If you had to rebuild your swing, where would you start?

Yeah, I'd probably switch to interlock if I had to start all over.

With lessons. Having said that, my first lesson addressed my takeaway and how I opened my clubface right away. Keeping it closed and 'in posture' has made a huge difference.

New driver. Just being honest

Lessons. YouTube is ok for touch ups, but it’s so generic and not specific to your own game I think there’s limited value there. I’d also add a fitness & yoga routine to the mix early on. The golf swing is explosive, so working on those legs and flexibility is insanely helpful

Try being a lefty.

SagHarbor85

I’m actually a natural lefty. Do everything left. Golf right. Maybe worth a change?

apex_flux_34

Grip, posture, takeaway, in that order.

Send me a video and I'll tell you where to start

Funny to mention this. I’m actually a natural lefty. Kick, throw, bat. Everything left….golf right. Maybe it’s worth a shot?

BlkSkwirl

I did this starting a year ago. IMO, it can only be done with a good swing instructor and lots of practice and dedication.

Posture and grip

I found myself in a similar situation a few years ago. I ended up going with Leadbetters A swing and have had great results. Plus there are a ton of coaching videos from the legend himself. just follow the book and now I'm doing online lessons with his school

DuffedDamnedDriver

I answered that question for myself a few months ago and I committed to the George Gankas online lessons. Pretty cheap compared to the cost of once a month lessons locally.

Needabirdie

Stance and posture

ultimate_chowdah

Lessons, for sure. I'm currently in the process myself. It really helps to have a pro look at your swing and then just talk about where you are versus where you want to be. That way you can build out a plan to help keep you moving forward on the right path.

I'd go with Danny Maude on YouTube. He makes it really simple and gives you drills.
