So, today I celebrate 30 days since I started prolonged fasting again, for a total of 329 hours altogether.
It's not my first rodeo as I lost 80 lbs in 2019. But, since Corona started, I picked on some bad old habits such as eating bread everyday, beer and sugar.
For some reason, now I crave spicy food and I was never into it before.
So, to celebrate this mark and coming down from 218 to a lean 190lbs (I am 6'4") I broke my fast with a bag of ghost pepper chips.
Kids, don't ever do that. My soup is simmering on the stove and I have been stuck in the bathroom for an hour.
It feels like I am being raped by the Human Torch!!!
Don't be like me.
Ugh, my favorite thing in the world is insanely spicy things... I mean, I'm Korean, so I was born like this. I had the worse craving for the Samyang 2X fire noodles while I was on my 40 day fast. I can only imagine if I had refed on that after 40 days...
I bow to you sir.
I came out of a 40hs today. The total hours were cumulative for the month. I am reckless but that would be suicide.
I'm gonna research those noodle though. I got into cooking Korean food, love it. Thanks for the tip!
Hahaha, then you are a much better person than I 😊.
Oh yes, please research, the noodles are so yummy, and very spicy. People do challenges on YouTube eating them, but they exaggerate their pain...I think.
The 2x are absolutely delicious and addictive! I eat two packs at a time haha.
Me, the wife and kids all did the one chip challenge, as a Cajun I love spicy food but that was like I was blowing satan.
Please don’t tell me you broke your fast with spicy chips.
I was feeling brave and wanted to test my limits. Well, I am limited to the toilet bow.
Bruh I'm surprised you can even leave the bathroom.
I did. My mom always said stupid is stupid does. She was right.
And ate those on an empty stomach...
Yes, but never again, dear friend. From now on I'll try to learn from OTHER'S mistakes.
I'm familiar with their one chip challenge. Not sure if these chips are as hot.
No, not at all. But as I found out, not a good way to break any fast.
RIP your colon
i did the same thing this weekend with some doritos dinamita. it was.... very very... unpleasant
Oh yeah. I regret it dearly but I'll check it for lessons learned.
