The Statistics flair is reserved for posts highlighting interesting statistics. As a rule of thumb, Statistics posts need to inform readers through visualizations and insights that cannot be obtained from raw data alone. For example, a post containing a qualifying gap between two drivers expressed in tenths of a second is an easily obtainable raw piece of data and constitutes a bad Statistics post. A visualization of what that translates to on-track, or visualization of how that gap came to be would constitute a good Statistics post.

That straight line for 2013 Seb…
Also shows how good his 2011 really was. The big dip that drops 2011 below 2013 in this graph is the DNF in Abu Dhabi because of a tire failure after turn 1.
2nd half 2013 Seb was a beast.
It was honestly a joy to watch, even if you didn't see Seb after the first lap. He was unreal on cold tyres
is that the mid-season tyre change?
That 2021 drop of Max from race 9 to 12 is quite absurd.
Mercedes sent their regards
I think I’ve seen those moves called “interesting tactics”
What a random tire failure, your main wdc rival taking you out and his teammate crashing into you does to a mf
2012 man, what a year.
I find it crazy that Seb has had the two most dominant starts to two of his championship-winning seasons, and two of the least dominant.
Its a reflection of the competition. In 2010 and 2012 the field was much more even than in any years since and for a long time before. I actually find those years are more impressive from Vettel, in both years coming back from being down on points.
Maybe instead of absolute points, do a percentage of total possible points to account for the addition of sprint points and fastest lap.
It's fascinating how Vettel is both in the very top of the list and in the very bottom.
Is that trending perfectly on 2019 Lewis?
With Fastest Lap and Sprint Race points, it will be more challenging for Seb 2013 to be matched on this list.
Yeah this season reminded me 2019 in that sense
Ooh it would.be interesting to see delta vs second place finisher, to see how competitive it was
I do love me a good statistic and graph but this just hurts my brain. Not Nico’s perfect start though
