Just amazing! Just found an article that will help you to [plan your home exterior design. ](https://homeimprove360.com/how-to-make-a-small-house-exterior-look-bigger/)
If you live somewhere where the summers get quite warm, you may want to reconsider. Our last house had a porch with a transparent roof and it acted like a greenhouse. It was way too hot, you couldn’t sit out there in the afternoon.
There's at least 2 kinds of clear corrugated roofing panels, the polycarbonate-based ones look the same new as the cheap ones, but will last twice as long. We've got some over our front deck which are going on 12 years old and they're getting close to the end of their life, many of the screw holes have started to crack and chip - but that's south facing, in full sun for most of the year. Metal would last forever, but if you want light to come through you've gotta expect a shorter lifespan.
We're all coming over midmorning for coffee and pastries on your new porch🙂
I second this!
I'll bring cinnamon rolls!!😊
This looks outstanding. Did you build from a plan, kit, or was this self-designed?
just went to buy some wood, went trough some how to‘s and started :)

It looks great. I am wanting to do exactly that on my back patio. Do you have a design plan?

They're pretty sturdy but scratches and stains definitely
UV turns some yellow.

This is gorgeous! So easy to picture drinking coffee out there on a beautiful morning.
With the price of wood these days it must have been about 10 grand. 😂
