r/pmsforsale allows sales of precious metals if they don't allow it here

eBay

The_Re_Face

Good thought, thanks

MrNature73

Or just sell them to me, I'm in the market for more sterling.

The_Re_Face

I'm looking to sell >300g for $350 CAD, intersted?

keyofallc

You can join any number of Facebook groups that are specifically for buying and selling jewelry supplies. A quick search will yield you a few choices. I belong to one that is a jewelry destash group. I get lots of supplies there.

bruppitybrup

Lol how about right here? 😛 I honestly shouldn’t because of vet bills, but wow this would be amazing. I love wire wrapping.

The_Re_Face

I wasn't sure about the rules regarding selling on here so didn't want to get the post deleted lol, but yeah I'm happy to sell to anyone interested here. I'm in Canada BTW. In case you're interested, I've got 1/2 hard temper 18, 20, and 22 gauge sterling. Ranging from about 20 to 150g of each. And I think about 20 grams of 22 gauge fine silver. I can't find my calipers to confirm any of the sizes at the moment.

bruppitybrup

Thank you for this info! I am not aware of the selling rules here either tbh. But you should not have any trouble finding a buyer, what a treat. I wish you much luck :)

nicko1702

I sent you a DM. I’m interested in buying.

SharonZJewelry

If you are on Facebook, there is a metalsmith swapmeet group where folks unload old materials and tools. I am not sure that it is super active, but you could try posting it there - [https://www.facebook.com/groups/245867552270625](https://www.facebook.com/groups/245867552270625)

SharonZJewelry

Whoops! I just saw a post that the group is done. Sorry about that. But I think that there are other destashing groups on Facebook just for metalsmiths.

w0lfwoman

My local jeweler buys silver for just below spot. If you want to sell it quickly and not have to deal with shipping you can check for local jewelers and coin dealers.

The_Re_Face

I actually called a local jeweler that I've got a good connection with, and he said to hold on to it rather than sell it near spot lol I've had it for over a decade at this point so no harm in waiting a little longer!

vulpes-mater

r/wirewrapping maybe

TheSquidWrangler

Hey! I’d be interested if you still have it?

The_Re_Face

Reddit seems to be uncooperative with me today and won't let me start new chats! Seems I can reply though if you could send me one! Just as a heads up, I'm looking for 275 USD (350 CAD) plus shipping costs. Its about 300g altogether, with a mix of 1/2 hard 18, 20, and 22 gauge sterling and one roll of 22 gauge that is either soft sterling or fine silver (not quite sure which but I'd guess sterling due to some tarnish).

AgreeableDoughnut7

You can most likely sell it at any coin / precious metal dealer /jewelry story. Keep it mind they will buy it below spot price

Kat_Doodles

Me! I'll take it!
