The minion suits were a signal to race control that they wanted to finish under safety car

Dt820

This got me, lmao.

T1rolzinho

It's been 5 races already? Man these guys are goats

GalaxLordCZ

5 races overall, they fucked up Belgium.

macpad095

Sainz 3 tyres in Zandvoort is also a fuck up.

shrth114

Which were the other four? Bahrain, Saudi, Australia and?

rufusmarch23

Didn't Carlos get beached in the gravel in Australia tho?

Alfa_HiNoAkuma

Well ferrari didn't fuck up though. That was on carlos

shrth114

That was on Ricc really.

rufusmarch23

In Imola it was of Riccardo, but in Australia was pretty much just Carlos being too ambitious getting around a Haas.

shrth114

Man, he's been beached a lot, I get confused.

rufusmarch23

I think he had something up with the steering wheel or a bad car setup in Australia. Carlos had a rough start to the season lol

Alfa_HiNoAkuma

Yeah, glad to see him in top form. He was majestic yesterday

che6urek

Bahrain, Saudi, Miami, Canada, Monza

TiltSchweiger

Austria

schmidtmazu

Austria Leclerc almost did not finish because of a stuck gas pedal and Sainz engine blew up. Do you really call this a no fck up race?

blindeshuhn666

Leclerc won. He didn't do that often (unless Max had a dnf )

AggravatingActuary63

It was absolutely hilarious on the stands. People (rightfully) cheered when they didn’t bottle the pitstop.

PapaSheev7

Yeah, to be fair to Ferrari. They did everything correct today and operationally, strategically, they were perfect. Red Bull is simply faster than them, now.

SuperDrewtecks

Yes, Let’s go!

BenTheSwolenOne2000

they fucked up with the early pit stop

abrasivevelvet

It was a good call, max was just insane as he has been the last couple races

FaggorPrime

Max was told to do the opposite of what Leclerc did. Would you have said it was a fuck up if Max had pitted?

Zanginos

I dont think so Max had way lower tyre degradation because Redbull ran higher downforce compared to Ferrari it wasnt bad strategy at all. If they did nothing they would be just delaying the inevitable Max overtaking Charles on track or via box.

Yeti-420-69

They also finished second, not third.

Alfa_HiNoAkuma

No they didn't. With the same strat they were guaranteed to be behind, so they tried to mix up things

GuaranteeNo2187

2 stopper was an average decision but didn't change the finishing order nonetheless

Familiar_Builder_440

Without major fuckup* 2-stopper for Charles wasn't necessarily the best idea

Alfa_HiNoAkuma

So you would've followed max strategy? Max would've done the opposite of leclerc, so had him pitted, he would've had a much better pace than ferrari with old softs and you'd be calling them names for not pitting him. Today the only 🤡 is you guys

Electronic-Dog524

they did fuck up though, they stopped way too early

FaggorPrime

Nope, they really had no choice. Max was told to do the opposite of what Leclerc did. So a pit was gunna happen, just unlucky that the VSC ended right as the pit stop finished.

masterczulki1

But why do you assume RB would go for 2 stop like Ferrari did?

FaggorPrime

It would have been a gamble for them, like it was for Ferrari. They did have way better tire deg than Ferrari and may have been able to pull off 40 laps on meds. But that doesn’t matter because the people being critical of Ferrari are saying it was the complete wrong call, which is objectively not true because Red Bull were about to make the same call.

TiltSchweiger

Very questionable. Leclerc was already losing pace big time prior to the VSC to Verstappen. No Chance for the win at all, however u mix it imo

Yeti-420-69

It was possible to win if they'd stayed out. It was not possible to win by stopping early

TiltSchweiger

I highly doubt it, but we'll never know

FaggorPrime

Max was told to do the opposite of what Leclerc did. So a pit stop was gunna happen for one of the teams. Just unlucky that the VSC ended during the pit stop.
