Toto’s face says it all lmao
[For those who missed it ](https://i.imgur.com/evpFwFI.jpg)
Why this labelled 18+ lol
Because Toto is older than 18.
Why does he look like the American Psycho
Not sure what happened to Russell during quali, he's been so far off Lewis
Lewis isn’t running bad setups now and he true pace is showing since Canada. But today Russell is off for sure
Toto said Russell did have Power problems, as if "10% are missing".
Ok didn’t catch that
Yeah this is it. Russell is doing well but it’s clear he’s a tenth or so slower than Lewis on average.
That’s still a very good level and he’s always there to profit from Lewis’ misfortunes which is how he’s ahead in the points but it’s clear that Lewis has his measure now in terms of raw performance.
Russell had issues with his car.
Headphones would have flown if it were Lewis
Lewis will never be a second off his teammate. Especially in the wet conditions
Lewis is a water bender
This, these conditions are perfect for lewis.
Lewis is a proper *mago della pioggia*, a rain wizard.
Ye him and Max have hacks, they always have more grip than everyone else, reported
He probably has been once or twice, no? Hes flying today though
I went and looked it up because I couldn't remember a time he was more than a second behind a team mate.
According to gpracingstats.com the only time lewis has been more than 1s behind a team mate in Qualifying are:
Australia 2009 (No Time Recorded)
Monaco 2011 (NTR)
Germany 2012 (NTR)
Hungary 2012 (NTR)
Germany 2014 (NTR)
China 2016 (NTR)
Belgium 2016 (Whopping 4s faster by Rosberg)
Baku 2016 (19 seconds, Lewis hit a wall in Q3 - only his out lap was completed)
Brazil 2017 (NTR)
Germany 2018 (NTR)
Saudi Arabia 2022
Not bad for 304 race starts.
What the hell is NTR
(No Time Recorded)
You might need to try “Lewis Hamilton Nico Rosberg NTR” for best results
Max Verstappen Daniil Kvyat NTR is where its at
That’s karma for talking shit about budget caps.
What did he actually say lol?
If Zak Brown had said it I think most people would agree
Aston why! Lance was in the top 10 on inters!!!!!!!
Seb already had the time locked in I think, if he wouldn't have boxed. He was faster than russell and on a personal best.
Yeah should have finished the lap. But now they got boy Stroll in front, so I guess the boss is happy.
Bro, Stroll was faster all weekend right now, he has yet to finish a session lower than Vettel.
Being faster in Q > being faster in FP
Yeah? Wanna talk about that?
Stroll had a faster s1 in Q2 than Vettel, when he also aborted his lap.
why are yall arguing about who was faster when aston screwed them both over by making them pit for softs? i think both would have made Q3 no problem
I'm so fucking tired of all of this people being so aggressive about the Stroll vs. Vettel comparison. Lance has been great during the weekend, but he has the new floor as well. Both of them got screwed by the call for softs and should've been in Q3.
Aston design team: green Red Bull
Aston strategy team: green Ferrari
Yeah I do agree imo, shouldve pit for more inters rather than for softs
And sebs aborted lap was faster, whats your point? Seb was also faster in Q3.
They weren't in Q3.
Really weird decision. Usually you gamble when you don't have a chance to reach Q3, not when it looks somewhat likely.
Am i wrong, or was Vettel on a personal best before boxing? He would have been in Q3 if he would have just finished it? If so, that might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen AM do and they did a lot of dumb stuff...
Two Green sectors yeah
Yeah he would’ve been around P8 if he finished that lap
Just looked at his on-boards and yeah, he was up in S1/2, little lock up in S3 then the team tell him (well I guess ask) to abort the lap and come in for softs
Missed a turn in sector 3
Stupid move by Aston Martin, they were quick enough on the inters to be at the cusp of Q3, the gamble was not needed. They did not have to be the guinea pig, now they are even further from some of those that they ought to be ahead of.
Wonder if the LEC radio message was a bluff
Atleast they should have split their strategy to get one driver in q3
Aston man. They both looked on for Q3 on inters
AM strategy at its finest
Russell 1+ second slower than Hamilton, damn
He hasn't enjoyed this circuit at all this weekend. Not sure why but he's been twitchy and struggling for grip in every session.
And he also missed Q3 by just **.006** seconds too!
The smallest things can make the biggest differences…
What actually happened to Russell? Didn't watch the whole thing.
Did he just struggle with tire warm up?
Reported the same issue that he had in P1 where the engine pushes him forward in some corners.
I really hoped that the slicks would work for aston. Too bad
Ferrari really tricked Aston into putting on slicks on a damp track 💀.
Sad for russell but fuck me im happy that norris got q3
No idea how he did that with the abysmal Q1 time
He aborted his last Q1 lap due to being safe into Q2. So Q1 luckily wasn’t really representative.
Seb was on a good lap and then they go on slicks
It would have been fast enough for Q3 I think xD
Anyone seen Mr. Saturday today?
Shame for Seb for his last Singapore GP, the slicks gamble for Aston didn't pay off at all.
I respect the gamble, if you’re a lower team may aswell go for it .
What happened to Russell? Very surprising.
But I dont think they were one of the slower teams? I think they were 7-10 pretty safely in inters and a good lap. Lance probably sets a better time in Q1 if not blocked by Fernando..
I get gambling in Q3 but in my eyes they were a pretty safe bet for Q2 on inters.
Russell has struggled all weekend. He's clearly just struggled badly with finding a set-up he likes for this track
Seems like a general lack of pace
He was on track for a good lap until he went off into the runoff area :(
yeh that last corner was hell in them, props to Haas and AT for staying on the inters, big call made right for them
Eh Vettel doesnt care anymore, hes more focused on his activism, thats why hes now slower then a pay driver for like the 4th qualifying session straight
Edit: which i support, i just wish that he could still spend some of his focus on f1 aswell, Lewis has managed to do both
Yeah seb checked out after the Austria shit, he’s just riding it out now. If he really had the desire he could out qualify stroll
He could dominate him, thats exactly what he did before Hungary.
I would have preferred if he retired immideatly instead of checking out though :/
He lost his speed yeah but his final lap on inters would have been q3 most likely
Yeah I saw that, but I'm guessing it would have still been about the same as Strolls lap. He should be almost a second faster then him in these conditions, that's how much faster he was in Canada and Britain quali.
That tells me that the car has a lot more pace to extract and has improved since the beginning of the season but he's not using that pace which is a little frustrating
Timing is so important here
Bloody hell about 10 miles behind Lewis
Thought it was gonna be a rough day as a McLaren fan, thank god Lando got into Q3
Nice one Kevin getting into Q3, outpacing his teammate this weekend.
I mean, Mick never drove on this track.
He is better than Schumacher.
Not recently, and probably not by lap 2 tomorrow
He'll probably attempt to overtake Verstappen in turn 1. ;)
Not if he is rammed by others. Correct.
He's very good in Singapore and experience matters there. That doesn't mean he's generally better than Mick, though.
Ok, what matters then? Points, number of point finishes, qualification?
GJ Aston you screwed over your drivers. If not both then at least Stroll who is good in these conditions was probably making Q3 here.
Looks like they needed 1 more lap for the slicks to get into the window.
Vettel would've easily made it through to Q3 on inters. His last run (which he had to abort) was well into the top 10.
That is what confused me. They should have let him finish that lap. He really could have made it with that lap.
Wouldve not been easily through, he was 2 tenths off Magnussen in S1 and Equal in S2, for S3 it would have been better, but we don't know if it wouldve been two tenths faster than his S3.
It kinda looked like stroll would make it anyway: he had personal bests sectors 1 and 2, just needed sector 3 to come together
Shouldn’t have trusted Alfa with their FP2
Maybe not worth the risk for Aston. Clearly had the pace for Q3 just unfortunate it didnt work out. Last sector just a bit damp.
Anthony Davidson on Skypad saying Russell was simply just too slow. No mistakes or moments in his lap.
Let’s go Kmag wooo
Engineer stability is important.
Proceeds to smash into max car on the opening laps during the race
Funny, although Kmag hasnt smashed into anyone this season. Why would he tomorrw?
He did it twice only in Hamilton
Did he? Lets examine that:
Here is an onboard of Spain, seen from Schumacher:
Look a lot like Hamilton understeers into Kmag and Kmag holds his line. You cannot argue that Kmag smashes into Hamilton.
Here is 3 other lap one incidents from both onboards.
The rightmost is Canada: Kmag gets squeezed while Hamilton has plenty of room to the right. Sure, they touch, but it is hardly noticeable unless I told you this is the incident. Again explain how Kmag smashes into Hamilton.
If you want “smashing” you can look at Micks two crashes or when he simply rammed Vettel or when he rear ended Bottas in Monza.
Don't bother. He's just upset that Mick isn't turning out to be the next great driver, and taking his frustrations out on Kevin.
I know, but hundreds of others read it and regurgitate that shit. When you actually look at it, it’s obvious that Kmag has been extremely unlucky.
Noooo Mick that final sector :(
Ex Williams drivers Russell and Stroll going to start together tomorrow
Last two Williams Podium sitters.
Lewis 1.3 seconds faster than George...
George had car issues
Lewis masterclass or George fail?
Por que no los dos
This is why Lewis is who he is.
Both, Lewis is destroying Russell since Canada now lol
He has, but the wdc doesn’t reflect it so in 5 years we will see comments like “Russell destroyed Hamilton in his first year at Merc”
Eh I don't think so, Lewis has a very strong fanbase that will always correct someone who says that, I wouldn't count out Hamilton beating Russell in wdc either, this weekend could be a huge swing
Yep. Russell has outqualified Hamilton twice since Baku, 1 of them was when Lewis crashed and the other was when Lewis' DRS failed
Fuck I didn't know it was that bad haha, though he was faster in Canada until he went for slicks for a 1% gamble at pole
True. Although Hamilton had the low DF setup, focusing on the race
Sounds like a bad car setup.
Same engine issue as P1 he reported.
More George fail, whatever he does there he must make q3.
It's OK. George was just doing an experimental qualifying strategy.

Toto's removing of his glasses, just describes everything
AM ridiculous.. sad for Seb.
Clearly one of the faster midfield teams and you're setting fine times on inters and you gamble on slicks.
You wanna make that gamble in Q3 fine.. but why Q2.
No worries, safety car will put George ahead of Lewis tomorrow anyways
TOTO's face ahahaha
That Hamilton fellow is half decent eh
Quick lad in half-wet conditions, maybe he’ll even go on to win a championship some day, don’t you think? /j
You mean to tell me the greatest of all time performed as such? I for one, am shocked.
stroll has been better than vettel for a while already
Ever since Hungary, Its a mystery for me why he didnt retire with immidiate effect if hes not prepared to give the sport any effort.
Edit: Its hilariously sad if you look at the data.
Australia-France qualifying gap: -0,573% to Vettel.
Hungary-Singapore qualifying gap: +0,085% to Stroll.
That car has another 5 or 4 tenths that Vettel could extract if he gave some effort just sitting there. The car isn't so bad anymore.
Russell outqualified again.
get ready for Hamilton being unlucky in the race again and Russell increasing the points gap
Russell to start on hards and continue till there's a convenient safety car?
"Washed" Hamilton on it again in qualifying. Been the case since Canada
What happened to Russell?
he was just slow
who the hell knows, he's been way off lewis entire quali session
The "struggle" he referred to is a brake/vibration issue that he also had in FP1. Watching his onboard he was complaining the car wasn't feeling right from the beginning of Q1.
Engine issue the same as P1.
Although he’s out I gotta give a shout-out to Stroll who’s been outperforming Seb all weekend
A$ton Martin needs to hire some strategists. Maybe offer triple the salary to some at RB will
As mutch as i love mick, he needs to improve in quali. His race results with his pace could be so mutch better if he wouldnt start around 15th every race.
Another disasterclass from Aston
I don't understand what happened to Mick on the last lap. He was 4 tenths up on P10 in the first sector than by the end of the lap he was 3 tenths down on P10.
For his first qualifying, mick didn't do so bad
It's just Kevin is really fast around this track
The difference between Hamilton and Russell in this qualifying in the same car
1.3 secs off
Russell no pace whatsoever this quali, bit of a disaster
Russel in P11 : “nothing we could have done there”
Hamilton in P2 : doubt
Even with the Slick gamble, one of Astons best qualifying results this season. 12th and 14th.
I thought Russell was the second coming of Christ?
He’s a real boy
Shocker from George
This could be the end of Schumacher's F1 career.
God forbid someone posts an opinion on the internet
Nope. That is why I said ''could''.
Haas wanted him to improve perfromances until COTA or Mexico especially in a demanding track like Singapore.
He failed at doing in the first try when K-Mag got the 9th place.
He doesn't have many oppurtunities left. Time is ticking away for him.
was worth a shot
I mean hindsight is always 20/20 and inters would have been better here. But the track looked dry, Charles asked for slicks and Stroll went green in S1 and S2 at the end. It definitely could have worked, but just didn't
they keep replaying seb's radio lol it's just so sad.
Since his retirement announcement Vettel checked out, I am sorry to say that, at the beginning of the season he had Stroll in his pocket easily
Bye bye Schumacher!
