A sentence that Nagelsmann has repeatedly been telling his players: "You're wearing the Bayern logo on your chests. That means we have to win all titles"
The coaching staff believes in winning the treble & want to analyze all details ahead of PSG during the break.
According to the internal analysis, the team is currently 'three levels above' Nagelsmann's first season. Lewandowski's departure was successfully compensated, the harmony within the team is good, the players are developing individually.

Laimer is gonna be a Bayern player in a few months and the club will be all the better for it.
Sabitzer's resurgence is so overblown. He takes a ton of useless long shots, and his pressing and defensive presence, while decent, can easily be bettered. He is honestly just taking up wages at this point and he should be sold.
Guys hear me out. There is this one player on the market this winter and I thought, we have to buy him. I know he isn't the best currently, but trust me, he will go boom infront of the goal next to ECM.
I expect atleast one comment like that the next days.
13.01.2023 we will play against RB Salzburg. Is that a friendly match?

One thing I'm wondering is where Musiala is in all these stats in graphs, not just in this thread but all recent ones. Easily the best offensive player this season. Just shows that stats isn't all.

I've the feeling that people tend to underrate the 2014 Argentina National Team somewhat.
And now they somewhat assume that they are in general "that strong".
First WCs are always special and I hope he has a great one. Not trying to jinx rather trying to manifest that into reality.
Also, is that Kane Williamson with an SRH cap in your DP? Not what I needed to see today after that announcement đ
It was about time, Kane was released. Shouldn't have retained him in the first place, I was okay with leaving out Warner as well but retaining Rashid was a no-brainer.
Time for a new start with new coach and new players and hopefully, this 'new beginning' will bring some good things for the franchise.
And about the management, I prefer not to speak.
MI and SRH are only the 2 teams I root for in the IPL. What happened with PBKS was years of incompetence and I don't want us to end up in that position. Keeping my fingers crossed.
[Flirting vs Harassment stuff this](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/yvxccd/hltco_this_season_chelsea_have_appointed/), all this in middle of the season as well.
So Cristiano. People hate the idea of signing him, but getting CR7 for 6 months, clearly explaining his role as a rotational player, offering reasonable wages, and giving him the chance to prove himself one last time in the UCL would be far from the worst idea. Cristiano is still the clinical goal getter he once was. Unlike United he will get a lot more service here.
We complained about the way Lewy left us and you wanna buy a player, who literally said, that he has no respect for the coach and insulted someone, who criticized his game, about his looks....
Completely honest, hell no, not even for free
Before the season started I was actually on board with bringing cristiano on just to play in European matches if Man U paid most of his wages.
Needless to say, at this point I couldnât be farther from that position. Thereâs a reason there are rumors swirling about United making a move for Chuopo, weâre in a better position currently

But since we do have a good and solid track record on how he behaves and his antics - no, the whole thing is neither realistic nor would that transfer make any sense at all...
Man can score 10 goals and lift the trophy and I wouldn't care. Guy has a toxic attitude, will never change his personal ambition and only plays for himself.
And thats not even mentioning what a terrible person he is.
It already got stopped by Plettenberg who just repeated we have no interest in him, and wont go for him. Its dead, and if we are honest it never was alive.

>Pavard: "Olivier always tells me that Italy lives football. He told me about the magic of derbies, the celebration of the fans for the Scudetto. I would love to play with him also because he is a great friend. We'll see"
Deserves it. Always was a reliable player. But he should stop to express his wish so regularly, it looks like we are forcing him to stay which isn't the case and it makes his exit a little "ugly" if he does this constantly. Wouldn't really understand the move to AC but if he is happy there
Apparently Barcelona are interested in him however they want a RB whereas it seems Pavard just wants CB.
Chelsea might be interested since they might need another CB , Thiago Silva cant keep playing forever.
Wherever he goes, just hope we can get a massive fee for him
Friendship ended with Lucas and he now he wants to be best friends with Theo Hernandez of AC Milan.
I don't want to lose him but if he wants to go, we should let him. He's very good as RB and can cover up as CB if MDL/Lucas/Upa are injured but doesn't have the quality to be a first choice CB. If he wants to leave, might as well do it on respectful terms by talking and negotiating with the board.
I wonder what the point of this is. Bayern is not letting you go during the Winter transfer window, especially after the WC, and if youre planning on leaving in the summer why make your comments now? What purpose do they serve, you could make your intentions known in June/July aswell and I doubt Bayern is going to force you to stay.
[Do you guys in hindsight also think that 7m was too much? :D](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/2r3hmz/bayern_sign_joshua_kimmich_for_next_summer_until/cnc3gcq/)
Oh man that was a trip back in timeâŠinteresting to read some of the opinions of the sub then, a lot of names that I donât recognize from the current active posters
Maybe they didn't went on to become worldclass like Kimmich but I mean all those guys still play at the top level. Brandt is going to the WC legit a dream coming true.
Opinions on Ronaldo for a rĂŒck-runde contract?
Would give Choupo the wrong vibes in my opinion. On the other hand, Ronaldo is a pig in many ways, but he is one hell of a football player and a great PR opportunity.
Edit; since people cant understand. I am not saying I am pro or against a transfer, just interested in knowing peoples opinions as the first sentence explains.
I wouldnât intentionally accept a Trojan horse as free gift.
Best case scenario is we donât pay any wages and he comes here, but I still feel like heâd be the locker room equivalent of a Trojan horse. When would he play? Iâd rather have ECM than CR7 for champions league games and no way CR7 has the stamina to play the Bundesliga matches. Besides, we can probably win the Bundesliga without a true 9 anyway. Also the football has been a lot more fun to watch since we stopped playing cross-to-Lewy ball. Thereâs no way I want that style of play to come back and especially not for a player far inferior to Lewy, regardless of how good he was in his prime.
It blows my mind how most people are still salty AF over Lewy because "he was a diva and caused so much drama" but they can look at Cristiano Ronaldo right now and say: should we sign him?
Tbh I don't think it's even worth having a "non-biased" discussion about it but for argument's sake: the pro's people are giving are:
- he's still a great player: no he's not, he's on the decline, as any 37yo would be. His performances with Man U last season are a reflection of how bad the team was rather than how great he still is. He can score goals, he still has amazing pure talent sure but we're not in need of that right now.
-shirt sales: we're a football club not an Apple store. Not to mention we're one of the most financially healthy club.
-PR opportunity: Bayern fans are not Man U united or PSG fans, this is exactly the kind of signing that the true fans would absolutely despise because it goes against everything the club is about.
The whole point of a player like him was that he can basically win you titles, which was true in the past but not anymore so why in the world would you want to bring in a steaming hot pile of stupid problems, pay him giant wages, disrupt the whole team for what? To sell a few extra shirts?
Come on.
I would say that he is more than capable of scoring goals for us since it won't require as much pace and is more of a number 9 role.
With a significant decrease in value and probably been a bit more down to earth regarding his salary i'd say it affects the calculations pretty much.
I am pretty certain we could strike a financially good bargain with him, my concern is whether or not he fits in the team, adapts to Nagelsman, and how humble he can be.
This is the same discussion we had in the summer, like 1 to 1, and people are just done with it. Unburying it makes people just angry when already everything has been said.
I doubt bringing a player who wouldnât respect our young coach, and who is likely to cause conflict and turmoil in the locker room will affect Barcelona.
In fact, rival clubs will probably be elated
It was just a joke ... but anyway i dont like Ronaldo, but my feeling is that he finally will show some humility, and as much as i dont like him i havent seen a player with such a work ethic.
This conversation has been had multiple times already. He doesn't fit our system, his personality is whack, he costs too much, Nagelsmann said no, Kahn said no, Brazzo said no, he also brings bad PR, do we want Ronaldo fans storming us in general, no he doesn't bring in more in shirts sales to offset his wages.
Did I miss anything?
We all hope here tha Jamal will rise and shine in the WC ... i also just wanna see my boy Neuer get another golden glove and maybe best player in the champ. What an illustrious career would that be, GOATKEEPER.
I'd love to see Muller get the golden boot and get the WC goal record even though I like Klose, shame that he will probably not get it because of Low's "tactics" in the last world cup
Bayern (and Inter) also have at least one player in world cup final [since 1982](https://www.espn.com/soccer/fifa-world-cup/4/blog/post/3563376/world-cup-final-sees-inter-milan-and-bayern-munich-dominate-since-1982), it's going to be interesting whether that trends carry on or not
I kindly invite everyone to become fellow Utah Jazz fans. Pre-season we traded our all-stars and were expected to tank for high draft picks. With a hodge podge group of players weâve defied the expectations so far and are currently 3rd in the whole league. Itâs been an absolute blast and there are games every 2-3 days
Well, I'll just play games with them or watch a movie.
The thing is, as I said, I wish only the best for the Players & Staff and so on. Yet I think, this WC is too much. We all know that there's corruption all around us.
But this WC, it just feels like a kick to the head imo.
I think Bayern Munich have the highest number of players representing NT. It was around 16-18 iirc. So, it may not be an advantage for us. However, the other Bundesliga teams in CL might fare well because of the same.
Hopefully so, for English sides this could mean more match experience after the wc but also a higher chance of injuries. I personally think the winter break will do good for BuLi teams, I just hope the team gets up and running by the time CL comes.
I know Bayern are not gonna buy anyone in January, but if you could choose, which realistic transfer would you like?
Sign Ronaldo......for the Ama'sđ
Sign Laimer, Moukoko, Bensebaini and N'dicka in the winter for next season. That's all.
Laimer and Ronaldo
Sosa/Bensebaini, to give some rest to our overworked and constantly injured defense.

Oh shit Nkunku is missing the World Cup
Damn, in training too. Apparently it's from a challenge from Camavinga as well (according to BBC). Fifpro recently came out and said that there's 'an extra high risk' for more injuries in the World Cup and this club season as well. >Fifpro will next week release a report investigating the impact a mid-season World Cup has had on player workload. Key findings are that players will have only seven days of pre-tournament preparation compared with a previous average of 31, and some players â including those in the Premier League â may have only eight daysâ recovery post-tournament before their league season starts again, compared with an average of 37 in past years. > >The report also details the overload experienced by top players in European leagues, with Harry Kane having started every competitive fixture for Spurs this season and Kylian MbappĂ© playing 75% of his minutes in âback-to-back matchesâ, where players miss out on the recommended five-day break between games. > >Darren Burgess, a consultant with Fifpro and a former director of high performance at Arsenal, said the tournament had a greater number of absentees from soft-tissue injuries thanks to insufficient recovery time. He also said there was a âreally high riskâ of injury in Qatar not only for players who have played a lot of games but also for those â such as Kyle Walker or Harry Maguire â who lack match fitness or are âunderloadedâ.âAdd the heat in and youâve got an extra risk,â he said. âThe heat of Qatar is something a lot of teams havenât been exposed to and arenât used to.â > >On the absentees he said: âThe number of soft-tissue injuries that have ruled players out of this World Cup is definitely higher because you just donât have time. Before if someone did their hamstring in the last game of the Premier League season you still had 35 days to restore that injury prior to your first World Cup. You just donât have that now.â

Violet. The Scarlet Legendary looks good in general but the running animations with these 2 big wheels looks so shit. I also like the Violett version of mega man better (scarlett: blaster, violett: swords). I will miss my tyranitar which is only in Scarlett but a friend gets it and can send it to me
Cool, I stayed clear of trailers and spoilers so I've no idea about the differences. I chose based on the covers so I went with Scarlet.
I tried to be a virgin as much as possible but I still saw a wiglett anyways. I looked up some differences but i have no idea which others pokemon are in the game and anything related to the gameplay itself. Looking forward to it!
Can't stay a virgin for long with a body like that. I don't expect the game to be particularly good but I know I'll enjoy it as a guilty pleasure. Like a bad comedy.

You can play them on phone but it's not the same. Currently playing Shining Pearl
I played shining pearl too. Damn was it buggy. There were like 5 different ways to duplicate pokemon and it was constantly getting patched. Also, I wish it were more like Platinum instead.
That's really unfortunate. I'd preorder the game too if Nintendo gave some nice gift along with it, but preorders in the US only give some in-game junk like revives

On a different subject.. I hope they fix the fjeld at Allianz during the world cup.
How could they fix the [mountain](https://www.google.com/search?q=fjeld+translation+to+english&oq=fjeld+to+&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0i15i22i30j0i22i30j0i15i22i30j0i22i30j0i15i22i30j0i390l2.7162j0j4&client=ms-android-oneplus&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8) at the Allianz?
They do, it's already confirmed. The NFL fully takes the costs for it, 160-200k
we got a ton of free promo and a brand new pitch for the second half of the season, the nfl game was a success we can call this a win win
Oh great, thanks.

While I agree to some degree, there's no need to shit-talk a player that does his best every minute he plays.
Swap deal for Laimer?
I partially agree on the second part. Itâs still a somewhat popular opinion that he should start in big games over goretzka
Well if Laimer is signed he probably will be.
Guys hear me out. There is this one player on the market this winter and I thought, we have to buy him. I know he isn't the best currently, but trust me, he will go boom infront of the goal next to ECM. I expect atleast one comment like that the next days.
We should buy Max Power from Wigan Athletic just for the name alone.
Imagine the power on/off jokes. When he leaves it's over-powered. If he has a bad phase we could call him Min Power!
Ngl it has something
It started already
Oh no
We should get a feature when everytime his name gets mentioned the comment is automatically hidden/taken off.
And he would bring sooo much revenue from shirt sales!
13.01.2023 we will play against RB Salzburg. Is that a friendly match? >Bayern will face Red Bull Salzburg in a friendly at the FC Bayern Campus on 13 January to prepare for the second half of the season

Idk what it means either but great news

highest copium usage i've ever seen
Copium usage? The tournament hasn't even begun, so what exactly do I have to cope with? Jamal has been in great form and it's just me hoping that Germany will make it to the finals and Musiala will score the winning goal.
Jamal is great, but the German national team is mediocre.
SanĂ©, Kimmich, Gnabry, RĂŒdiger, Neuer, Goretzka, GĂŒndogan and Kroos aren't exactly Players I would call "mediocre". All of them performe pretty well at their Clubs.
> Kroos
Yes. At their clubs. This is the national team however and Argentina, Brazil and France are all better.
Argentina? Really? Ok, name five worldclass Players in the Argentina Squad besides Messi.
Well. I was definitely wrong lmao.
I've the feeling that people tend to underrate the 2014 Argentina National Team somewhat. And now they somewhat assume that they are in general "that strong".
Its not FIFA. It's about the teamplay. And Germany didn't look good this past year.
Yet, you basically argue on the basis of Fifa. Right now, we can't overly predict any results; yes, France has a strong and proven squad. Brazil also kinda. Argentina is also ok'ish. Yet, the German Squad is also good. It didn't perform well, sure - Ok. Yet you talkin' about Teamplay? Dude, Neuer, Goretzka, Kimmich, Ganbry, SanĂ©, MĂŒller and Musiala all playin' in the same team. SĂŒle played with them in the same team. Some of those guys know each other since the Youth Clubs - like for an example SanĂ©, Gnabry, Goretzka and Kimmich. While I wont say that Germany is one of the top favourits - It is filled with potential and everything else than "mediocre". Because you literally have to go to the other top teams like France to actually makin' the point that the team doesn't go into the match as favourit.
Jinxing hard you guys đ I'm just happy he's out there playing
First WCs are always special and I hope he has a great one. Not trying to jinx rather trying to manifest that into reality. Also, is that Kane Williamson with an SRH cap in your DP? Not what I needed to see today after that announcement đ
SRH management clowning again, first with Warner now Kane

Yup best of luck for you guys
All great things must come to an end :(
True that, it was about time. But that won't change the fact that he will forever be 'Kane Mama' for SRH and the team's supporters.

No im the biggest Benji fan đđ
1v1 me fifa to decide
I mean, Pavards basically announced that he officially wants to leave
Is there something new or is this about what he said 1 week ago about wanting to try something else?
*Edit*': Jules wrote a better version above
Yes
Wonder which club will he go to?
He said he wants to play in Italy so I guess we'll see.
Ya itâll be interesting to see whoâs in for him because he wants to play CB.
Mods, can we get the option to post GIFs again? At least in the DD?

Hey guys. Now that we've got a long break, what are your thoughts on firing JN and bringing back Kovac?
do it u/brazzo, no balls
Honestly i don't get why we still have a manager. Just let the squad manage itself.
I respect when people write someting like this without te /s.
[Do you guys in hindsight also think that 7m was too much? :D](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/2r3hmz/bayern_sign_joshua_kimmich_for_next_summer_until/cnc3gcq/)
Oh man that was a trip back in timeâŠinteresting to read some of the opinions of the sub then, a lot of names that I donât recognize from the current active posters
>That whole U-19 side seems very talented, Selke, Brandt, Stark... lmao
Aged like Milk
Maybe they didn't went on to become worldclass like Kimmich but I mean all those guys still play at the top level. Brandt is going to the WC legit a dream coming true.
Brandt the only decent one. But heâs too hot and cold.
Not even his first WC. Brandt is very inconsistent but occasionally one of the best players in the league. The other two fell off massively
That made me giggle, not gonna lie.
Okay guys, just hear me out. Pros: 1.He is a force to be reckoned with even against his age. 2.Shirt sales vould be unreal. 3.He broke most of the records in football, have the winner mentality. 4.There is a good arguement to be made that he is the GOAT, better than Messi or Maradona, he is the real embassador of this sport. 5.Would give his all to win a ballod d'or. Which would be neat! 6.Could mentor our youngsters. 7.If he would sign to us as his first european top team in his carreer that would be massive PR. Cons: 1.His age. 2.I dont see him not taking his favorite kit number from our beloved german star. 3.He having controvelsial media outbursts is a slight understatemant. All in all, based on my points Bayern would be mad to miss out on *Pelé. /s*
Had me in the first 9/10ths, not gonna lie
> All in all, based on my points Bayern would be mad to miss out on Pelé. /s Bring back the New York cosmos, sign Beckenbauer and the corpse of Chinaglia too
Which opening game was/is worse from the hype factor? Russia - saudi arabia or this bullshit on sunday?
This one because 2018 was an actual WC that had a WC feeling
I'm hyped because Ecuador is still a much stronger team than Qatar, so it'll be hopefully fun to see Qatar get absolutely trashed on sunday
Tbh I don't think it's even worth having a "non-biased" discussion about it but for argument's sake: the pro's people are giving are: - he's still a great player: no he's not, he's on the decline, as any 37yo would be. Come on.
Feels a bit weird saying this but why would we want to bring in a player that takes any play time away from Choupo MotingâŠ
no no no no
But tshirt sales?
we have messiala for that
And here we go again, the constant Ronaldo suggestions
How do you watch the interview he just dropped, and think to yourself: "Yeah, I want Ronaldo here"?
Dont want him here. But that interview in my opinion had nothing wrong. Bit over the top? Yes. Downright disgusting? No
Haven't watch the entire interview, and I have not stated that I want him here. I do belive it should be considered weighing in pros & cons.
I understand. Even if we leave aside everything surrounding him, he has only gotten worse on the field. So I don't think it's worth it.
That already happened in the summer, the verdict was no, and nothing changed for the better for Ronaldo.
Yes, but I'd argue that his value has drastically decreased.
Because he is even worse than last year. Doesn't change the calculation surrounding him at all.
I would take him, just to rub salt in Barca even more
I doubt bringing a player who wouldnât respect our young coach, and who is likely to cause conflict and turmoil in the locker room will affect Barcelona.
Ronaldo fans in the mud
As per usual
We all hope here tha Jamal will rise and shine in the WC ... i also just wanna see my boy Neuer get another golden glove and maybe best player in the champ. What an illustrious career would that be, GOATKEEPER.
I'd love to see Muller get the golden boot and get the WC goal record even though I like Klose, shame that he will probably not get it because of Low's "tactics" in the last world cup
Musiala will have a "2010 WC MĂŒller" like performance, I can feel it.
So bayern sends the most players to the WC -- that's a badge of honor
Yep, also worries me that someone will get hurt and they wont be as well rested in the second half
Bayern (and Inter) also have at least one player in world cup final [since 1982](https://www.espn.com/soccer/fifa-world-cup/4/blog/post/3563376/world-cup-final-sees-inter-milan-and-bayern-munich-dominate-since-1982), it's going to be interesting whether that trends carry on or not
Another 66 days for Bundesliga games. How are we all coping?
I kindly invite everyone to become fellow Utah Jazz fans. Pre-season we traded our all-stars and were expected to tank for high draft picks. With a hodge podge group of players weâve defied the expectations so far and are currently 3rd in the whole league. Itâs been an absolute blast and there are games every 2-3 days
I have American football to keep my interest, plus as crap ton of movies, games and shows to watch
Hoping for some Flicky-Flacka inspired Musiala magic in Qatar
I hope the best for the Players and all that. Yet I will ignore the Stuff in Qatar.
that's a commendable standpoint, I just honestly can't bring myself to say "no" to watching Germany games with friends and family...
Well, I'll just play games with them or watch a movie. The thing is, as I said, I wish only the best for the Players & Staff and so on. Yet I think, this WC is too much. We all know that there's corruption all around us. But this WC, it just feels like a kick to the head imo.
Will the longer winter break be an advantage for German teams? E.g. Premier League will continue 8 days after the WC.
I think there will be 5 BuLi matchdays before the UCL round of 16, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Watching Musiala comps 5 times a day
Re-Watching chuopo moting WC final hattrick 3 times a day >
