The Statistics flair is reserved for posts highlighting interesting statistics. As a rule of thumb, Statistics posts need to inform readers through visualizations and insights that cannot be obtained from raw data alone. For example, a post containing a qualifying gap between two drivers expressed in tenths of a second is an easily obtainable raw piece of data and constitutes a bad Statistics post. A visualization of what that translates to on-track, or visualization of how that gap came to be would constitute a good Statistics post.

The race yesterday was the first time since Brazil 2021 where the WDC was unchanged by the outcome of a race. Everyone finished the race in the same WDC position they started it in.
Nice factoid..
2012: Where Pastor Maldonado won a race on merit. It is truly one the greatest seasons in the history of the sport.
Fun fact - without sprint races and points for fastest lap the maximum after round 7 is 175. Max has 170.
You can’t put it like that. Remove sprint points and his fastest laps. Then he’s on 161/175.
Right, that would be more fair. Still incredible dominance.
Truly remarkable. It’s looking like the season to break all records, but hopefully next year it will be a more exciting battle for P1
God what could have been last year, sad times
[Round 6 post](https://old.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/13upfvg/wdc_points_standings_lap_by_lap_up_to_round_6/) Points scored are calculated based on their positions at that lap, includes changes in fastest lap points too
