Is there any other songs like U2’s Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me? WEWIL

I feel like garbage and some of the later yeah yeah yeahs and metric singles had a similar sound but with female singers.
If its gotta be a dude… it has something in common with jesus and mary chain (reverence and sugar ray might be a start), my life with the thrill kill cult and even lords of acid but youll need the more poppy tracks.
That whole batman soundtrack its from is the best part of the movie.
That song rules, I've often thought of that as a really unique feel and tone that more people should aim at. Marilyn Manson had some really cool shit I never noticed until actually giving him a try a few years ago. "The Dope Show" is arguably like "Nightclubbing" by Iggy Pop mixed with the U2 song but if you haven't checked out Puscifer, this song is also like a slower tempo vibe that mixes a lot of the elements that U2 song does:
If you're not deeply familiar with Queens Of The Stone Age they've got a lot of songs that overlap with all this stuff : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-90obSa1Az4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-90obSa1Az4)
The whole "Like Clockwork" album fucks. I also wish this was a deeper niche but I've studied composition and production for a while and I know the really rare combination in that song is the main riff uses tritones which sound cool and sinister but it's mixed with ultra slick high dollar production and those two things almost never go together.
I saw a local band in LA and talked with their guitar player about some of this stuff because his band seemed to mix the two. They're not really known but a lot of their songs sound like intros to a villain in a movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sfL\_hblHkQ
As ridiculous as it sounds, I think “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me” should be it’s own genre
Call it “Dark Glam”
I'm with it
