Nothing. :criesInPoor:
Already got Euro Truck Simulator with the essentials a few days ago and it has been really cool, unfortunately I don't have money left to buy anything else.
Not the most exciting but I have a few Humble Bundle keys I'm not using.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Tacoma
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Little Nightmares
Payday 2
theHunter: Call of the Wild
State of Mind
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
Let me know if you're interested in any of them.
Valheim, for some reason my cheap ass doesn't wanna pull the trigger on it for full price. How's the linux client btw? I know some devs like to neglect us, *cough discord and ark cough*
I can't recall having any unique problems on the Linux client, the (main?) dev uses desktop Linux to program the game and uses it in general so it's first class.
On launch you you are able to choose between Opengl and Vulkan. For some reason the Vulkan version crashed every 2 or so hours but Opengl was working perfectly
>How's the linux client btw
Fantastic! And it looks better in Vulkan than DX anyway IMO. I was trying to figure out why my Valheim looked better than my son's and when I had him switch to Vulkan, it looked like mine. I haven't played in a couple of months so maybe the DX work has caught up by now.
Just the ones that started my gaming addiction; Dangerous Dave, God of Thunder, and Heretic. Carmageddon is just a lot of fun, so that's on my list of favourites too.
Eye of the Beholder and Daggerfall do sound like enticing purchases, it's been a long time since I last played them. Maybe the remastered Day of the Tentacle will go on sale as well.
Well TW:Warhammer III probably won't be in the sale this time around and by most accounts isn't in a great state, particularly for Linux users. So I'll probably scratch my strategy itch and go for Crusader Kings 3 if it's in the mix.
Sadly, all of the Dark Souls servers are still offline, and the player invasions and co-op really enhance the experience for me; it's just not the same offline. DS1 is one of my favourite games of all time, and DS2 is amazing although the controversy is understandable; SotFS did fix a bunch of problems though, and the great DLCs are included.
I already got the latest Lego Star Wars game for 35 bucks and it's the most fun single player game i've played in a long time. Im through the original trilogy and played the phantom menace yesterday. I forsee myself trophy hunting on that for a while.
Other than that, i'll probably not get a lot. Don't have a lot of time to play atm and between LoL and Minecraft i'm pretty occupied.
I already have Neverwinter Nights on GOG but for four bucks I might bite the bullet and nab the enhanced edition.
Also thinking about Chronicon and Slay the Spire.
To be frank, I had NWN Diamond and bought the Enhanced Edition and slightly regret it. IMO, the only reason to buy EE is if you plan on playing on persistent worlds.
I'm wondering whether I should refund Final Fantasy VII remake while I can, and get something else.
I've played a bit of an hour of it. I like it, it's just so damn pricey.
Elden Ring is the other most tempting game, but I'm not sure how well it would run on my GTX 1070 (I doubt I'd be able to hit 60 fps).
Elden Ring will run fine on a 1070, I ran it on a 1060 laptop running EndeavourOS, the main thing you wanna do is just turn SSAO off and run it at a lower resolution than 1080p. Don't know if you'll hit 60, since I was mostly playing at 30-45fps.
I've got my eye on 5 games right now:
[Spin Rhythm XD](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1058830/Spin_Rhythm_XD/) [Edit: Purchased]
[Project Heartbeat](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1216230/Project_Heartbeat/) [Edit: Purchased]
[Ib --and I am adding more text here so some stupid snarky reddit bot doesn't reply to me about a short link--](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1901370/Ib/)
[Hidden Deep](https://store.steampowered.com/app/976890/Hidden_Deep/)
[Alina of the Arena](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1668690/Alina_of_the_Arena/) [Edit: Purchased]
Hope you have more fun with Project Heartbeat then me. The author is very actively marketing it for Linux and I guess it's a fine game, but the music is just not for me. I played one song, went through the song list and decided to refund. Sadly.
I grew up with vocaloid stuff so I have more of a tolerance for it, but the real allure for me is that I just like rhythm games in general, they don't necessarily have to be weeb focused specifically, it's just the venn diagram of weeb focused stuff and rhythm game content happens to just be *coincidentally* almost close to a full circle outside of Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, and Rock Band and I just simply don't mind.
I also play [Stepmania](https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.stepmania.StepMania) which is free on flathub, and [Crypt of the Necrodancer](https://store.steampowered.com/app/247080/Crypt_of_the_NecroDancer/) if you're looking for alternative rhythm games.
Still got my Rockband and \*Hero Setups for PS3 at hand and usually invite some friends once a year for a nice fun evening. Always a highlight :)
Had hoped PH could make me feel a little bit of that excitement, but sadly it didn't.
Crypt of the Necrodancer is much more enjoyable for me.
There's more on the workshop, though a lot of it is more anime idol stuff, and not a lot of modders bother to chart lower difficulties for dumb baby casuals like me. Still, if you dig around you'll find some stuff.
Any VR games anyone can recommend? I know it isn't a popular category but I figured I'd ask.
Been loving Beat Saber and Cities: VR and want to branch out.
Good ones I've been playing lately are [BallisticNG](https://store.steampowered.com/app/473770/BallisticNG/), [Demeo](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1484280/Demeo/), [Cards & Tankards](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1506850/Cards__Tankards/), [Dash Dash World](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1159860/Dash_Dash_World/), [AGAINST](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1584840/AGAINST/), [Pistol Whip](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1079800/Pistol_Whip/), [Into the Radius VR](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1012790/Into_the_Radius_VR/) and [GZDoom VR with mods](https://github.com/hh79/gzdoomvr/releases/tag/gvr4.7.1).
I do think it's important to warn you however that due to the state of Nvidia drivers on linux and how SteamVR interacts with them for me, I play these games on my windows partition so the only ones I'm certain will work are BallisticNG because that has steamplay support, Demeo (because the non VR version works on linux, no idea if anything breaks in the VR version), and GZDoom VR because it's GZDoom.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out! I've been using Windows as well as I try and figure out why ALRV and SteamVR mess with the `amdgpu` driver on my computer.
Perhaps it is time to install Arch.
Idk what it is in horizon 5, but I can load in, go to the store, go into menus, everything. But when I start driving, after about 30 seconds it crashes. Using a 1080 btw if anyone has any suggestions.
games
In fact games I may not get around to playing!
But you'll occasionally look at longingly
Spoiler alert >!you're not going to play half of them!<
Only the 20% lol
buy a game wait for it to download open tf2
Titanfall 2 or Team Fortress 2
T E A M F O R T R E S S 2
Cool its a good game
I'm probably going to buy TUNIC. I'd like to also buy Elden Ring, but it's unbelievably pricey in my country.
Nothing. :criesInPoor: Already got Euro Truck Simulator with the essentials a few days ago and it has been really cool, unfortunately I don't have money left to buy anything else.
I feel you dude, cries in 200%+ inflation rate. Tho I'm putting an unholy amount of money in my steam wallet.
you from lebanon?
yes, I am lebanese 🇱🇧 (not to be confused with lesbian)
ayy fellow brother how you doing
It's weird to have a convo in the replies, but I'm doing great, hope you are too!
yeah its a bit weird but its an opportunity to check up on some bros so never wrong. And thank you!
Not the most exciting but I have a few Humble Bundle keys I'm not using. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Tacoma Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Little Nightmares Payday 2 theHunter: Call of the Wild State of Mind Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun Let me know if you're interested in any of them.
How kind of you! I’d gladly take bloodstained ,the hunter and Shadow tactics if tou don’t mind. You just restored my hope in humanity haha
I pm'ed you all 3 games.
Thank you, really appreciate it!
Sounds lovely. I shall buy it the first day of the sale regardless if Valheim is discounted or not. Thanks!
On launch you you are able to choose between Opengl and Vulkan. For some reason the Vulkan version crashed every 2 or so hours but Opengl was working perfectly
>How's the linux client btw Fantastic! And it looks better in Vulkan than DX anyway IMO. I was trying to figure out why my Valheim looked better than my son's and when I had him switch to Vulkan, it looked like mine. I haven't played in a couple of months so maybe the DX work has caught up by now.
Yes! Thank you now I'm even more pumped for it!
I will buy lots of DOS games
which one(s) is your favourite?
Hocus Pocus, Eye of the Beholder, Daggerfall and most importantly Doom and Wolfenstein 3D, what about you?
Just the ones that started my gaming addiction; Dangerous Dave, God of Thunder, and Heretic. Carmageddon is just a lot of fun, so that's on my list of favourites too.
Nice list, not a dos game but have you seen Heretic 2?
Nope, I hadn't looked at it before. After checking out gameplay, I can say it reminds me of good old Rune.
Eye of the Beholder and Daggerfall do sound like enticing purchases, it's been a long time since I last played them. Maybe the remastered Day of the Tentacle will go on sale as well.
Daggerfall is already free if you are interested :)
Love EOB series, Dungeon Master, Black Crypt, Captive, and Hired Guns.
Anyone know where the Shikadi are at?
Nothing :'(
Nothing. I'm still making my way through Elden Ring.
Yes. Fear it, run from it, it comes all the same...
even with 100 games in the backlog, I will buy more games in sale, it never ends.
A Job
Dying light 2 and maybe hades and forza 5
Hades is worth every penny.
Well TW:Warhammer III probably won't be in the sale this time around and by most accounts isn't in a great state, particularly for Linux users. So I'll probably scratch my strategy itch and go for Crusader Kings 3 if it's in the mix.
Ultrakill
Hopefully DS remastered and DS2: Scholar of the first sin if they go on sale. Otherwise might pick some Final Fantasy games I'm missing.
there's a sequel to Don't Starve? holy crvap
I'm talking about Dark Soys.
> Dark Soys
Can't go wrong with a good, digital Dark Soys sauce.
oh, I should've realised that from the Scholar of the first sin.

Com'on Elden Ring!!!
One of the few games in recent memory I paid full price for, and it was well worth it.
Bro the game isnt even six months old, dont expect any sale until at least Christmas
Nothing because I have way too many games to play.
Thought the same for months...then Steam Summer Fest happened :D
I'll consider whatever is on my Wishlist if the sale is good enough. Or maybe not. I dunno. Need to start saving for my SteamDeck.
Need a new GPU first. Still too expensive
Nothing :c Wish I could buy Death Stranding, love Kojima games, but financial struggles, same as everyone.
Poor

Quake Remastered
what i want but cant afford the " Assasins Creed Bundle " BUT no moula, greenbacks, pineapples, cash to spend :(

I'm struggling not to buy things now lmao

Was planning on elden ring but its not on sale 🥲
I'm planning on buying a game called Celeste. It's only $5 right now
I'm buying Forza Horizon 4 as I have 5.
Still doesn't run good enough for me sadly, random crashes and very noticeable stuttering on 3060 Ti
Idk what it is in horizon 5, but I can load in, go to the store, go into menus, everything. But when I start driving, after about 30 seconds it crashes. Using a 1080 btw if anyone has any suggestions.
Nothing, I hope. I already have too many games, so I try to not but more games.
More games that I'll never play.
I'll buy a PC
