burgerism

delqhic

Thought the burgers here were top but the fries were a bit shit. Had a better complete meal from Hash Burgers.

damnslut

The chips have got worse - very hit and miss recently.

UncleZafar

Burger and co in fallowfield is better imo

Complex_Ad4031

I thought burgerism was a bit bland. Recently tried 0161 burger in Prestwich which was really good!

Anon_767

Someone of culture I see.

Milly_man

Best takeaway burger in Manchester hands-down.

grainity

better than honest burguers?

Codle

Honest don't even come close to Burgerism

Milly_man

Different vibe/type of burger. Burgerism excel at the takeaway smashburger, where-as Honest do a thicker more adorned sort of burger with toppings and stuff. Down to personal taste after all but Burgerism are my go-to when I finish work at 1am and need that type of fix. Order from the proper store in Salford. They have a dark-kitchen venue which sometimes fucks up the food. Avoid that one.

CyrusD3nn15

Came here to say this! Allways 10/10

ChooChooRamirez

Try Burgerslut, burgerism has gone downhill, these guys are better,

BroldenMass

If you’re ever in the centre of town near band on the wall, go to Chillis and order a Fish Tikka kebab on garlic naan with garlic sauce. The best takeaway food in Manchester.

hongkongshlong

Seconded - It's the piri-piri burger for me though. The garlic sauce they do is excellent.

tellmeyoulikeme

THIS!

nameproblem

Bakehouse 32 is great Pizza

1upsarecool

Yessss love these guys

Impossible-Ad9488

Couldn't agree more!

Tonyology66

Seoul Kimchi is the best Korean food in Manchester by far

SlityMcthroaty78

Rays Chinese chippy in Haughton Green, great food and reasonably priced, I’m a regular so get things free all the time too.

Impressive-Bill2974

I really don’t get the hype for Rays. Average at best. Edit- obviously different strokes for different folks and all that 😂

turtlenecktrousers

Rays about twenty odd years ago under the old owners was ace, quality chippy and like the OG commenter said if you were a reg you'd get free stuff. Massive portions too. A few doors down was video world, a quid each for older rentals, lots of horror films. Ah the good old days 😍

Impressive-Bill2974

When I first moved to HG rays was in its old location near the post office and it was actually decent. Ever since he moved it’s not been the same. Currently he can’t even get chips right, they’re floppy and pale, he likes to give free stuff out still, something like a meat and potato pie to go with your sweet and sour chicken 😂

Ivexus_of_Derby

Cowtown Grill in Sale

ChocLife

[Rad's](https://restaurantguru.com/Rads-Manchester) in Ancoats. Destination dining level Caribbean, takeout only.

DeltaJesus

Peck & Yard, Dream Wok, Chimaek, Yoki & Bonani Bites depending on my mood.

jonsnorr

Little Yang Sing (also available to sit in). Honestly this one blew my mind and I wish I could have it every day

Mechanical_Number

Little Yang Sing is amazing. I snort those crisp chilly chickens.

shakaman_

Duck in Plum Sauce in there is maybe the best single dish you can buy in Manchester at the moment. Seriously try it out - even if you wouldn't normally order it.

jonsnorr

Please everyone needs to try the Sweet and Spicy Aubergine Ethnic Style- I never knew aubergine could taste like this

PM_ME_UR_G00CH

Probably the Athenian. Greek is one of the most underrated cuisines imo

wrboyce

Best souvlaki I’ve had outside of Athens and one of the takeaways I miss most since leaving Manchester.

bahamutzeroxx

Love it

bearhandsbearhands

Fuzion - fallowfield. Everything on the menu is great but the halloumi fried rice is insanely good.

DutchOvenDistributor

The Drop Cafe for me

Malpy42

Pinnochios Urmston - Pizza is pretty and calzones worth a go, but I think it’s mainly the nostalgia why I keep going been going there forever.

[deleted]

Tuk Tuk, Prestwich

Appropriate-Bad-9379

ShawaddyBeamboy

Mughli Charcoal Pit or Burgerism 😍😍

Technical_Win_6638

Royal Balti M23 Northern Moor. Out of this world Indian food.

Fire_Bucket

Sale Circle? Not as good as it used to be, since Mojo left a fee years ago, but still one of the best curry takeaways I've ever been to.

Technical_Win_6638

Yeah, it's the best around my area for sure. Never tried it when the previous owner was there. Would've loved to if it was even better 😊.

Karim12311

Disastrous-Ad-7173

Kabana’s in the NQ. Made a mission of trying all the kebab shops in Manchester and for the quality and price, it’s the winner for me. The kitchen is always immaculate.

npm93

The bun and bones club in Hazel grove if that counts as Manchester

ApprehensiveMud352

It does also decent place

SomeOtherGuySits

It doesn’t

Ste_XD

Its still greater manchezter, so it does

_DeanRiding

Blue Eye Panda is a pretty great Chinese in Ancoats

Pius_Thicknesse

Have to remortgage to afford a takeaway from this place

Andy1723

I remember when it was ancoats panda and didn’t have the restaurant. Used to order from there so much. Friend said it’s over £30 for a decent order now.

_DeanRiding

Yeah they're expensive and maybe even a bit overpriced, but you get what you pay for to a certain extent

thelardboy

We tried to go for lunch on Monday, but they now only do after 4pm, even at weekends, according to Google maps.

CadmiumCopper

I looked at this place but then saw their prices. No chance I'm spending that much for a takeaway. I'd consider it if eating-in.

SecurityShot187

Shrek’s Pizza

somaforthesoul

Joint favourites for me - Lahori in Chorlton - Chaiiwala in Levenshulme

CCCCrazyXTown

If I’m sat at home Pickle Rick’s Pizza or Athena’s (Stockport). If I’m stumbling out of Satan’s Hollow at 3am, Janams.

Camel One - kebab shop in Rusholme

my_beer

That place was about 50% of my diet as a student in the early 1990s.

jonsey_j

Lantern Palace in Irlam o'th heights. Banging salt and chilli chicken.

CadmiumCopper

Food hygiene rating of 1/5. Yeah... I'm not going within 50m of that place.

Ev_3

Buzzrocks well nice Caribbean take-away

[deleted]

Buzzrocks is indeed well nice. Just need to time it right so the queues not too big.

AllUrHeroesWillBMe2d

Florida's fried chicken on Upper Brook street.

UncleZafar

Miami Krispy (burnage) for the best spicy chicken fillet burger Burger and co (Fallowfield) for best smashed burgers Jaffas (Rusholme) for best Fatayers and shawarma Godfathers (Burnage) or popolinos (Oxford road) for best pizza - although this is take away style pizza not proper Italian style BYBMCR (Longsight) for best Loaded Fries Rusholme Chippy for best Kobeda

everythingscatter

Jaffas fatayer is okay, but it is their specials that shine. The lamb with green beans. Just thinking about the hunks of tender flesh, falling off the bone, suspended in this glorious emulsion of oil and tomato, spooned up with mouthfuls of fluffed white rice. And the extra naan that they always, without fail, forget to add to my order!

Bismarck913

Miami Fried Chicken. Delhi 2 Go. Godfather Pizza.

J1983K

I always see a queue outside Miami Fried Chicken, but it doesn't look different from any other chicken shop from the outside - is it worth a visit? What's special about it?

Scholar_Royal

Popular for its spicy wings. They are actually quite good

Ht_445

the best dirty burger you can get in manchester tbh and it’s cheap £4.20 for a nice burger meal

Bismarck913

I'd say so. I wouldn't say it's special but it's certainly reliable compared to most.

Neko-Neko-

Miami fried chicken has had a que outside non stop for about 2 years. Anytime of day it’s packed. Is it that good?? The place was dead for a good while before.

grandadswag

new owners totally elevated the place. best spicy fried chicken burger in Manchester I'd say

Dougies Caribbean food in moss side! Soup and a dumplin, jerk chicken, 'mutton' curry and a bigga fruit punch! Maybe the best meal on earth!

[deleted]

Yeah I love their curried mutton! Rum cake too

acksed

Shoryu - great ramen. Last summer they did a surprisingly good chilled ramen, which I'll be on the lookout for this year. Northern Soul Grilled Cheese - big, cheese-filled sandwiches are great but definitely a sometimes thing. Get the house spiced fries alongside, and extra pickles to cut the grease. Ziya Asian Grill - I love their Chicken Chettinad (though it doesn't like me). My Lahore - our go-to Indian takeaway when we're tired of scrolling through JustEat.

mandowillis

I haven't lived in Manny for a few years now, but there was an amazing chicken shop in Whalley Range that I can't remember the name of. Hope it's still there.

Spyryt

Mani was the bassist of the Stone Roses. Dunno who Manny is though

blackcurrantcat

Chicken Run?

Orzabal

That's the one! I used to get a chicken split from there on my lunch break all the time - cycled up to Old Trafford and ate it there. So good.

chicken_split

Love chicken splits from Chicken Run

blackcurrantcat

Haha, that’s so cool! It’s still there!

drvandoom
