Bank Med,
$1000 per day for free from the ATM
$2000 per day for free if you have $50,000 in Lollars
Over the counter, you can withdraw any amount, but they take 0.5% up to $25,000, and 0.1% on every dollar above $25,000. There is also a fixed fee for small OTC withdrawals, but I am not sure what it is.
Audi has a monthly fee of 4USD and no fees on withdrawal at ATMs (granted not free at counter or ITM) and we have a daily ATM limit of 1000USD.

Fresh money is the real money (real US $ that can be withdrawn in green paper bills) which is each worth around 30000LL at the current market rate. Then you have lollar, which was previously real money but got caught up in the ponzi scheme and is now locked in banks and worth 8000LL. You also have the official market rate (monopoly money that doesn’t exist) worth 1500LL, the sayrafa rate (the rate at which the government prices real US $ for imports like Gas for example) which is currently valued at around 24000LL. There’s also a couple other valuations and fake currencies like bira (bank-liras) which are worth less than paper lira because you’re limited as to how much you can withdraw, there’s the 3900LL rate used for a couple specific purposes by banks, the 50000LL valuation used by supermarkets, and a couple of other ones used by specific shops at their own discretion (like bridal dresses renting at 15000LL and buying at 25000LL for example)
Its the only way to do business with international companies, the cheapest way to move large USD amounts and most worthwhile companies and organisations only pay salaries in to bank accounts. Also for online shopping. (The OMT card costs you a lot more than using a bank.)
$8 to withdraw money from your own branch? If you withdraw $1, is it still an $8 fee? So fucking Lebanese 🤣

Why do you guys still have money in the banks?

> (The OMT card costs you a lot more than using a bank.) How so? I'm considering opening one.
There is a premium on each dollar you add to the card. Over time it adds up, especially if you regularly need to deposit USD.
Arab Bank, I only use the ATM and it’s 0.75% for withdrawal.
