Wait! I thought she'd retired?

phillygeekgirl

If you are new to Bella, the most important thing to know is "[unconscious when sneeze](https://reddit.com/r/illnessfakers/comments/sbqn9t/passing_out_while_sneezing/)".

emilynna

Those damn syncosneezes

bliss_point601

OMG! Thank you! The comments on this are the gold standard. I believe my favorite so far references a foot strung out on meth. I’m dying over here and if I “like” your comment from 6 months ago—I’m your new fan.

ZeroHrsprs

Oh shit oh fuck why am I always late #unconsious when sneeze™️

HamptontheHamster

SyncopeSneeze got me

phillygeekgirl

There's enough love to go around: someone needs to tell her about "so anyway I fell down the stairs today"

Advanced_Jury4375

Just saw this. 😂 Seems like people are mostly ignoring her posts, so she needs an attention grabber first. Amateur attempt.

ZeroHrsprs

She's so obvious it's painful sometimes 😅

ZeroHrsprs

I think of that one multiple times a day. Gives me life 😂

Ar9392

I just learned about this 😂😂😂

phillygeekgirl

Do you have a link to the original comment? I can't find it

phillygeekgirl

You're the best! I didn't remember that it was Dani, I was searching under Bella.

takeandtossivxx

There's a site for rosters/lacrosse scores/etc and it says she played in 3 different games this season...considering she can't edit that herself and they go based off the actual games, she did play. But pretty sure she either lied about not playing or she used some sort of medical exemption. I believe she's also left the school she had a scholarship to

CatAteRoger

We’ve been informed that as a member of the team if she had shown up just to be on the bench only she would be still be listed for those games.

Athompson9866

HA!!! So I wasn’t making up that she had a scholarship. I deleted another post because I thought I was speculating about her scholarship.

selectmyacctnameplz

Her school is a new division 2 program and they offer partial scholarships to fill a roster. Although possibly scholarshipped it could be for only $1k

Athompson9866

I’m not talking even about being scholarshipped. I’m amazed that someone who admittedly did not play her junior year of HS because of “COVID” and very rarely played her senior year, could make ANY college team with the symptoms she has claimed. ETA: sorry, I been drinking. I see this was in response to me talking about her scholarship! I apologize.

Maddzilla2793

So like, if she has a scholarship (partial or not). Did she sign a contract, those typically protect the player from being removed from a team right?

selectmyacctnameplz

Correct. When you sign the NLI it is a contract for the academic year. And you can’t take a scholarship away based on injury or poor performance. However, you can take a scholarship away because of unfulfilled obligations, like skipping team meetings, showing up late to practice repeatedly, breaking team rules, etc. so if a kid quits middle of the season or school year they keep their scholarship for the academic year

selectmyacctnameplz

I’m not surprised. People who have never played lacrosse can go to a prospect camp for a day and get scholarshipped. The sport has grown faster at the college level than the talent available. Northwestern University in their first varsity year had twins who were softball players, not lacrosse players and that’s division 1.

Maddzilla2793

^ this. Lacrosse is not like soccer. The hot spots are Long Island and Maryland. And it’s a pretty underplayed sport.

There’s a college in Montgomery, AL that has lacrosse. I can’t remember the name though. But even deeper south than that, there was the NAIA men’s lacrosse championship hosted in Pensacola. Basically, it’s everywhere except in Dothan, AL. 😂 even Fairhope and Brewton, AL has youth lacrosse.

Athompson9866

Not in any of those places either, other side of the bay :)

flimsypeaches

I swear I read a comment on here a while back from someone saying that they'd found documentation (a roster or something) indicating that Bella had played in at least one recent game. tbh I don't think Bella normally wore the neck brace in public or told people IRL about her goofy "ailments." I think it was all for social media... though of course she can get away with wearing it now, at least temporarily, because she had that mystery surgery. she's munched her way into some kind of procedure and talks about "medically retiring" from sports, but with her, it's hard to tell how much of that translates into her offline life.

AnniaT

If she just faked all of this on social media, wasn't there danger that the people in real life would know about the munching? Or did she have a private account? But still... Also, didn't she munch all this to be able to give up university lacross? Did she give them other reasons than the social media munching? There's a lot with her that just doesn't add up.

nurse_kanye

yeah someone posted proof with the game played and her stats or something. someone also called her out on instagram about it and she claimed she was benched. mods removed that post, of course

Mangolop

She’s president of some disability club at her college so I think she doesn’t stop talking about it irl as well

Athompson9866

I’m very new to this. I know nothing about her wearing a neckbrace or any of that. I’m trying to figure out that if ( by her early posts) she barely played her junior year in high school and rarely if ever played her senior year in high school, as she claimed, how did she get a scholarship to college for lacrosse?

flimsypeaches

I think she's simply lying about barely playing in her last two years of high school. it wouldn't make sense for her to receive a scholarship to play lacrosse in college in that case -- and as a wise woman once said, if it doesn't make sense, it probably isn't true.

Athompson9866

I made a new post, that will probably be deleted because I’m still learning this subreddit, but it felt like people didn’t believe me that she claims not to have played her junior and senior years in high school. It’s incredibly unlikely (implausible, basically impossible) that she got a scholarship because of her stellar performance as a freshman and sophomore lol

QueenieB33

Are you saying you know Bella irl? What do you mean by "people don't believe me"?

Athompson9866

I’m sorry, I do not know her. I posted something earlier and people were saying that she didn’t didn’t play her junior or senior year in college. I was like “okay I know that, but she claims to not have played junior or senior year in HS”. I’m learning this subreddit. If I did something wrong please let me know.

QueenieB33

I'd recommend clicking the tag/flair that says Bella and then sort the posts from old to new and that should give you a pretty good history based upon the posts we have. This post would better serve as a comment than as a stand alone post, bc if every question got made into a post the feed would be overloaded lol. I'll go ahead and leave this up so hopefully someone can answer your question. We generally have at least one Bella post a day go up, so you should have plenty of opportunity for future questions/discussions :) ETA Welcome and [here is a link to our sub rules ](https://www.reddit.com/r/illnessfakers/comments/cah1hx/new_updated_rules_welcome_to_rillnessfakers/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) as well as [Blogging_101 info](https://www.reddit.com/r/illnessfakers/comments/bdcrga/blogging_101/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share)

soldoutofglizzy

Just tagging on this to say whoever is participating in mass downvoting the mods who are currently struggling to keep this sub afloat due to the NUMEROUS rules being broken on a daily basis is truly pathetic. This is an anonymous forum and you’re STILL too pussy to leave a true message voicing your complaint, instead you hide behind downvotes. Embarrassing.

Character_Recover809

I'm in full agreement with this. I suspect at least some of the downvoting is from people who still think this sub should be what they want it to be (a snark sub) instead of what it is (education and discussion about FD/Munchausen's, as well as calling out liars). This is in our own About and Wiki pages. Go see for yourself. Snark subs targeting self proclaimed disabled people get deleted. It doesn't matter that we know the munchies are lying. It only matters what Reddit says, and Reddit says that if someone says they are disabled, that puts them in a protected category. This is not a snark sub. Give it a rest already. The mods are not on a power trip or whatever bullshit people want to believe. They are enforcing the necessary rules to keep us in existence. If you can't handle that, then leave. The mods do not need to deal with people who think they decide the rules and what this sub is for.

QueenieB33

Thank you for being so understanding, it's much appreciated! I don't care about DV's, but I *DO* wish that whoever is doing it would choose to have a conversation instead. Just DV'ing accomplishes nothing. We don't get any particular joy from removing posts, but it's necessary in order to keep the sub up and running aboveboard. Reddit removed a post yesterday, so yes, we're having to be extra cautious right now.

Athompson9866

I am working through her stuff. I’ve already seen all her posts and videos on this Reddit, now I’m working through the comments. I have a bad memory so when I have a question about something that really bothers me, if I don’t ask it, I will forget it until the next time I come across it. I’m learning the sub, and I have fallen into a deep rabbit hole lol. I have so many questions!

QueenieB33

Yeah it's a LOT to take in, so no worries haha! I posted links in my above comment to our Rules and Blogging info that you will find helpful 😊 Here's a link to our [Wiki](https://reddit.com/r/illnessfakers/w/index?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app) also.

Athompson9866

I read through them already! Twice! I think I read other posts and so I think what I am posting is along the same lines so it’s okay. I will not post my own new stuff until I definitely get the hang of it. Again I’m sorry and I completely understand why this has to strict.

07ultraclassic

She was in college on a scholarship. She’s not in college any more. I don’t believe she was a junior OR a senior, either, I think she was just getting started.

Athompson9866

She was still on the team but couldn’t play. There’s even a post about her making a video of other players during practice while she sat on the bench and her coaches got pist and gave her a talking to. How did she get a scholarship to college if she didn’t play most of her junior and basically none of her senior year in high school?

SitDown_and_ShutUp

Could she have faked her scholarship too? That's what it sounds like to me.

AnniaT

This could also explain some stuff... There's just something here that doesn't add up.

07ultraclassic

Oh - I don’t know about that. I didn’t get that deep into her bio. I started following as college started crumbling.

Athompson9866

I mean in high school! Her first posts are talking about how she didn’t play her senior year in high school because of her POTS

YaaaaaaaaasQueen

Sometimes HS athletes unofficially commit to a college in sophomore year or earlier. They don’t sign the papers yet but for all intents they are accepted. She’d have to be GOOD, but maybe that’s how she managed this.

Character_Recover809

When it comes to munchies, sorting fact from fiction can be impossible. Munchies lie a LOT, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, they say can be taken as truth. There's usually a lot of contradiction, that's how they end up here in the first place. Part of the vetting process for approving new subjects involves the mods spending a LOT of time looking into the person and finding inconsistencies and impossibilities that prove there's lying somewhere, even if it's not possible to pinpoint the exact lie. It can be frustrating as hell, but sometimes, the truth simply cannot be proven. And we just have to live without ever knowing for sure.
