[mtgprimer](https://mtgprimer.com/streets-of-new-capenna/instants/) does it in a much easier to parse format.

Most notable mentions: * There are two one mana "protect my thing" tricks in the format. The white one puts a shield counter on a creature, the blue one puts a +1/+1 counter and phases it out. No other color can protect a creature for 1 mana. * The 1 mana green pump spell gives +2/+2 unless they have 4 creatures, in which case it gives 4. * There is no 1 mana red burn spell...unless your creature is blue. If it is, the uncommon [[Heat Ray]] costs 2 less. * A single untapped Swamp bluffs nothing in this format. * There are no combat-relevant zero mana instants. * There is a card like [[Suit Up]] in this format. It loses a point of toughness, gains flying, and can animate any artifact including all the treasure tokens floating around. The lack of Ninjutsu, and thus loss of pressure to block at every opportunity, means this style of card is probably worse here, but ambushing flyers is going to be relevant. * [[Murder]] exists at common in this format. * The reminder text on shield counters lies. They do specifically prevent damage, rather than replacing it with the removal of the counter. There is a 3 mana deal 3 instant which blocks damage prevention, which removes shield counters for free. * 4 mana 2/1 flying flash shield counter in white at uncommon. * The Jund charm is the only one which can get around shield counters.

> * Shield counters ... specifically prevent damage, rather than replacing it with the removal of the counter. This was a pet peeve of mine regarding the reminder for "protection", too; in my experience reminder text has been about 99% accurate (the most major recent discrepancy being ninjutsu's lack of *"attacking the same opponent or planeswalker [as the original creature]"* or a clause to this effect, seeing as to how many of us became used to splitting the attackers for [[Den of the Bugbears]], but it's been great for, say, inspecting which keywords represent activations—unearth (Not the Card™), encore, and ninjutsu do; escape, blitz, and dash don't), and I understand that something like *"and you prevent damage to it from such sources"* is fairly costlier than the old way, but I had gotten surprised by the [[Skullcrack]]—protection interaction, out of not carelessness but because I was that confident in the line, "can't be dealt damage". This thing with shield counters has downgraded its rating at least to 90% in my mind. I suppose the functionality of protection and of shield charges could be altered so as to *make* their reminders accurate, though to do so might presumably break [[Wicked Guardian]] where you'd not be allowed to even start to try hitting a [[White Knight]] (for reasons such as these, I believe the rules department must've been avoiding any kind of straight-up "can't be dealt damage" effect). More likely that players are expected to mentally pencil in "damage prevention", instead, in these cases.
