Life gain draft boosters?

I would but my group doesn't like it when my brother does it. They think it makes his decks too overpowered

So if you went online and bought the exact card you wanted it would be "overpowered", but if you threw money away opening pack after pack after pack until you randomly happened to open the same card it would be OK?
Do they watch you open your boosters?
If they want to play a Sealed League then that's fine, but don't come up with pointless and arbitrary rules otherwise.
I think this is an immature but normal response. People think buying cards means you buy all the powerful cards but if you don't have a collection you need to start somewhere. Set a price limit based on everyone elses decks and purchase singles within that range. If anyone complains, you can argue the decks are the same value and you just want to have fun with them. Buying singles is a fairly inevitable part of magic once you are tired of boosters being your sole resource for cards

This is the way. Buying singles doesn't have to mean spending $500+ to build a T1 Modern deck or cEDH deck. Your decks will *all* be more powerful if you're willing to buy singles to help with synergy and consistency. And you'll be saving money too!
Lifegain has been a minor theme of a lot of different sets, but there's no draft booster you can buy that will give you useful cards for it guaranteed.
If you want to buy a product rather than singles, I'd recommend the Witherbloom Commander deck from Strixhaven, which is a G/B Lifegain theme with a lot of useful cards.
Your best bet, though, is likely buying single cards.
I'd recommend checking this page for an idea of what kind of cards to start with, since it covers the three most common Lifegain-matters colors: https://edhrec.com/themes/lifegain/wbg
None of the boosters are for getting cards (they are for other things, like Drafting, or making you *feel excited*). Just buy the exact cards you need (or a preconstructed product that happens to contain enough cards you need to make it worth the price).
