Sooooo I was able to make a HUGE purchase of magazines recently and got a delivery of 14 magazines in total. (I also have more on the way 🤣)
I bought them for my second biases (who I will not be revealing on this sub), but I gave the four wihout the groups in question (second photo) to my moots whose second biases are D.Bace and K'Pop, respectively. I managed to snap a few photos of the K'Pop articles before I wrapped them up.
It's been several months since I worked on the podcast, and it's amusing to think that there are STILL a bunch of people who believe in the fake rumor. Sorry to burst your bubble, but both of the alleged members had their respective girlfriends at least once during the group's career... Pssst

The only gatekeeping I'll allow is y'all gatekeeping where y'all get your magazines and merch from LOLLLL. I get it. I also gatekeep some YouTube channels where I get my HD stage performances and vinyl/cassete rips LMFAO
K'Pop (or K-Pop), not K'Population! As we did the research for our podcast, we discovered that K'Population was merely the name of one of their biggest international fansites.

Haven’t gotten around to hearing the podcast, but dang! The more you know lmao. It’s crazy how a fan site like that can cause massive effect. There’s lot of misinformation about this group :(
That's what happens when the people spread infos without checking if it's correct in the first place, just like the rumors I mentioned in our direct messages LOL
The worst part IMO is how the i-fans thirst about their favorites' shipping and fantasize about which idols might be (closeted?) LBGT, but never bother to straighten up the facts about K'Pop's altercation nor look more into the ones who DID come out. We are in dire need of people who can do the proper research for sure!
They sure did! According to Woohyun, he fell asleep on the hairdresser's chair and woke up with the tight curls (IDK the exact term). The fans' protests were so severe that they had to change it to the short frizzy crimp 🤣
For real! The term they used in Korean was "reggae hair," although they look more like [a coiled perm](https://youtu.be/kB2riFFMrzg) than braids/cornrows or dreadlocks.
Yeah, they look a little too loose at the ends, but at the top of his head...it looks tightly braided. Wonder why they went for that hairstyle with him.
I've noticed that, especially in the early days. I remember coming across a video of a live performance of "Game" and thought that they had someone standing in for Woohyun at first. 😂 The cameras weren't on him much, but when they were, it was at a distance or at an angle. I couldn't tell that was him at first glance. Only when he started singing did I catch on that was Woohyun.
I search everywhere! I'm Korean, so the local secondhand sales platforms here, like Joonggonara or Aladdin, are my most favorite sources. I also look into online bookshops :) However, I've had a lot of newbie 1st gen fans lurking on social media and my personal blog, asking me if I could sell them some of my collections, so I feel a bit leery to share the exact site names. Like, I'll be happy to scan some of my pages, but I do not want to make the competition harder ðŸ«
Yeah, I get it. I think it would be best to provide scans so that people who can't easily access articles like these (i.e. most people) can consume it. Having 1st gen content with subs is already a privilege in and of itself. (Cuz there's barely any of it...) There's this one blog on Naver (hyunjong0831) who's mainly an S.E.S. blog but also frequently posts previews of other groups in other magazines. That's where I do most of my vicarious living, but a lady's (my) desire for Yoo Seung Jun articles will eventually grow bigger than the content available to her... and that's when she starts getting jealous 😅

He's a very polite man, and I've been satisfied with 99% of our exchanges (the other 1% being the few times when the articles of my bias were missing the first or last pages). I'm collecting any S.E.S tidbits I run into just in case it's something he doesn't have lol
