Can't stand either, 'Big City Club' pshhh
But it's also hilarious to watch Hamburg fuck up in 2. BuLi and it's well deserved after those final abysmal years in the top league.
Get rid of the relegation altogether. I don't think it's fair that a team that played well for a season has to live with staying down after losing against a team that has shown all season it doesn't belong in the first league.
It's a way to protect the Bundesliga from getting a team that is not good enough.
Remove this match, then it should only be two teams going down and two going up.
It's wrong. The relegation matches are there to add two more games to the calendar to generate more TV revenue.
And do you actually believe that HSV is worse than Hertha?
It's better for the product to make sure that the better team gets to play in the Bundesliga.
If Hertha wins over two matches then yes, that would be the better outcome.
The stats of 10-2 in favor of the Bundesliga is only proving that to be correct, you can whine all you want, but this is protection of the league and the teams in it... To keep the overall quality higher.
But I agree they should remove it and make it so only 2 teams are promoted.
Personally, I think it's a bit much to imply that a single goal invalidates 68 games. Hertha sucked the entire season, they don't 'deserve' to be in the Bundesliga anymore than Hamburg.
Oh it's today already

Hamburg has been humbled enough though, and also restructured the club somewhat. Berlin is a worse offender, so I'm all in for them to swap leagues
Magath pisses me off too.
Definitely rooting for HSV after those recent Magath comments
Well said
I think Hamburg going back up would be decent for the league and I don't think we really need Hertha up at all.

I completely agree with you. But it's all about that sweet, sweet TV cash.
But then look at Köln who clearly where good enough for this season

/s ?
No.... It's common knowledge.

Now the record is 11-2 in favor of the Bundesliga teams, so again it protected the overall quality of the league. Beautiful.
I disagree. HSV would have been a better addition to the league than Hertha.
Yet they failed in doing so and this doesn't deserve it.

So in fact you are agreeing with us... Perfect.
if they're so good, they should have no problem beating the team who doesn't belong in the first league.
Totally in for Hertha because HSV and Pauli NEED to stay in a league. Either promote both or none.
HA HO HE Hertha BSC als Berliner muss das sein
Berlin going down would be horrible for their finances so it'd be kinda funny
Fuck Magath and anyone that loves him
Insallah Hamburg pull through
