Al-Ma'idah 5:50
أَفَحُكْمَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَۚ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
English - Sahih International
Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith].
Islam's opposition to secularism has nothing to do with atheism, rather, Islam makes it clear that we should live by the commands of Allāh (SWT) and his messenger, which, of course, stands in stark contrast to secularism, which assumes that the best way of law and rule is to separate religion from the state.
Secularism opens the door for the sickness of atheism and liberalism to infect society.
That is because Islamic laws applied in society punishes all immorality.
It punishes drug use, fornication, adultery, theft with harsh punishments.
It forbids usury, blasphemy, nakedness and more.
Secularism is against all those laws, inviting all immorality in society and sicknesses usually spread fast. Liberalism is a sickness that can only be stopped by the Islamic law
Oh and liberalism is the religion of atheists
if i start saying homophobic things i would
be thrown in jail
free speech doesn’t exist
doesn’t matter if it offends me, it’s not about me, it’s about Allah ﷻ and his messenger.
i don’t need to think for myself when my religion literally states what i need to do.
yes, my existence is to be a slave of Allah, you can think it’s hollow but for me it’s salvation
are you atheist or something?
wallah, being a slave of Allah ﷻ is the best thing ever, i have all the freedom i want; i’m as happy as i can be
i don’t think you understand the concept of deontological religions, our religion set out rules, so we must follow them; when Allah ﷻ proved this religion is his then i don’t need anything else
also who knows better? a human who’s been alive for a little or an All-Knowing God who’s been alive for eternity?
Shari'a as legitimate practice in modernity holds restrictions to its application because of the lack of an overarching consensus of 'ulama, and deficiency in scholarship, and of infrastructure to necessitate global or national manifestations.
Shari'a then is regaled to prayer, food, marriage and family- along with rules of personal conduct of the Muslim inclusive of interpersonal social aspects of said Muslim thereof.
Yet Islamic practice is vast and the Muslims are vast, so even in a reduced format, regional outlooks and discrepancies as per practical applications of Islamic law make notions of "pan-Islamic" society *highly improbable*.
So we wait until the return of hazrat 'Isa (a) where Shari'a is established and the people
are united with his foundation in the Levant.
The Christians claim he will come "with a sword" and the Jews claim the Masiah will establish the third temple in Jerusalem.
Rasool Allah, Nabi Muhammad (s) told us that if we are alive at that time, it will be of great calamity, that we should dread that day and then strive to sit still within shelter. 'Isa (a) will appear behind imam Mahdi (a) in as-Sham prior to his ('Isa/Jesus) establishment of absolute Divine Law. Jews, Christians, and Muslims all look forward to this time.
Yet...
They all disagree, so secular law allows us all to live lives relatively free of conflict. It is wajib for Muslims to follow the laws of the land they reside in be they guests or residents or natives.
Secular law protects the people from zealous theocrats- *as even Muslims hold variation in faith and practice*

Secularism is a Godless concept of state made by man. It is the sovereignty of man over man. Those in power make laws as they seem fit or profitable. Removing a higher authority from governing state and not being accountable to a final authority makes a man act on his desire and whims. People with power are free to exploit those with not. Morality is relative in secularism and usury takes different forms.
These are some basic reason for opposition of secularism. As man can act on his own laws and not being accountable to a higher being or authority he loses his sense of accountability on the day of judgement and indulges in corruption and other forms of evils.
I hope this answers your question.
by separating state and church, you automatically tell god that hes not allowed to interfere in the state and by taking any law other than this from God, you automatically rejects God's laws, makes one's own laws, and thus commits shirk
Secularism decriminalizes and enables most things that opposes Islamic morals and values because they believe some of these immoral acts are harmless vices which people can have freedom and control over what they can do with their desires.
Shariah however believes “prevention is better than cure” which why it is very strict over things that can be harmful to people and their society.
Secularism opens the door to different points of views and beliefs and builds tolerance. Understanding other peoples philosophies and world views (that are not tied to islam at all) would expand people's perspectives so much that they wouldnt be able to be controlled by islamic beliefs. Some people learn about concepts in history, science, philosophy and math that arent rooted in metaphysical ideas, rather than objective truth, so they come to the realization that at some point they were lied to and might be wrong about what they thought was real and right. This act of enlightenment is such a "threat" to islam that theyd rather block it out all together. All cults block out what doesnt fit the image to keep the control going. Heres a quote I think about a lot. "if you change the way you see things, the things you cahnge"
We rule by what Allah has commanded. Secular law rules by what men think and feel.

secularism is anti shariah it separates state from religion, so there’s nothing wrong with publicly condemning Muhammad
Refer to him as “the Prophet” or “the Messenger” or “the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him” rather than just his name, like the kaffirs do

Monotheism is opposed to bolt Atheism and Polytheism. (Something can be opposed to more than one thing.)
